Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|2.67km from city center
The location is superb, right by Harbour City and just a stone's throw from Victoria Harbour. We arrived from Zhuhai in the morning, around 11 AM, and were able to check-in early and store our luggage. We then immediately started our exploration of dining and shopping. Around 3 PM, I asked for our room number and was surprised with an upgrade! The room was super spacious, and the bathroom even had a shower. It also came with USB charging ports, so I didn't need to bring a power adapter. The bed was huge and very comfortable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Hong Kong.

Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|2.46km from city center
This is a very good hotel in the popular Tsim Sha Tsui area. Though most rooms don't have much of a view of the Victoria Harbour, the overall feel is very nice. It's a bit old, but under SHK's management, it's still one of the best in this price range. We only stayed one night and didn't buy the breakfast; I did use the sauna and it met expectation. The room is reasonably spacious by Hong Kong standard, though I won't call it big. Towels are plenty and have the good soft feel. Bathroom is quite spacious relative to the size of the room. Shower works fine. For two persons visitng Hong Kong for a few days, this is definitely one choice (though it depends on the rates they charge).

I've stayed at this hotel many times before, but I feel it really needs renovation. This time, I brought a friend to celebrate a birthday and requested a small decoration or a cake, but the request was rejected quite quickly. ”I appreciate the service over the years, but this experience left me feeling a little sad and disappointed.” ”I hope the hotel considers updates and a more flexible approach for special requests.”

We stayed at Royal Plaza Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights with a group of 4. The location was excellent, with convenient access to public transport, attractions, and plenty of great food within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. We also appreciated having a bathtub to relax after a long day of exploring. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely consider staying at Royal Plaza Hotel again on our next trip to Hong Kong.

The hotel is really, really old. I stayed in a premium suite this time, and the toilet was broken, the showerhead was broken, and there was a strange noise coming from the bathroom all night long. The air conditioning switch was also very hard to turn on. Do not stay in family suite 803; many of its facilities are broken! It's even worse than a 7 Days Inn in mainland China! The only upside is the good location!

This time, I was given a room on the top floor. The air conditioning was quite noisy, and the soundproofing wasn't great. If you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend bringing earplugs. They don't provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or combs, so you'll need to bring your own. The location is super convenient, just a short walk from Jordan Station Exit D. You can also easily walk to Donki and Victoria Harbour from the hotel. I often choose to stay here when I'm in town for concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum or to visit the Xiqu Centre in West Kowloon, as it's all within walking distance.

Exceeded expectations for the price! The service was incredibly attentive, and the location is super convenient with many well-known eateries downstairs. The Science and Technology Museum and the Museum are right across the street, and my child absolutely loved spending two days at the Science and Technology Museum. The room amenities were thoughtfully designed, even including a universal adapter for different plugs, and wireless charging by the bed – so considerate!

Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|2.14km from city center
I booked a twin room for early July, for a stay in August. It wasn't one of the newly renovated rooms, and they assigned me room 1238. After seeing many recommendations on Xiaohongshu, I somewhat regretted not booking a new renovation, as I was worried about fleas or bugs at night. I also have somewhat sensitive skin, but after checking in, I felt okay; the bedding seemed newly changed and was quite dry. I'm not a fan of carpets, and to be honest, the room wasn't very big. Having stayed in hotels both domestically and internationally, I truly feel that hotels in Hong Kong are extremely cramped. I visited Hong Kong once fifteen years ago, so I thought a price of over 500 for a central location was quite cheap, given the convenient area. As for the downsides, the duvet and pillows were a bit noisy (I put a cotton and linen t-shirt on the pillow and it felt okay), and the showerhead couldn't be detached. The hot and cold water also needed separate adjustments. My biggest dislike was how old the in-room kettle was; I really didn't dare to use it. Hong Kong has super strong air conditioning everywhere, and since I always carry a thermos when going back to the room or heading out, I went to the restaurant next to the front desk twice a day to ask for hot water. The restaurant staff were so kind; I hope the hotel praises them. Downstairs, I recommend the almond meringue at Lin Kee Ice Cafe. Across the street is a large Muji, and there's another Lin Kee restaurant on the second floor. Three of us had a meal there that cost over 900 HKD; the tea was very fragrant, but the food was just average. Overall, the hotel is decent!

