"I landed at 2 a.m. with an onward flight at 3 a.m. the next day, so I needed somewhere to sleep, shower and wait out a full day. This worked perfectly. DiDi from Terminal 2 was 45 RMB, about fifteen minutes, and check-in at that hour was no problem. The hotel is new and clean throughout: rain shower, projector in the room, floor-to-ceiling windows. Free laundry room with washers and dryers, detergent from reception, tea station in the lobby. Honestly about the noise: it sits directly under the approach path and you hear planes clearly. Earplugs (available at reception) solve it completely and I slept fine, but a light sleeper would struggle without them. New residential area, with dozens of small restaurants and shops within walking distance. Metro is fifteen minutes on foot or a couple of stops by bus. Very good value. Recommended."

"Traveling to Beijing with my entire family, I booked two king rooms and one twin room at the Beijing Joy Hotel through Trip.com. First, a 'five-star review' to customer service agent Xue'er! And another 'five-star review' to the hotel's front desk staff, concierge, and housekeeping aunties who took care of us! After booking the rooms, I started coordinating with Xue'er. Since we were traveling to Beijing from abroad, many items we'd need during the trip were inconvenient to carry. We had to rely on online shopping to solve this. As soon as Xue'er found out, she immediately helped resolve my concern without hesitation, ensuring the concierge department took excellent care of my packages! One day, we were rushing to head to Qianmen Street. The kids were all eager to go shopping, but I was still waiting for my laundry to finish... My family was urging me relentlessly. I contacted Xue'er directly, and she told me, ”It's okay, quickly take your family out shopping. Don't worry about the laundry; leave it to me.” With Xue'er's reassurance, I happily took my family shopping. When we returned to the hotel, our clothes were already neatly placed in our room! The hotel's location is also excellent. It's connected to the Joy City shopping mall, with many great restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, etc., nearby, making it extremely convenient. Beijing travel involves large attractions and a lot of walking. It was wonderful to be able to comfortably rest back at the hotel after each day of exploring!"

"I stayed at this wonderful hotel for one night during a layover in Beijing. Here’s what I want to say: if you’re flying with a layover and need a place to stay overnight, this is the place to go! The hotel is located just a 10–15 minute drive from the airport. Guests can arrange a transfer service that picks them up at the airport and takes them back the next morning. I arrived at 6 PM and contacted the hotel from the airport—this service is completely free if you book through Trip.com (a huge thank you to that wonderful service!). A hotel representative explained exactly where to catch the shuttle in excellent English. Thanks to the clear instructions, finding the shuttle bus stop was easy. As I mentioned, the hotel is a short 10–15 minute drive away. Nearby, there are other transit hotels, as well as cafes, convenience stores, and massage parlors—basically everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel itself is spotless, and the rooms are spacious, cozy, and very comfortable. The service and staff are excellent. The food selection is fantastic! My room rate included not only breakfast (a very varied buffet) but also dinner (soup, rice with vegetables and meat, and pasta with vegetables)—everything was delicious. There is an enclosure with live llamas in the hotel courtyard—a unique and charming touch—with tables nearby where you can have coffee or a cigarette. There is also a free coffee machine near the reception area. My room was spacious and equipped with absolutely everything I needed, plus a complimentary gift from the hotel—a really nice touch. After spending the night in this wonderful place, I want to say a huge thank you to all the hotel staff who maintain such high standards of service and a lovely atmosphere. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to friends. If you are reading this review, I highly recommend staying at this wonderful hotel too!!!!! Thank you for the magnificent welcome❤️"

"Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly satisfying stay! Our recent stay at this hotel in Beijing was excellent overall, leaving us with a warm and lasting impression. First and foremost, I'd like to commend the hotel's service. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and kind, making us feel very comfortable and truly at home. The hotel's location is also incredibly convenient, right behind Beijing Railway Station, making transportation exceptionally easy. This was a huge relief for us as tourists visiting Beijing. Furthermore, the thoughtful services provided by the hotel pleasantly surprised us. We stayed for four consecutive nights, and the hotel offered a complimentary bag of laundry service and even a complimentary half roasted duck, which was a very generous gesture. The hotel's dining prices were also very reasonable, with the breakfast buffet at just 38 yuan per person, and in-house guests receiving a 30% discount on regular meals. I particularly loved the small courtyard in the center of the hotel. It offered a relaxed and comfortable environment. After a busy day, sitting in the courtyard to eat and relax felt incredibly pleasant. Of course, I have two small suggestions for the hotel to consider: The carpet in the hotel corridors appears a bit old. If possible, I suggest replacing or renovating it in due course, which I believe would make the overall environment even more comfortable. Additionally, during our stay, the toilet flush in the bathroom seemed a bit sluggish. I hope the hotel can check and improve this. Overall, this is a hotel with warm service, a convenient location, great value for money, and a very human touch. Thanks to the dedicated service of the hotel staff, our trip to Beijing was made even more memorable. If we visit Beijing again, we will definitely choose this hotel and recommend it to our friends! 💕"

"Absolutely amazing! I spent ages researching hotels and after much deliberation, I chose Zhongting. Hotels within the 3rd Ring Road that are close to Tiananmen are just too old. This one is about 50 minutes by subway from Tiananmen, which I'm perfectly fine with! After a long day, all I want is to come back to a comfortable hotel room and relax. See photos for more details. Let me tell you about the breakfast 🥣. They have noodles, congee, soy milk, coffee, fruit, pastries, and side dishes... I think it's really good. Don't compare it to a 5-star hotel; for this price and location, I'd give it a solid 'A'. The room size is exactly as stated, and it's super clean and hygienic. I highly recommend it."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Check in and out we’re super fast and staff spoke English. We had executive room which included access to the lounge twice a day with snacks and drinks. We only used it twice but it was helpful. The location of the hotel is right near the walking street. The room was spacious and the bathroom was traditional room with sink, bath and shower with the sliding door which was nice change from other types of bathrooms we experienced in China. There were some toiletries provided. The breakfast room is massive and stunning and the breakfast had large variety. There were stations for pancakes and waffles, omelettes and eggs, as well as noodle soups, middle eastern and Korean food. The coffee machines produced relatively good coffee. The concierge was helpful. Strange things were unplugging our phone chargers every time the room service was done and not cleaning the cups and leaving them with tea from last night. The sink was not draining well. All else was great."

"The room was very clean, and the housekeeper who cleaned during our extended stay was very thoughtful, always replenishing water and toilet paper on time. The location is also quite good, with many delicious food options nearby and a lively atmosphere. It's also easy to get a taxi. I went based on the reviews and was not disappointed~"
