Beijing Hotels with Infinity Pools

"We booked a family room and arrived at 11 AM. I thought I'd try asking if we could check in early, and to my pleasant surprise, the gentleman at the front desk enthusiastically arranged it for us. Many thanks! 🙏 Facilities: The family room was fully equipped, with two double beds, a kitchen, and a dining area – all complete. However, the overall feel of the room leaned more towards a guesthouse. (Though I'm not sure why the TV wasn't facing the beds?) The rooftop pool, while not large, offered stunning views and had a lifeguard, so I felt comfortable letting my child swim independently. Environment: The hotel's location is convenient, about a 10-minute walk from both Jianguomen and Chaoyangmen subway stations. There are many attractions nearby, like Ritan Park, and plenty of shopping centers. The hotel had a lot of international guests and was relatively quiet. Upon checkout, the lady at the front desk thoughtfully gave my child a small gift. I would definitely consider staying here again."

"After comparing several hotels in the same price range, I chose Zǐlóng Gardens. I'd also looked at their usual rates, and it seemed a bit pricier then, but booking it in advance for a holiday trip was definitely a steal. **Stay:** For the same price, other places offer rooms under 30 square meters, but Zǐlóng Gardens gives you 50 square meters. It's nestled in a hutong, offering a quiet escape in the midst of the bustling city. It's actually the former residence of Prince Taò, who was an advisor to the People's Liberation Army's equestrian administration. We opted for the family room, which even had a small balcony with a view. The room had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom, so washing up wasn't cramped at all. **Food:** The mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks (mineral water, Coke, Sprite, beer), and they'd replenish it anytime. Although the restaurant isn't huge, the food is incredibly fresh, with different dishes every day. I initially thought breakfast wasn't included, but it turned out to be free! From 11 AM to 11 PM, they offer afternoon tea with chef-prepared dishes like wontons and Zhajiangmian, all completely free of charge. You can even take fruit back to your room. The 'Sìyuè Hétún' restaurant on the first floor also had good prices and flavors; no reservations needed for their fugu or roast duck. **Getting Around:** It's very close to Nanluoguxiang, the National Art Museum of China, Wangfujing, and Longfu Temple. The subway station is about a 10-minute walk, but I mostly used taxis, which made getting around super convenient. **Service:** The hotel staff's service was impeccable. Finally, although check-out was officially at 12 PM, they were fine with us leaving at 2 PM, and even gave us a farewell gift. Overall, it was a truly satisfying stay. Our 5-day, 4-night trip during Chinese New Year was a fantastic family experience and definitely enhanced our vacation."

"My stay here far exceeded expectations, definitely a five-star review! The room was incredibly well-equipped and smart, with soft, comfortable bedding. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation and even a smart toilet – great attention to detail. It was spotlessly clean, showing how much effort the owner puts in. From the large window, you get a beautiful, layered view of the Water Town. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Water Town entrance, and super convenient for visiting the Simatai Great Wall. At night, you can even see the Great Wall lit up, which is absolutely stunning. The owner's service was exceptional; they contacted me beforehand to share a guide, offered pick-up and drop-off, helped with luggage, and their food recommendations were spot on. All in all, whether it was the accommodation itself or exploring the surroundings, the experience was perfect. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit. I just forgot to take photos of the room, but rest assured, you won't be disappointed."

"This stay was beyond my expectations! I have to give it a lot of praise! First, the service. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive throughout, responsive to every request and very considerate, making it feel incredibly comfortable. Next, the environment. The views are truly unique, especially the close-up view of the Great Wall. The majestic spectacle from a high vantage point is truly breathtaking! Every photo is a masterpiece! The cleanliness was impeccable. The room and common areas were spotlessly clean, and every detail was meticulously thought out, making for a truly reassuring stay. The amenities are also comprehensive, with nearly every daily necessity readily available. It's easy to use and worry-free. In short, whether you're looking to relax or specifically visit the Great Wall, this is a perfect place. I highly recommend it!"