Amenities: They provide complimentary bottled water, tea bags, and even a universal adapter, which was very convenient. Cleanliness: The room was clean and hygienic, very satisfying. Environment: Clean and comfortable. Service: A big shout-out to the front desk lady! She was so nice and upgraded our room when she saw I was with two small children. Other staff members also greeted us whenever they saw us.

Pros: The hotel's exterior decoration is nice, and there's a 7-Eleven and McDonald's downstairs. It's also close to Sai Ying Pun MTR station. Cons: There were some minor stains on the bed sheets, the shower gel dispenser wasn't securely fixed, and we had to wait a long time for the elevator.

Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|2.53km from city center
This time, it's a 5-star review for value for money! First off, the staff's attitude was excellent, with no differential treatment, a world of difference from my business trips here over a decade ago. Two things really impressed me: when the fridge in our room wasn't cooling, we informed the front desk, and within ten minutes, staff arrived with a new fridge to replace it. They were incredibly responsive to guest needs. The other thing was one night at 10 PM, a floor tile outdoors was cracked by a car. When we returned, we saw management and workers still repairing it at that late hour, and by the next morning, it was completely fixed. These details really showed the hotel's proactive attitude. The location is also very convenient, with Metro N5 being the closest. However, this exit doesn't have an elevator, so I recommend using the iSquare exit. It has an elevator, and you can grab some food and drinks there before entering via the Nathan Road entrance. The pool is also great for both adults and kids. It's open from 9 AM to 6 PM, which is a bit short; I hope they can improve that. The hygiene on the 12th floor is also good, and the bathrooms have renovated shower stalls. I would recommend it and consider staying again.

Sha Tin Hong Kong|8.21km from city center
Whenever I'm in Sha Tin, I stay at ALVA HOTEL BY AKOYA. This time, I had a long-term stay, about a month. **Facilities:** Relatively new, not as old as other hotels in the same price range. **Environment:** For Hong Kong, the room is quite spacious, and the layout is comfortable. **Hygiene:** Daily cleaning is prompt and thorough, and amenities are replaced frequently. **Service:** The hotel management is strict, and overall it's pretty good. The female staff at the front desk are gentle and friendly, but some male staff can be arrogant and overbearing, speaking unpleasantly and giving off an 'if you don't like it, don't stay' vibe, which is off-putting.

The location is fantastic, right next to Tin Hau, in a very local neighborhood. It's quiet but not isolated, and if my booking hadn't been non-refundable, I would have definitely extended my stay. There are great food options nearby, like Wah So's Clear Broth Beef Brisket and the Black Sesame Ice Cream from Warm Heart Cheese. The service attitude, from the lobby to the doorman, was very kind and friendly. The room was small but had everything you needed. The bed was a bit short though, my 170cm kid's feet were hanging off the end! But overall, it was a good stay.

Location: About a 5-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR station, with excellent bus connections, making transportation quite convenient. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. Service: The front desk and room service staff were very kind and patient during check-in. When I called the front desk from my room for service, there was no discrimination against Mandarin speakers. The complimentary bottled water was a huge plus, especially on such a hot day. Cleanliness: The interior of the guest room and the hotel lobby were clean and well-maintained. The cleaning staff were also very nice. Facilities: Oh, the Wi-Fi in the room was a bit elusive with a poor signal. However, the air conditioning was very powerful, and the bedding was fantastic. I had a very comfortable stay in my king-size room. Overall, for 700 a night, it's an absolute steal at this price point. If you plan on exploring Hong Kong Island extensively and prefer a quiet, hassle-free stay, this is a no-brainer.

