Overall, it was quite clean, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic! The overall value for money is decent. It's about a 10-15 minute drive to Johor Bahru Sentral, and the area isn't very bustling, so you'll need to take a taxi to get around. For this price, it's considered a good find. If your budget allows, you might want to choose a place closer to Sentral.

Room very clean, all facilities are new and functioning well, free refil water, hot shower water, cold aircond, tv with many function, stable wifi, enough socket, everything well equipped
Location is excellent, near the TF mall, Lotus and Aeon Bukit Indah. Quiet and nice, clean bedroom and lots of parking downstairs and many food and shops nearby.
For me, the hotel was a bang for your buck. For the price, it’s worth it as the check in/out was smooth even with self-service kiosk (do remember to prepare a RM50 cash deposit), the wifi in the room was fast and amenities were sufficient enough for a short stay.

Booked two different rooms. Mine was a single queen room on the lower floor (there are only two levels of rooms). Could hear plumbing noises from
above the room intermittently way after midnight. I suppose people were showering. Could hear noises made by inconsiderate guests past midnight from outside the room. Complimentary breakfast spread was good.
Would book the hotel again but would pay more for a room on the higher floor.

The hostel is well located near the JB sentral station.
The beddings are confortable but the room was packed with luggages and cardboards. There was no locker available inside the room. A small locker is available outside in the common female only area
Only 3 of the shower/toilet had a lock. The toilets are always wet.
The common areas are decided into two floors (1st and LG(parking)). The ”kitchen” is in the LG floor which is always open. So there are a lot of people going in and out at all time. The kitchen has a fridge and a water dispenser. The staff is nice but somehow not surpr helpful. I always felt I was a little disturbing them.
I stayed there a week so I guess that's why I saw all the little flaws.
Overall First Impression: Modern, clean, and tech-savvy, with excellent hygiene and new facilities. The self-check-in system makes arrival smooth, and the hotel feels fresh and well-maintained.
Parking & Access:
· Parking is accessible with a Touch 'n Go card.
· Overnight rate: RM11 (from 9:45 PM to 8:35 AM).
· Alternatively, street parking is available but requires a coupon or parking app.
· Note: The elevator (lift) is located on Level 1, so you’ll need to take stairs to reach it initially—something to consider if you have heavy luggage.
Check-in & Fees:
· Self check-in kiosk available—fast and convenient.
· Refundable deposit: RM50, payable by card.
· Extra access card: Also requires a RM50 refundable deposit, plus a RM20 daily electricity charge.
Room & Cleanliness:
· Exceptionally clean (”squeaky clean”), everything feels new.
· Room has a pleasant, fresh scent.
· Twist the toothpaste to open
· Minor Issue: The shower/bathroom drain was slow to clear water.
Facilities:
· Coway water dispenser and ironing facilities available in the hallway for guest use.
· Water pressure on Level 2 was average—functional but not strong.
· During my stay, there was a grand opening buffet with a great selection of food—a nice bonus
Pros so far:
· Very clean and new
· Smooth self check-in
· Front desk on stand by is nice
· Convenient payment options (card for deposit)
· Good basic amenities (Coway, iron)
· Bonus: enjoyed opening ceremony buffet
Cons so far:
· Lift access requires stairs from ground level
· Extra daily charge for electricity (RM20) on top of card deposit
· Water pressure is only average (at least on Level 2)
· Slow bathroom drain
It would be a lovely guest perk if the hotel could waive or provide a discount on the parking fee for staying guests, simplifying the arrival experience haha

JJune73There are plenty of eateries around and the location is good. The room is clean, but the soundproofing is only fair. We could hear people talking and laughing at night.

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly dormitory in Johor Bahru, HereHotel Dormitory is a great option. Located in Skudai, it’s near Paradigm Mall JB, making it convenient for shopping and dining.
The dormitory is clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and good air-conditioning. The WiFi is reliable, and the common areas are kept tidy. Despite being a shared space, it’s quiet and suitable for rest after a long day.
The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in process. For the price, HereHotel Dormitory offers great value for solo travelers and backpackers. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, no-frills, and comfortable stay in Johor Bahru.
AAnonymous UserH3 hotel is a budget hotel in Yong Peng. The accommodation is comfortable, cleanliness acceptable.
⭕ car parking space provided.
❌ no electric kettle, no lift(quite a problem if the room is on the higher floor).

CChooEricaThe accommodation is very clean and the service is friendly. The location is far from the pier, but you can experience the unbeatable sea view.
MMaddog220The location of this small budget hotel is great for couples or small groups of 3-4 pax and it’s just next to the big seafood restaurants (King and New Seafood Restaurants) which is next to the jetty.
The room is rather big and clean the toilet is adequate and everything works, so no worries. But as a budget traveller,, please don’t expect bells and whistles for the price u are paying per night. .this place is suitable if u only want a good and clean environment to stay for 1-2 days. There are many eateries around this hotel too and they even have their own restaurant downstairs. Everywhere is easily within walking distance from hotel.
The best thing about this place is the reception staffs. They are all very friendly and warm ppl and willing to help if u need any tourist information about Kukup.
The only complaint is the limited parking in front of the hotel. They have only 1 parking lot for hotel guest & 1 parking lot for the restaurant guests. So if u are driving, u have to be lucky if no one is parking at the hotel lot and u can park there for free. If not u have to park elsewhere at the many free public carparks or or paid guarded carpark lots at RM10 per day.
I would definitely stay here again if not coming as a big group.
GGuest UserReceptionist was welcoming and pleasant to talk with, room was decently well maintained (Didn't take pictures) and it felt okay to good for a night's stay. Nearby is Paradigm Mall where the picture was the DipnDip chocolate crepe that I bought, delicious 😋
HHahuhaheClose to Senai airport but not within walking distance. Shower not screened from toilet, so once you shower, the toilet floor is wet. The surrounding environment is very degraded. See a lot of litter. The trash point is an eyesore. Potholes are filled in with construction debris. Not the hotel's fault. But i am not coming back.
AAnonymous UserInteresting hotel hidden in a small corner, taken care by an elderly couple. The lady gave us a room tours and explained to us on the house rules as well as the use of the toilets. The pod iteself is interesting and feel clean. There are different setup depending on your objective..a simple night sleep or to game the night away
