The hotel is a bit far from the city center, located between the North 5th and North 6th Ring Roads. It saves some time driving to the Great Wall compared to starting from downtown. It's a very large compound with seven courtyards, featuring water features and beautiful scenery. On the day we checked in, there was a strong wind and a cold front, so it felt chilly, but thankfully the hotel provided heating pads. We used them like hot water bottles when sleeping. Upon check-in, the lovely lady at the front desk helped us upgrade to a family room, which included a tent and some toys. Our child absolutely loved it and said they want to come back again. The bedding was quite comfortable, and the service was excellent; staff members always tried their best to help with any issues. On our departure day, my child left their story machine behind, and the same lovely lady at the front desk promptly informed us. The courtyard also has many small animals like peacocks, mini pigs, and rabbits, and we even saw a baby peacock. It's quite suitable for families.

Service: The butler service was excellent, and you could ask them for any questions. Welcome Fruit and Drinks: The room was stocked with seasonal fruit, and the fruit on the living room table was also edible. Tea Break in the Sunshine Glass Garden: The century-old Qinglinchun jasmine tea was fragrant, and the butler would serve you some fruit or snacks. It was so relaxing to sit on the terrace and enjoy tea.

This guesthouse was absolutely fantastic, much better than a hotel! The room was huge, easily almost 90 square meters. We were given a high-floor, south-facing room, and even with four of us, there was still plenty of space. Right downstairs, there's a specialty commercial street with all sorts of delicious food and fun things to do. I have to give a special shout-out to the butler service. I got an upset stomach in the middle of the night, and since I'm not familiar with the area, the butler personally took me to Chaoyang Hospital. That kind of service truly deserves praise! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

During my stay, I encountered some minor problems, such as the air conditioning temperature adjustment in the room was not very sensitive. When I reported it to the front desk, the maintenance staff rushed to the room quickly, quickly solved the problem, and were friendly and patiently explained to me the possible causes of the problem, which made me feel very at ease. In addition, the hotel's health services are also worthy of praise. Staff will clean the room on time every day, change towels and replenish toiletries. The public areas are also kept in a good state of cleanliness, which makes people feel happy. Overall, I am very satisfied with this stay. This hotel is truly amazing! We visited Mutianyu back in 2016, and at that time, we entered the mountain from outside Mutianyu Village. Booking this hotel this trip made us realize that the entire Mutianyu Village has now been incorporated into the scenic area, and the hotel is located right inside—directly facing the cable car. This means cars heading to the hotel must first enter the village, register with the village, and then register again with the scenic area. My Didi (ride-hailing) driver on the way there was a bit crazy and shared a story about a foreign passenger whose license plate wasn't registered, forcing them to get out and take the shuttle bus up the mountain. Fortunately, I had registered my license plate with the hotel front desk in advance, so the trip there went relatively smoothly. However, leaving the hotel was absolute disaster. Even though I had registered the Didi license plate in advance, the staff down in the village stubbornly refused to let the driver up. We were in a rush to catch a flight, and the front desk phone line kept giving a busy signal. Huge thanks to the kind lady at the hotel restaurant who unblocked the license plate for us via a WeChat group—talk about a close call! To be fair, if you have the chance to properly hike Mutianyu, this hotel is the ultimate choice. We didn't get to finish our hike because we were traveling with kids, but our little ones had an absolute blast at the hotel's play facilities! As for the service and cleanliness, think of it as an upscale farmhouse stay. Given how far it is from the city center, as long as you have a hot shower and a clean bed, what more can you really ask for?

This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is super convenient, close to the subway station and major attractions, with plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in efficient, and even kindly upgraded my room type. The room was spacious and clean, with a modern and cozy decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, good water pressure, and quality toiletries. The soundproofing was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or the street.