Location 10/10. Right in the city center, everything is within walking distance – K11, the pier, cafes, and shops. Check-in can be slow, leading to queues due to the high volume of guests. The location is excellent, and the hotel is clean and hygienic. We chose a quad room for two adults and two children. It's within walking distance to Victoria Harbour and major shopping malls in Tsim Sha Tsui. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. Most importantly, it's just a few minutes' walk to the high-speed rail station. All the staff, including the front desk and luggage storage personnel, were warm and courteous. This was my first time in Hong Kong, and my biggest concern about discrimination was unfounded. When I asked about the MTR, the staff patiently and enthusiastically explained how to transfer for a long time. On the MTR, local elders and children offered us seats, and the elders chatted with my child throughout the journey, although my child didn't quite understand everything they said. Everyone we encountered, from restaurant staff to those at Kai Tak for the football match, was incredibly friendly. We didn't experience any of the negative situations mentioned online. It was a very enjoyable trip.

We were a group of four and booked two rooms for three nights. The hotel assigned us rooms 2409 and 2413. Honestly, the hotel's location is great, very close to the subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. However, room 2413 was never cleaned and was incredibly noisy. We could hear singing, conversations, and even doors opening and closing next door. It was a really poor experience. Picture three shows room 2409, which was fine and cleaned daily. HongKong International Airport Hong Kong|24.16km from city center
❤️ Super convenient! This is my favorite hotel in Hong Kong. All the front desk staff I encountered were warm and polite! The service attitude was excellent. Special thanks to the two concierge staff members who helped me with my luggage, resolved issues like the vending machine getting stuck, and to Jet for patiently helping me print documents! They added so much warmth to my tiring international trip. 💙 As a solo female traveler with three 30kg suitcases, this was an incredibly valuable choice for me! I didn't have to take my luggage off the airport trolley at all, and could even push it directly to my hotel room! 🏨 Although the facilities and decor are a bit dated, the design is well-thought-out, with a large workspace! There were few hidden dirty corners, and overall, compared to other hotels in Hong Kong at a similar price point, it was very clean and hygienic, and the bedding was comfortable! The only minor drawbacks were a musty smell indoors, air conditioning that couldn't be adjusted, and some mold marks on the bed frame. However, the service and location are impeccable, offering excellent value for money compared to other hotels near the airport!

The room size is acceptable; for Hong Kong, it's pretty good, as I'm used to smaller spaces here. The power outlets were at the foot of the bed, and I initially thought there was only one, but then I found a whole strip on the desk, hidden behind a panel. Remember to bring your own universal adapter. The air conditioning was a bit noisy. Also, bring your own toothbrush; I didn't see any provided. I'm sure the front desk would supply one if asked, but they were quite busy (though their service was excellent and very friendly), and since I had my own, I didn't bother asking about toothpaste and toothbrushes. The hairdryer looked unassuming but dried my hair surprisingly fast. The location is super close to a bus stop, and there's a 7-Eleven downstairs. This has been my go-to hotel in Hong Kong for years. It's located inside The Mira Place shopping mall on Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, less than a 10-minute walk to Harbour City, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The hotel entrance is a bit hidden, but as soon as you approach, someone will open the door for you. Even at 3 PM, you might not get a clean room right away, which shows how popular it is. The only thing missing is a bit of warmth in the service. The rooms come with complimentary bottled water, though they're a bit stingy with tissues. Aside from the pillows being just okay, everything else is quite comfortable. If you're an early riser, you can head down to B3 for the gym and pool. The facilities are very well-maintained.

