Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|2.67km from city center
Location is excellent given it is connected to the shopping mall so no impact rain or shine but there seems to be no designated car pick up or drop off point and empty taxis (those only willing to go to airport!) are always occupying the area right in front of the main entrance on Canton Road thus making the rest of the people trying to get rides very dangerous as our cars will have to double park and let us get on in the middle of the road!
The hotel is an old hotel but recently renovated so although decor and furnitures show its age, it’s still quite functional, even for those with wheelchairs. Room is spacious and bathroom has both bath tub and shower but the toilet flushing is a bit slow.
Hotel was kind enough to upgrade our suite to the executive floor and we were met by very professional and friendly staff there. When we asked for a shower chair for my mom who uses a wheelchair, they promptly provided one!
Special thanks to all the personnel on the executive floor who were helpful and attentive, as well as to the Concierge team who assisted us with our freezer storage requests!
Our overall experience at the hotel has been great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!From€110

We checked in earlier but they still need us to wait till 3 pm and it wasn’t on time , I mean the room wasn’t ready yet . As I have booked it in trip . Com and the lady receptionist said she can’t find my booking and Imseh need so much time to check my booking . Ok and I have told her I am celebrating my birthday and I need to take photo in the room and celebrate so see if she can upgrade me . I was happy she did and it was 10th floor . The view from the room was good and I took lots of birthday photos . The pool was great and relaxing. The staff was friendly and polite . The sauna was good too . I will try it again for sure .From€81

Facilities: The room was well-maintained, and the bedding was very comfortable.
Cleanliness: The housekeeping staff cleaned the room meticulously every day, and there was even a supervisor checking their work, which made me feel very secure and at ease.
Service: VINOD, the Indian manager at the breakfast restaurant, truly provided five-star service; I felt completely at home.
Executive Lounge Privileges: The food, drinks, and service were all excellent.
Environment: The location is incredibly convenient, directly connected to Mong Kok Station and the adjacent shopping mall. It's super easy to get around. If I'm in this area again, I'll definitely choose to stay here.From€109

Mong Kok Hong Kong|0.73km from city center
The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. It's right outside Mong Kok East station. From the airport, you can take bus A21 for five stops, get off at Metropark Hotel Mongkok, and it's about a ten-minute walk from there. If you need to go to Futian Port, it's also very convenient; just take the train from Mong Kok East straight to Lok Ma Chau without changing lines. The hotel has many rooms, but the soundproofing is good, so it's quite quiet. The staff are all very efficient. I felt the fridge in my room wasn't cold enough, so I immediately called engineering, and they came to check it out. They tested the cooling, and it was fine. Later, I left drinks in the fridge overnight to test it myself, and it was indeed working perfectly. Housekeeping also kindly brought me an ice bucket, which I really appreciated.From€93

I visit Hong Kong a few times a year and almost always choose to stay at the Regal Hong Kong Hotel. Its location is great, not far from SOGO, which is convenient for shopping. The staff are also very friendly, and the buffet is good. However, the hotel facilities are a bit old-fashioned, and there's a lot of glass, which affected my sleep. Also, the soundproofing in the rooms isn't great, as I could hear other guests arguing in the middle of the night.From€76

Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|1.89km from city center
For this location in Hong Kong, I'm quite satisfied with the price. Although it's a bit small, that's understandable given how expensive space is here. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. It's super convenient, just a five-minute walk from Jordan MTR station, and it was cleaner and tidier than I expected. It has a fridge and a freezer, but the power outlets weren't compatible with my own plugs.From€34

Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|2.23km from city center
We checked in at the hotel and expected the room to feel clean and comfortable. However, we were met by a room that didn't feel very clean. The wallpaper on the looked a bit loose in the seems, color was coming off on the edge of the ceilings and the carpet on the floor had some visible dark spots/stains. The bathroom floor also had dark stains/spots and the shower was pretty hard to operate as it was a bit difficult to turn off. The bathroom sink seemed a little clogged as water ran down very slowly. We also noticed some hairs on the floor of the bedroom that wasn't ours.
We were three people sharing a room and it got a little cramped. Two is better to not feel like it's too small. We paid around ~1020 HKD per night for the room which felt a bit expensive considering the condition the room was in.
The location was great though and the staff was nice. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the metro and travelling around the city is easy. It is also close to restaurants, shopping and convenience stores.
I would recommend staying here if you don't mind your room potentially being a little bit unclean or at least feel that way.From€34

Upon check-in, the front desk informed us that the hotel's upper floors were undergoing renovations, and to let them know if we encountered any issues. Our 4-day stay was pretty good. We were on the 15th floor, and when we left around 10 AM, we barely heard any noise from the room. The room itself was decent, spacious enough to fully open two 28-inch suitcases. The hotel's location is also very convenient; you can get here from the airport by taking bus A21/A22 or the MTR. It's about a 10-minute walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station to the hotel. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining options like Lin Heung Tea House, Yung Kee Roast Goose, Chung So Dessert, Wa So Cafe, an egg tart shop, and Haidilao. For shopping, there's Matsumoto Kiyoshi, Don Quijote, 7-11, and Wellcome Supermarket. The street right outside the hotel is Kimberley Road, and our driver told us this area is Hong Kong's 'Korean Street,' so you'll find lots of Korean restaurants around! Alright! #TsimShaTsui #TsimShaTsuiHotel ##GreatValueHotel #TravelBug #YungKeeRoastGoose #LinHeungTeaHouse #WaSoCafe #Hashtag #ChibiMarukoChan – On the first floor of The One shopping mall next to the hotel, there's even a Chibi Maruko-chan birthday celebration event with merchandise for sale!From€45

Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|2.11km from city center
1. The room was better than I expected. I was a bit worried about the cleanliness at this price point in Hong Kong, but I felt much more at ease after arriving. The overall hygiene was good, and they even provided a wooden toothbrush, though I brought my own and didn't need it.
2. The front desk staff and the person handling luggage were very friendly. I locked my room card inside the room, and they helped me resolve it. They even gave me some chocolates afterwards.
3. The room is indeed much smaller compared to Guangzhou, so be prepared for that. However, I was only staying for one night, so it was acceptable.
4. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation. To get to the high-speed rail station, you can walk to Tsim Sha Tsui East Station and take the MTR to Austin. It's also very convenient for getting to Central or other places.
5. Areas for improvement:
- I kept pressing the elevator floor button with no response. It turns out you need to swipe your card first. I suggest they put up a sign with instructions.
- I thought there was no hairdryer, so I didn't wash my hair. Only the next day did I find it in a cabinet outside the bathroom. I suggest placing it in a more visible spot in the bathroom (e.g., above where the toiletries are).From€50

Had a great stay at Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong. The location was super convenient — right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui with easy access to the MTR, shopping, and plenty of food options nearby.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast had a good variety and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable.

Back in Hong Kong for an exhibition, I also decided to get new glasses. The ALVA Hotel by Royal is still the most convenient choice. It's not far from the Cultural Museum, and you can take the MTR directly to the Art Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui East, so it's easy to catch two exhibitions! Absolutely perfect. Plus, I did some shopping at New Town Plaza in Sha Tin, which has everything you could need! The price is reasonable, and the rooms are quite spacious. This time, I booked a room including breakfast, and it was quite plentiful. I'd recommend it.From€57

Wan Chai and Causeway Bay Hong Kong|4.45km from city center
The location was pretty good, with easy access to transport, restaurants, shops, and banks – everything you could need, which was great. The room was also reasonably clean, and the service was excellent. I'm not sure if I misheard, but the front desk guy at check-in said he'd upgraded us to a higher floor. Soon after, a cleaning lady even brought us a large bottle of water. However, when I asked her to send up breakfast, as I was told I could, she said sorry. The bathroom door didn't close properly and was tiny, really tiny. The hairdryer was useless; you could barely feel any air, so definitely bring your own next time. My main complaint, which seems to be a common issue, was the connecting door between our two rooms. It didn't open and provided zero sound insulation. We could hear everything our neighbors said and did as if we were right there with them. If you're a light sleeper, be sure to ask about this beforehand. Otherwise, everything else was satisfactory.From€37

The location is very convenient and the neighborhood is also great. Not too busy and there is some foot traffic late into the night which as a female solo traveler was great. I checked in late (around 1am) and there was someone available at the front desk. I didn't have to wait. I was upgraded to a room with a bigger bed which was appreciated. The room itself was clean and spacious enough. During check-in I was told that there is construction happening during the day and it can get loud. But I wasn't at the hotel during the day so didn't notice it. One of the most convenient things for me was that across the hotel there is a 24 hr self service laundromat. It has instructions in english and uses the octopus card for payment. So on the last day of my trip I was able to wash and dry my clothes before they got back in the suitcase. Overall I would recommend staying at this hotel!From€37

Great location for travelers! Bus stations, MTR station, good restaurants, supermarket, etc are just at a walkable distance. The best thing is that they are all located indoors and people can go to those places without an umbrella even in a rainy day. My hotel room was clean and spacious and has a wonderful view! It has 50m swimming pool too! I would recommend staying in the hotel if travelers want to go to mainland China for a few days and come back to Hong Kong. They provide a free luggage storage for a week for their customers. But they will charge a HK$10 per day per luggage fee after one week.From€67

The shower curtain in the bathroom needs attention to hygiene. It's not a wet/dry separation which isn't ideal for seniors or children. However, for a Hong Kong hotel, the space is quite large, and there's a pool. The beds, though, definitely need an upgrade. All toiletries have to be purchased, which I assume is for environmental reasons or perhaps because they host a lot of tour groups. Overall, the service attitude is pretty good.From€44

One of my favorite budget hotels I've ever tried and so far favorite budget hotel in Hong Kong. Important feature mold level is way lower than many hotels in HK. I stayed for about 9 nights and did not feel yucky, however can't say the same for other budget hotels in HK ans Guangdong. Our family had an unforgettable stay at the Kowloon Shangri-La! From the moment we arrived, the level of hospitality was exceptional. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for our family. We were impressed by the stunning views of Victoria Harbour and the cleanliness and comfort of the entire suite. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there were thoughtful touches like extra pillows and blankets for the kids, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel offered a range of kid-friendly amenities, including an indoor pool where our children had a blast. We also appreciated the hotel’s convenient location, with easy access to the MTR and being so close to many attractions, including the vibrant Tsim Sha Tsui district.
