GGuest UserI was very satisfied with my stay, it was very comfortable. The room design was well thought out and the natural light was great. The nearby Niujie Baodu Man restaurant was very authentic and delicious; I tried the beef tripe and lamb skewers, and both were great! It's also conveniently located near several banks, making it easy to run errands. Taxis are easy to find here, and the service was warm and attentive.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located on Chang'an Avenue, very upscale. The room is spacious, and the decor has a strong Beijing feel, with views of the Forbidden City. It's within walking distance to Tiananmen Square, the National Museum of China, and Wangfujing, making getting around super convenient. There's plenty of complimentary water and drinks, and ordering takeout is also easy. The front desk staff were all very helpful and proactive. I was very satisfied with my 3-night stay.

Llillian_lanI booked a luxury king room for one night. Ctrip stated the room size was 40-45 square meters, but realistically, room 2129 felt more like 20 square meters at best. There's no way it was 40-45 square meters; I feel like I completely wasted over 1400 RMB. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, only a shower and toilet. The sink area was also tiny, not even big enough to put a makeup bag on. For a room costing over 1400 RMB with breakfast included, it felt more like a 3 or 4-star hotel in the 400-600 RMB range the moment I walked in. My business partners have offices in this building, and international colleagues have stayed here before. This hotel is also on the pricier side compared to others in the area, so I thought it would be very upscale. I chose to stay here the night before an early meeting nearby, but the overall experience was quite poor. The room size and facilities are not comparable to other five-star hotels at all. Furthermore, the bar right next to the front desk on the first floor was incredibly noisy at night, like a street food stall, completely lacking the ambiance expected of a five-star hotel. I'm not sure what this hotel's positioning is. The air conditioning in the room was extremely loud, making it almost impossible to sleep with it on. The curtains also had very poor blackout, and I was woken up at 5 AM by the light leaking through. Moreover, when an international colleague stayed here, they mentioned the air conditioning might not have been cleaned, as they started coughing on the second day and were later diagnosed with a lung infection. I strongly recommend the hotel clean its air conditioning regularly and promptly, and provide accurate room information to avoid misleading consumers!

GGuest UserThe location is great, making it super convenient to get around. It's right by the Dongzhimen transportation hub, and close to Taikoo Li and Raffles City. The only downside is that some rooms are near the airport expressway and can be quite noisy. Other rooms, closer to the Wanguocheng residential area, are much quieter. If you're sensitive to noise, it's best to request a quiet room in advance.

SSiau YongThe hotel upgraded us to apartments in a condominium nearby. The apartments are very spacious, well equipped, secured, and clean. The location is a distance away to the city centre, but with private transport, there's no issue. Nearby the hotel there're some shops, and a row of eateries with local food and local prices. The reception desk staff especially Sunny, Tina and Rebecca are warm, helpful, and responsive. Compliments to their excellent service. The only negative point is the breakfast which is outsourced to an adjacent cafe - the variety should be improved. We took the breakfast only once, and make our own in the apartments for the rest of the stay.

KKerstin KaehlerThe Jade Garden Hotel is listed as having four stars but should probably be between two and three stars, realistically. The location is great for anyone who wants to be central and close to the Forbidden City, Wangfujing and other sights. Its historic value is interesting as well and I enjoyed the exhibition in the side lobby. My room was okay and the noise reduction by the windows was great - it overlooked a very busy crossing and yet I heard no traffic noise. Bed linen and towels were clean as were the tub and toilet - but the room had a LOT of dust in various places: window sill, electric water kettle, on power outlets and doors…also, the furniture looks VERY used, the bathtub was discolored in places (though clean) and some equipment is sagging; the overall impression was not of a four star hotel room. The breakfast buffet was good but again: the impression is of two - three stars. What is impressive is the speed of reaction to pressing “please make up room” button! Otherwise the staff was polite enough but not outstandingly friendly or enthusiastic. For the location, the price was still acceptable, although the dust did detract from its potential charm.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in the heart of Jinbao Street in Dongcheng, just a 10-minute walk from Wangfujing and a short bike ride to the East Gate of the Forbidden City. It's surrounded by luxury boutiques and traditional hutongs, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The European architectural style is very photogenic and creates a fantastic atmosphere. The hotel boasts a rare French Baroque palace design, featuring a soaring atrium, gilded corridors, gigantic crystal chandeliers, a vintage spiral staircase, and antique fireplaces everywhere you look. It's filled with European antique furniture and oil paintings, creating an incredibly atmospheric and Instagrammable setting. Many international guests stay here, and the overall experience is excellent. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Beijing.

GGuest UserHere I am again, after less than a month! This time I even braved a heavy downpour to get here. My flight circled over Beijing for an hour before landing, so I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight. It was another one of those check-in and check-out on the same day trips. I was already feeling pretty groggy, but thankfully, Bella at the front desk was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. She handled everything super quickly and thoughtfully, getting me checked in no time. Once I got to the room, I even bothered the staff to open and close the window for me. They made two trips late at night – I'm really grateful, though I regret not catching their names. This time, my room had an even better view! When I woke up in the morning, the sun was even out, and my mood instantly brightened, just like the weather. I got back late from lunch, but luckily, they extended my check-out time. By the way, I once again ran into the ever-elegant Ms. Rose Xiao. She checked out my room card for me at the very last minute. This trip was truly a whirlwind. As expected, after the storm, there's always sunshine! (I hope I got both employees' names right; I always worry about misspelling them.)
