Excellent service, from check in , breakfast, BBQ preparation, hot bath tub and any requests. Beautiful scenery, the sheep at Renest is the most favourite part for children.

Great hotel. Nice onsen facilities with a choice of rooftop location or ground floor nature garden location. The details that this hotel offers is exceptional compared to two other ones I have attended so far. The two stringed friddle with piano show at night was an extra bonus. Bottom line we love this hotel.

We stayed overnight with a friend. It's a wonderful ryokan, the staff is very polite and helpful, great bath is beautiful, kaiseki dinner was very intricate and delicious, and room are large and beautiful with a stunning view of Arima. We were absolutely delighted with our stay and have already recommended it to friends. 🥴

Travel with family- kids and parents. The location is excellent, right next to the bus stop ( 1 min. Walk). easy to get around the little shopping street without much walking. 711 is right cross the street from the hotel. Staff are nice here, and helpful. The hot springs are good enough. Nothing fancy, not too big. Three hot springs - gold, silver. One outdoor hot spring. There are some activities - music, and performance during the night right next to the hotel. The hotel is next to the road, but you can’t hear anything outside. Very quiet and relaxing. Overall, good price for what you get.

Our stay in this hotel was great! I wish we stayed here longer than one evening. Our traditional Japanese room was very spacious and had two separate toilet rooms attached as well as a bathroom. The view from our room was amazing! And sitting area before the huge windows even had a massage chair and a vanity. The shoji doors showed some signs of wear but everything were very clean. Our kaiseki dinner was spectacular and incredibly tasty. But I wish there were some instructions for foreigners how to enjoy it properly. Our server didn't speak English and we didn't speak Japanese so there was a minor misunderstanding but everything was resolved 😅 I'm definitely a fan of such kind of a meal now! We visited all the hot springs that are available in this hotel and it's sister hotel across the river. I liked the silver indoor spring in our hotel and gold outdoor spring in sister-hotel the most. Hot springs are closed after 24:00. And open from 6:00 to 9:00 nest morning. Unfortunately they are closed from 9:00 to 12:00(check out time) which make it impossible to enjoy them in the morning for those who prefer to sleep in(( Would definitely reccommend the stay for relaxing and luxurious experience.

You will love this hotel. When we arrive a hotel by car. The staff will help you parking and take off the luggage to your room. Everything in hotel is perfect the room with onsen is very nice. The location very good if you stay this hotel you can walking to village area so easy We suggest you to booking room including dining with on chef’s table

First off, this location is a bit out of the way, if you intend to stay close to the downtown...you have to take the ”Portliner” a few stops. No issue for me, but did not realize this when I booked. I chose it because of the onsen / sauna, and I was very satisfied: this was the best sauna / cold tub I had in Japan (so far). Was hotter (and colder) than anything else. The actual hot-tub was good too, but I focus on sauna ＞ cold tub cycles more than anything. Rooms are new and look good, if not a bit small. As expected. Stay for a night if you are on the fence...use the onsen...have a coffee-milk afterwards. You'll feel great. Rooftoop bar / restaurant was nice as well and very friendly staff!

I was quite nervous to stay at this place at first, because the reviews on Google Map are quite mixed. But the moment we arrived at the place, everything was all good! We came with a car, and the staff kindly guided us where to park it. Just need to be alert, for those wo are planning to come with car, please confirm with the host about the availability of parking spaces. Our room was very nice and clean, it’s also very picturesque! Got microwave , IH kitchen, bbq equipment etc. Had a good time staying there. The place also is right next to Starbucks and a sushi place. Recommended !
