GGuest UserWe arrived by car, and upon arrival, a staff member kindly guided us to the parking lot.
The lobby was also explained thoroughly.
I think it's good that they only provide the amenities you need, as they don't leave extra in the room for guests who don't use them, preventing waste.
For dinner, we made a reservation at ”Rakuda,” a restaurant attached to a nearby hotel. The sashimi and seared bonito were delicious.
The room felt a little small. There was a stand for our suitcases, but since we only had two bags, we sat on the chairs and our luggage was on the floor. 🌀 It was clean, so it was acceptable.
We could hear voices from the next room and sounds hitting the walls, but all the rooms were quiet at night, which was good. However, groups talking late into the night would be disruptive.
Breakfast was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the fruit and bread 🥐. The toaster was an Aladdin, which I used for the first time, and it made me want to replace my toaster at home.
After checking out, I asked if I could leave my car there while I explored the nearby area. The parking attendant was very kind and even joked, ”Of course, even for a day!” I checked out at 9am and they let me leave my car there until 10am.
Everyone was incredibly friendly and kind.
On the way back, I was with a client's family, and one of the women even took photos for us. Their thoughtfulness was really appreciated.
The hot spring bath was spacious, with large changing rooms, a large bathtub, and a large washing area.
Since it was with a client, I'm glad I chose such a nice hotel.

WWushuang07Shiojikan, well done! Kochi Prefecture's GDP is the second lowest in Japan, so I didn't have high expectations for Shiojikan, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! The facilities were comfortable, and the food was delicious. The onsen is a typical Japanese hot spring, but unlike others, it has a cold plunge pool. And the toiletries are absolutely, incredibly, amazingly good! I would definitely recommend this hotel to any friends who are visiting.

TtokkytokkyI stayed for one night and was really impressed. All the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, even giving me tips on the local area. 😊 Thanks to them, I had a very comfortable stay.
My only minor suggestion would be regarding the loungewear – there's only one free size. As a 178cm, 75kg guy, it felt a bit small. I imagine many international travelers stay here too, so perhaps offering two sizes would be a good idea.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kochi. Thank you! 😊

DDennis 陈This Hotel is perched on a hillock overlooking the river Niyodo. It has a large social space comprising places to talk with tables and sofas and lounging areas with 3 big bean bags. It also has a Bar lounge replete with 8 types of local sake, red and white wines, Asahi draft beer, green tea, oolong tea, coffee via coffee machine, and tidbits. It is a popular place as it is set near to the way to the Onsen.
Onsen has both in and outdoor facilities. The indoor has 3 pools and huge shower area. There is also a hidden jet massage area with 4 Individual seats.
Breakfast and the Dinner Kaiseki were fantastic!
Room is spacious and well lit.

LLaojackThe hotel room was quite spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had been renovated. The smart toilet seat had a slight color difference from the toilet itself, indicating the smart toilet seat had been replaced. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the quality was good and the food was delicious. Most of the staff were South Asian. It met 4-star standards.
When we checked in, the room wasn't ready yet. They immediately gave us drink vouchers to use in the hotel coffee shop. They only came in to inform us after we finished checking in. This service was quite satisfactory.

GGuest UserWe had the most amazing time at Sodayama Onzen. It is a very special place to relax and unwind. Our room had a private onsen overloooking a stream in the forest. The rooms were very spacious and clean. We also enjoyed the amazing food! It was a very special experience but way too much, especially in the mornings. But it was a great experience of fine Japanese cuisine. The staff was so friendly, communication with google translate helped.

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are excellent, the air conditioning works great, and it offers great value for money. The WiFi is strong, the environment is pleasant, and the location is convenient. I particularly loved that the room came with a bathtub, and the cleanliness was impeccable, making for a very comfortable stay. Check-in was quick, and the hotel service was, as always, top-notch. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming, proactively greeting guests, which was a thoughtful touch! There's plenty of parking available, which is very convenient. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel!

A hotel with beautiful sea views and a well-designed outdoor hot spring pool.
The front desk staff were very patient. On the eve of the typhoon, many buses changed their schedules. The hotel staff also took us to the bus stop with the departing bus!

I went to the rice shop in the facility, but I was a little disappointed that I made a mistake in calculating at the time of payment. The rice you have reserved seems to come out smoothly, but it takes time to order it on the spot. We recommend that you book dinner or eat outside.