"The owner is incredibly kind! They heated up breakfast for me if I woke up late, and even gave me freshly roasted chestnuts 🌰 They treated me like family, saying they felt like I was at home (referring to the guesthouse) 😻 The guesthouse environment is great; I recommend booking one with a private hot spring! The leaves are beautifully turning yellow and red this time of year, and you can also go skiing in winter. It's very convenient to get around, and the location is easy to reach by taxi. The guesthouse has its own private karaoke room, mahjong table, and billiards table 🎱 – plenty of entertainment! ☺️"

"Parking was convenient. The room was huge with two large beds, easily accommodating two adults and two children without feeling cramped. It's a new hotel, opened last year, so all the room facilities are new and very clean. The room was wonderfully warm, and the shower had great water pressure and heated up quickly. We were treated to an exquisite afternoon tea. Both lunch and dinner could be enjoyed at the in-house hot pot restaurant, which offered excellent quality and taste. The hot tub in the stargazing room was also quite spacious. The service was excellent, warm, and attentive. Just a small suggestion: it would be great to have a small, open-top trash can next to the sink, even a small one, for easily disposing of tissues, floss, face masks, and other toiletries. Overall, highly recommended."

"The St. Regis Beijing truly lives up to its reputation as a classic luxury brand. What impressed me most during this stay, beyond the hotel's quality itself, was the exceptionally thoughtful service. I have to give a special shout-out to the two butlers, William and Brandon! 👍 From the moment I checked in, I felt their incredible attentiveness. The butlers were professional, meticulous, gentle, and efficient. Upon learning I was pregnant, they thoughtfully placed non-slip mats in the room and arranged a suitable room type. They even sent milk and cookies to the room, truly demonstrating what St. Regis butler service is all about. My entire stay was reassuring and comfortable; I felt incredibly well looked after, and the experience was just outstanding. The hotel boasts an excellent location, elegant ambiance, comfortable rooms, and well-maintained facilities. The overall atmosphere is understated yet luxurious. Next time I'm in Beijing, The St. Regis Beijing will still be my top choice. Highly recommended!"

"We discovered Xiaojiangnan, a fantastic family-friendly guesthouse, during our two-day trip to Shidu with our kids! The themed children's rooms instantly won them over, keeping them happy all day. The guesthouse has an outdoor swimming pool where they can play, and the surrounding mountain environment is fresh and the air is incredibly clean. The rooms are clean and tidy, with complete facilities, including a private indoor hot spring bath – perfect for relaxing after a long day of play. The breakfast is nutritious and plentiful, and the owner is incredibly thoughtful, proactively providing information on nearby routes for families with children. It's also very close to rafting and scenic spots, making travel hassle-free. The courtyard is quiet and safe, allowing children to run around freely. Highly recommended for families with children!"

"It was great! Tucked away at the very back, it was really quiet. You could see the greenery outside from both the shower and the bathtub. We went hiking on the Great Wall in the afternoon, and when we came back, we saw both the moon and the sunset from the terrace – moon on the left, sun on the right. The master bedroom and living room both had TVs, quite large ones, which was convenient for casting shows at night."

"This is an absolutely grand old five-star hotel. Even though it's been around for a while, it's very well-maintained, and the feeling of being up in the clouds is wonderful. The lady at the front desk who checked us in was beautiful, her service was warm, and she worked very efficiently. I forgot to check her name tag, but she deserves a commendation. I specifically went for my birthday, and the hotel specially decorated the room and even sent a birthday cake. This made for a truly pleasant birthday, and I thank the hotel. If I had to nitpick, the room window was a bit dirty, making photos unclear. Also, the toilet was a semi-automatic smart toilet, requiring me to bend down to manually flush it. This time, I also happened to catch the hotel cleaning the pool, so I couldn't swim, which was a bit of a shame."