There are also plenty of dining options near the hotel. In short, it's all about convenience! Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|2.78km from city center
I specifically chose to stay at the Rosewood Hong Kong, a benchmark for luxury hotels in the city, and overall, it met my expectations, with only a minor disappointment regarding the bathrobe. The room layout was spacious and bright, with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of the complete Victoria Harbour skyline. The daytime scene of blue seas and boats, and the nighttime spectacle of countless city lights, each had their own unique charm. The entire room featured high-quality wood furnishings and plaid soft decor. The walk-in closet offered ample storage, and the dual showers and scenic bathtub were top-notch. Amenities like toiletries, TWG tea sets, and Nespresso coffee machines were thoughtfully provided. The turndown service each evening included an aromatherapy scent and a small snack, showing exceptional attentiveness. Service was consistently excellent throughout my stay. The concierge and butler were friendly, professional, and promptly responded to any requests. Breakfast offered both buffet and à la carte options, with high-quality Hong Kong-style Nissin Demae Itcho, desserts, and fresh fruits. The high-altitude infinity pool directly overlooks the sea; it was quiet and uncrowded, making for a perfectly relaxing swim. Direct access to K11 Musea downstairs made shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The only minor flaw was the quality of the bathrobes in the room. The fabric felt rather thin, lacking the softness and plushness found in bathrobes at other luxury hotels in the same category. This was a stark contrast to the otherwise exquisite and luxurious amenities in the room. The experience would be even more perfect if the bathrobe material were upgraded. Overall, the minor imperfection doesn't overshadow the many positives. It remains a must-stay hotel for sea views in Hong Kong, and I would definitely choose it again on my next visit.

Opted for the Regal Riverside Hotel in Hong Kong again, it's a great value-for-money hotel in the city. **Location:** Situated right next to Sha Tin town center, with direct airport bus access, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are plenty of beauty stores, convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby, offering a wide array of dining options. My room had a stunning view of Shing Mun River, with mountains and water – a picturesque landscape that was absolutely beautiful. **Facilities:** This time I stayed in a single king-sized bed room. It's much smaller than the twin-bed room I had before, but for a solo traveler staying one night, it was just right. The facilities were quite complete. **Service:** They offer luggage storage both before check-in and after check-out, which is very helpful. However, check-in is strictly after 3 PM, and early check-in is not permitted, so you need to time your arrival accordingly. The hotel's location is quite convenient. Although it's not close to a subway station, there's a shuttle bus service between Tsim Sha Tsui and the hotel. I saw on the official website that it also goes to Tsing Yi, but I'm not sure if that's true as the hotel staff didn't mention it. Right after checking in and getting to the room, I found a few hairs in the bathroom, suggesting it might not have been cleaned properly. However, considering the value for money, I'm still quite satisfied. I'm looking forward to the hotel's response! Also, I'd like to ask if it's possible to book the shuttle bus by phone? It's been years since I last visited Hong Kong, so I decided to check out Victoria Harbour and chose The Langham nearby. The lobby's fragrance was absolutely lovely, so much so that I went to the front desk to ask if they sold it. To my surprise, the front desk staff simply gave it to me! Perhaps they recognized me from a small issue during check-in. Overall, the service was excellent, and their recovery efforts after a problem were outstanding. The concierge staff were all very enthusiastic. When I left, I tipped them, and on the way to the airport, the taxi driver told me that the hotel's concierge had contacted him via radio, asking him to inquire if I had made a mistake with the tip. If so, they wanted the driver to return it to me. I told him no, I can definitely differentiate between two zeros and three zeros; their service absolutely deserved the large denomination. Just for the genuine sincerity of the staff, I highly recommend this hotel. I'll definitely be back next time. Hong Kong hotels are known for being expensive and small, so for this location and price, it's actually quite a good deal, offering decent value for money. The only downside was the cleanliness; I had to clean up a bit on the first day, especially the toilet which had a lot of stains. It might be a new regulation in Hong Kong not to provide disposable toiletries, as I saw a notice when booking, so we brought our own toothbrushes and toothpaste. The location is between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, though it wasn't for our specific destinations. On Hong Kong Island, we usually head to Hennessy Road to catch the tram, which can take you to Central, Sheung Wan, and Sai Wan. For Kowloon, the Wan Chai and Causeway Bay MTR stations are nearby. You can also walk ten to fifteen minutes to take the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui. For the airport or the Hong Kong Port of the HZMB, the A11 bus stop is a ten-minute walk away. Coming from the airport or HZMB Hong Kong Port, the A11 stops on Hennessy Road at D'Aguilar Street, and it's a five-minute walk to the hotel. SOGO, Times Square, Hang Lung, and several other malls are all within a ten-minute walk, and there are plenty of food options nearby. Overall, it's quite convenient.
