Hotel near Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen,Beijing
Welcome to the exquisite creation of Huajiantang, a brand under Huazhu Group. The hotel is located in the heart of Beijing's political and cultural center, on the southern part of the city's central axis, south of the cultural landmark, the Temple of Heaven. It is rich in the historical heritage of the Ming and Qing imperial roads and is home to 16 century-old brands such as Liubiju and Neiliansheng, forming a unique business model of "traditional time-honored brands vs. international fast fashion", for instance, Ruifuxiang is next to H&M, presenting both historical charm and youthful vitality. The hotel embodies the secluded aesthetics of imperial gardens with the concept of "Great Seclusion in the Palace": creating a residence "hidden in the imperial city" around the Forbidden City, allowing guests to experience the "leisure of emperors" rather than the standardized services of traditional hotels. "The Back Garden of the Forbidden City": drawing inspiration from the Imperial Garden and Qianlong's study, it creates an elegant living scene of "court scholars". The Forbidden City represents "solemnity", while Huajuntang excels in "lightness" - the combination of the two enables guests to touch history in a more relaxed way, beyond mere sightseeing and photo-taking. "A contemporary scholar's residence that brings the Forbidden City down from its pedestal."

"I've stayed at other HUAJIAN TANG hotels before in Guizhou, Yunnan, and Shanghai, and they all had that charming old courtyard style. This time I chose the Beijing location, and honestly, it felt pretty much like any other budget hotel. Plus, it's located in an alleyway, so cars can't park directly in front, which made lugging our bags around a real hassle. If it's your first time, you might even struggle to find it. Breakfast was convenient, but the selection was quite limited – just a small spread, and I left feeling hungry. On the bright side, the front desk service was excellent. They offered complimentary strawberries, but unfortunately, they were very sour and not good at all."

"Satisfied, satisfied, satisfied, because important things should be said three times! Bringing my family to Beijing this time and choosing this hotel was truly the smartest decision! I don't think I need to elaborate too much on the hardware; as a Wanda property and being newly opened just 25 years ago, it definitely met my expectations. What I really want to emphasize is that the service level of the hotel staff truly exceeded my expectations. Whether it was the front desk or the cleaning aunties, their attitudes were incredibly warm and welcoming. This warmth felt genuinely heartfelt, not just superficial politeness. It truly embodied the feeling of 'a home away from home.' No wonder there are so many foreign tourists at this hotel; foreigners really value good service. A big thank you again to Bella & Alisa at the front desk for their professional service. I will definitely choose your hotel again next time I'm in Beijing! ❤️"

Hotel near Universal Beijing Resort and Sorrounding,Beijing
"I spent a long time choosing this room, and after checking in, I truly felt like I made the right choice 🥰🥰. The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic; when I checked in and saw a crowd, they guided me to an adjacent counter to process my check-in 🫰. The hotel facilities are relatively new and all feature smart technology. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and it's spacious with two sinks. The faucet water flow is very quiet, with no strange noises. The room design is excellent and the layout is well-planned, with thoughtful touches everywhere 😘😘. Coffee and tea are neatly arranged in separate drawers, and there's even a mini-bar cart. I highly recommend it. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Universal Studios, and you can even see Harry Potter from the hotel."

"I was a bit worried before checking in because of some negative reviews online, but it completely exceeded my expectations! Upon arrival, I was immediately upgraded to a family room for free. The room was clean throughout my three-day stay, and the soundproofing was excellent. The facilities were new, and the smart toilet and the Xiao Du smart assistant, which controlled everything, were incredibly convenient and a nice touch. Every morning, I'd ask the lovely staff at the front desk to make me a coffee to go, and the room also had Peet's coffee, both of which were delicious. My room didn't have a window, but the air quality was consistently good, and the air conditioning was completely silent. The bed was comfortable. It met all my requirements for safety, hygiene, facilities, soundproofing, and service. The breakfast was simple but sufficient. For just over 2,000 RMB for three nights including breakfast, it's incredibly good value for money in Beijing and definitely worth recommending."

Hotel near Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen,Beijing
"The room was clean and they upgraded us to a twin room with two double beds, which was perfect for our family of three. It's very close to Tiananmen Square, making it convenient to get anywhere. The subway isn't far either, just a three to five-minute walk. It's also easy to get to Qianmen Street, about a ten-minute walk. Plus, it's quite close to the Tiananmen security checkpoint (gate 4). They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out, which was a really thoughtful touch! We left in such a rush that I didn't get any photos."

