The guy at the front desk even helped me carry my super heavy luggage up to the second floor when I arrived, and pushed it for me when I left—I'm so grateful! "The Cloud Manor Starlight Cliff Hotel was an amazing surprise! It's located 2km from Gaozhuang on a hillside, away from the hustle and bustle, yet still convenient to everything. The lobby's fragrance is really soothing. They offer free shuttle service to and from Gaozhuang, which is super handy. The private villas offer great privacy, and the river view rooms have fantastic views. The facilities are new, hygiene is excellent, and the bedding is very comfortable. Backing onto a primeval forest, the air is fresh, making it a natural oxygen bar – perfect for families with elders and children. The front desk even provides thoughtful amenities like sunscreen and makeup remover. From the infinity pool on the cliff, you can overlook Gaozhuang and the Xishuangbanna Bridge, connecting with the Mekong River scenery – it's a perfect spot for photos! The bookstore next to the 'Sky Mirror' on the 8th floor is also very photogenic. The breakfast offers a wide variety, and there are welcome fruits, afternoon tea, and 24-hour coffee. Ordering takeout is easy, and robot delivery is quick. It's definitely worth repeat visits; a must-stay for any trip to Xishuangbanna!"

The second is that although it is a James Coffetel Hotel, similar to an express hotel, and the recent prices are very affordable, but since it is such a large hotel chain, it must have certain standards. The third thing is that it is very convenient to shop and eat downstairs in the hotel. There is a riverside night market downstairs, which is very lively. It is not far from Gaozhuang, so it is quite convenient. Next, let’s talk about the shortcomings. ①The parking lot is not downstairs of the hotel but in the underground parking lot about 100 meters away from the hotel. After parking your car, you have to walk onto the ground and then walk to the hotel. The sound insulation of the windows was very poor. I could clearly hear the noise from the night market downstairs. Although the price is very close to the people, you can't lower your standards just because of this. Five-star reviews are important, but if you really do it, you don't need souvenirs and red envelopes, and you will naturally give five-star reviews. We had airport pickup service in a spacious GL8 business seven-seater. The lobby offers complimentary self-serve refreshments like fresh flower cakes and Pu'er tea, plenty for everyone. The room also thoughtfully provided disposable bath liners and toilet seat covers, which was very convenient. Cleanliness: All the glass throughout the hotel was spotless. However, the room's disinfection needs improvement. Before going to bed, I found a lot of large ants near the sink, which scared me! Thankfully, the butler responded quickly and brought insecticide. Environment: It's right in the city center, and the soundproofing is decent. Getting a taxi can be a bit of a hassle due to potential traffic, but it's very convenient for walking around, and it's close to Gaozhuang."

"This was my first time bringing my parents and child to Xishuangbanna, and after looking at countless hotels online, I finally settled on this one. I was a bit nervous before arriving, but the ladies at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and upgraded us to a spacious family room! Both beds were huge! My child and parents slept very comfortably! The room they gave us was also incredibly quiet! In the lobby, there's a pool table for kids, a slide into a ball pit, and arcade games! The first thing my child wanted to do every day upon returning was play pool and games in the lobby, not wanting to go back to the room! It put us in a good mood to stay there! Our food delivery robot arrived very quickly! Everything was great! At checkout, the front desk lady extended our checkout time until 2 PM. We were having so much fun that we lost track of time and got back to the hotel after 2 PM, but she still told us not to rush and to take our time packing.
