”If you come to Universal Studios, you can't go wrong with this place! The lady boss is so nice! She is warm and considerate, and she took care of us like family from check-in to check-out. The homestay is clean and cozy, and you can grill in the yard. I asked for two breakfasts, and the lady boss specially prepared a small portion of wontons for me because I was with my children. She is a super nice lady boss! I will definitely stay here next time~

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this apartment in central Beijing. The host was incredibly responsive—even replying at 5 AM—and was always quick to resolve any issues or provide anything we needed. Their attentiveness really made a difference.
The apartment itself was very spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. It also offered a beautiful view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

MMarcoPoPoDuring the May Day holiday, there were people everywhere. I just wanted to find a quiet place with less traffic and less people. This place is really a very good choice. It is not far from the Beijing-Weihai Expressway. Facing the mountains, there are two hot springs. The children are happy to play, and I can also listen to music and enjoy the tranquility on the recliner. Next time I go, I should bring barbecue ingredients. The courtyard provides free grills, charcoal and condiments.

TTravelForFreedomA very pleasant stay in a big room at a good location for 2 + 6 nights. All cars that we took could enter the narrow alley except for the first night that we had to walk about 300 metres to the place when the road was under construction. The shower room comes with heating and so it was nice to be able to shower in a warm room. Service was friendly and prompt. Those cleaning ladies were exceptionally hardworking.
All went well until the last 2 nights with a new neighbour whom we believed was a light sleeper who banged hard on the wall to signal us to quiet down at about 10 pm when we didn't even really speak loudly. Feedback to the counter and they offered us immediately a change of room for sleeping that we declined since it was our last night there.
Will recommend Base as most will not run into bad luck like us to have such neighbour (it will be nice if they could come to us and tell us politely or feedback to the counter to inform us instead of banging on the wall so rudely).

The staff at reception were extremely kind and helpful, especially considering I am a foreigner; they assisted me with everything they could.
The hotel is located in a safe area, with plenty of restaurants nearby, which made exploring very convenient. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

GGuest UserTraveling with kids to the Mutianyu Great Wall, choosing the Great Wall Hotel was super convenient. The hotel is located right inside the scenic area, and you can see mountain views just by opening the window. The room is very spacious, and the Chinese-style decor is quite elegant. The hotel's own kids' playground is great for letting children burn off energy, and the restaurant offers delicious and affordable food for a place within a scenic area. Staying at the hotel also includes complimentary admission tickets and discounts on the cable car and toboggan, making it a really good value overall. The staff service was also excellent; they responded promptly to any requests. The kids' slippers at this hotel had cute patterns, and my child loved them so much we brought them home to keep wearing!

XXingzoudeyun～The room is spacious and bright, with a large window that has a great view. It feels like you are looking far away from a high place, and you feel happy immediately. I like the vases and paintings of different styles in the room, which make the room lively and feel like you are at home. The hotel service is also very good

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a nice concept or safari theme but somewhat under delivered. The pictures were nice but I think these are old pictures as it definitely needs upkeep or we think due for renovation and cleanliness of the surrounding needs more manpower. Pool is questionable and not inviting.
Plus side: Very close to the great wall you can literally walk about 1km away to the gate. And the nearby grocery is a cheap way to buy local gifts to bring home. However you are far from the main Beijing City as in more than 1 hour by taxi and 2 hours if you get caught in the rush hour of beijing cost which cost about US$20 one way.
The room is clean, big and decent for the price but really needs repair and I really question the security of the door as it was no secondary lock. The hot water is plenty, aircon is nice, internet is ok, soap is great.
Service: They are family run I think 3 or 4 people, they try to accommodate but unlike other hotels in China, they don't try to utilize tech to translate. I understand they are kinda old.
They don't automatically make up the room even though we stayed for 3 nights. so our garbage filed up. But we are ok with it.
They were waiting even though we arrived at 2am which we appreciated. And the iced coffee is nice.
Bad: Food maybe it is not our preferred taste. It is definitely not a buffet and we only eat once. You have alternative restaurants across the street or in the Great Wall commercial area but it is expensive.
So will we recommend it, maybe.

GGuest User屬於民宿風格。位置在大興機場附近的農村，但是距離機場最多15分鐘行程特別方便。房間設施齊全。老闆娘考慮到我們是一家人出行，特地安排了一個家庭房間，很有人情味。從民宿酒店一出來就可以看到一個超市，周圍也有幾家餐館，吃住都很方便。作為中轉的住宿地點，實在是性價比很高的。遺憾的是好像生意不是很好，入住率不是很高，還可以多多推廣下。

There is only a buffet in the evening. The staff said they were too busy to order a la carte. This is very bad. We went out to eat. dinner. Breakfast was average but not enough.