Hotel near Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing
The original location of the hotel, Yueweizhuang, was one of Mr. Ji Xiaolan's residences in Beijing in his later years, and it was also an important place for him to create "Notes on Yuewei Caotang". Adjacent to the Forbidden City, Wangfujing Business Circle and along Chang'an Street, it can walk to cultural landmarks such as Nanluoguxiang. The subway hub is close at hand, which embraces the prosperity and tranquility of the ancient capital. Inheriting the orthodox regulation of the Beijing school courtyard, the courtyard retains the traditional architectural structure of the old Beijing courtyard with a central axis symmetry pattern. The gray tiles, blue bricks, carved beams and painted buildings still hide the charm of the ancient house. At the same time, it integrates cultural display elements, continues the cultural memory of the old Beijing courtyard, and allows guests to immerse themselves in the feelings of the old Beijing courtyard. And the cultural style. The hotel is transformed from two hundred-year-old courtyards, with a total of 59 elegant guest rooms, ranging from 35 square meters to 200 square meters. It is a rare courtyard private bath resort in Beijing. Create a variety of room types to adapt to different travel needs. The exclusive butler will follow up the whole process 24 hours a day, from check-in courtesy, itinerary customization to catering private banquets, and provide one-on-one exclusive services. The hotel was built with fine investment, and every detail was carefully carved, focusing on building three characteristic public areas: · The cultural corridor displays the life imprints of literati in the Qing Dynasty and the historical and cultural materials of Dongcheng, so that Chinese and foreign guests can immerse themselves in the cultural heritage of the ancient capital; · Rooftop viewing cafe, you can enjoy the staggered scenery of the blue bricks and gray tiles in the courtyard; · The traditional Chinese medicine massage spa hall hires a famous non-genetic massage teacher in Beijing to soothe the physical and mental fatigue of travelers in the traditional way of health care. In addition, the hotel is also equipped with a gym, a multi-functional conference room, an elegant tea room, a boutique gift gallery, a restaurant, an executive lounge, a bar, a business box, a laundry room and other facilities to meet the diverse needs of guests in an all-round way. As a luxurious secret place under the roots of the imperial city, it perfectly integrates the thousand-year-of-year courtyard of Beijing with the traditional culture of Beijing, achieving a unique model of travel and residence.

"The most delightful courtyard guesthouse I've ever stayed in Beijing! From the moment I stepped in, I was completely captivated—traditional grey brick walls and red tiles, every corner exuded Beijing's elegant charm. The room itself far exceeded my expectations, with high wooden beam ceilings and contemporary Chinese soft furnishings creating an incredible ambiance. The bedding in the bedroom was so soft, I didn't want to get out of bed! My favorite part was the bathroom, with a huge marble bathtub where I could soak while looking out at the courtyard, feeling completely relaxed. The attention to detail was evident everywhere, and the service was thoughtful yet unobtrusive. It's truly a hidden gem, offering a peaceful escape in the midst of the bustling city. A must-try experience when you visit Beijing!"

Hotel near Xidan and Financial Street Area,Beijing
Reconstructed · Xishi Hutong Retreat. In the past, it once concealed the ancient Ming-dynasty temple — Pu'en Temple, where Buddhist chants wove into the market alleys and incense smoke hid within the lanes. Today, following the trajectory of urban renewal, Reconstructed · Xishi Hutong Retreat has been revitalized on its original site. With contemporary strokes, it continues the fabric of the hutong, weaving the lingering warmth of history into everyday life.

"Small yet beautiful, a Hutong hotel with an oriental Zen vibe! Reconstructing Xishi Hutong Hidden House, Xisi, Xishi – the clever name immediately captivated me. As a southerner, besides my obsession with Beijing's snow, another deep-seated fascination is Beijing's hutongs. Although the hotel is small, it's very comfortable and peaceful to stay in. Room service is also more prompt and attentive. I love sitting by the door, watching the light and shadows shift from morning till dusk; I love looking up at the ”a line of clear blue sky above the hutong” on a clear day; I love climbing the spiral staircase to watch a hutong sunset, from orange hues to blue tones... It's very convenient for shopping in Xidan CBD or taking a Xisi Citywalk. The nearby Line 4 also offers easy access to many of Beijing's iconic landmarks. I look forward to staying at Hutong Hidden House again once the hotel restaurant opens."

"The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate for a family of three. The service overall was excellent. I think the breakfast is even better than what you'd find at a five-star hotel – it's small but exquisite. The late-night congee at 'Zhou Dao' (Congee Way) was simple but delicious and very comforting. Service: The service was generally great. The only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was this: The shampoo and conditioner in our room were almost empty. On the way back to our room, I happened to run into some housekeepers. I asked for two new bottles, and the long-haired auntie readily agreed and, after checking with a supervisor, handed them over. However, another short-haired auntie standing nearby told the long-haired auntie, ”Go into the room and take out the old ones.” Initially, I didn't think much of it – it makes sense, if I want new ones, you take the old ones. But then I inadvertently looked up and saw the short-haired auntie winking at the long-haired auntie and urging her several times to follow me into the room. I understood that she was probably worried I might take the old or new bottles, or perhaps they wanted to take the old ones for themselves. Everything else was excellent – the location, the facilities. And the black tea was really good! The long-haired auntie even gave my child some cookies. Thank you! 🙏"
