"Great location, in the middle of actions. right next walk to 老门东 and next to 夫子庙，15 min away from Nanjing South Raul station. The hotel is very uniquely traditional Chinese building, the amenities are very modern though. All in all a great hotel to stay at and very convenient and clean. Staff is super friendly. From the street there are no signs for the hotel so that caused a little confusion when dropped off by taxi and I didn't know where the hotel was. The staff was kind enough to come by and pick me up. The breakfast is a big negative. Very few selections and didn't taste good. Compaied to other hotels in Hina they are way below par. if the management is reading this, I'd suggest to improve on breakfast variety and taste. Still a great place to stay overall, I'd highly recommend it."

"This guesthouse was a delightful surprise on our trip! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The rooms were spotless and well-equipped with smart technology. The surrounding environment was beautiful, with fireworks in the evenings and a BBQ buffet. They even sent us travel tips for the area beforehand and thoughtfully provided local snacks and bedtime milk. The rooms were cozy and clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering mountain views. Waking up to birdsong in the morning was incredibly soothing. The breakfast was the most amazing part; beef noodles are a signature dish here."

"This was my family's first trip to Nanjing, and while the typhoon slightly impacted our plans, which was a bit of a shame, overall we were quite satisfied. We chose the Shangri-La, located on the western bank of Xuanwu Lake, offering an excellent location with stunning, direct lake views from our room – truly a feast for the eyes. We had booked a Horizon Club Lake View room and were kindly upgraded to a Grand Lake View upon check-in. The hotel is just a stone's throw away from Xinmofan Malu Metro Station (Line 1), making it very convenient to get to various attractions. For the subway, I recommend using the back entrance (near the Jiangnan Wok restaurant on the 1st floor); no room key card is needed before 11 PM. If you're staying in a Horizon Club room, you can check in on the 40th floor, which usually means no waiting. Breakfast is also served on the 40th floor, with superb lake views and a rich selection of dishes. Besides the buffet, there are also some special à la carte items you can order – I highly recommend the Old Duck Vermicelli Soup and the xiao long bao (soup dumplings). The hotel service was also excellent; Beryl from Guest Relations and the 40th-floor reception staff were incredibly helpful, and I'm very grateful. We plan to visit Nanjing again this autumn and will definitely stay at the Shangri-La again."

"The price was relatively high during the Spring Festival in Tangshan Town, Nanjing. Parking was free, the overall environment was quite nice, and it was relatively quiet at night. There was a very beautiful courtyard with a cat, and you could even see the stars at night. The breakfast was delicious, and you could visit the quarry park and hot springs nearby. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay with the kids during the Spring Festival."

"During my business trip to Nanjing, I stopped by the Jiapuji Hot Spring Resort Hotel in Tangshan, and the overall experience was truly delightful – a definite thumbs up! First, the location: right next to the Garden Expo Park, the environment is impeccable. Although it's a bit far from the city center, that's precisely why it's so quiet. The hotel has a modern Chinese style, with white walls and black tiles, which looks very refreshing and makes for great photos. I must especially praise their hot spring! This was my biggest motivation for coming here. Although it's indoors, it's designed to be very private, not like a noisy public bathhouse. The water temperature was just right; soaking in it completely relaxed my muscles and bones, especially after a busy day at work – the fatigue instantly disappeared. The water quality was also very clean, which is very important. The food was also good. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of choices, including Chinese noodles and Western bread, and the taste was worth the price. For lunch and dinner, we ordered local specialties, which were plentiful and authentically flavorful. The service was excellent; check-in was very efficient, and the staff greeted us warmly and responded quickly to any requests. Overall, it's great value for money. If you're planning a trip to the Garden Expo Park or simply want a relaxing place to soak in a hot spring, this place is perfect. I highly recommend giving it a try!"

"My best friend and I chose the Kempinski for our trip to Nanjing, and our entire stay was absolutely perfect, exceeding all expectations! A big thank you to Cassie in red for helping us with a room upgrade. The hotel masterfully blends German understated luxury with the ancient charm of Jinling. The Ming City Wall-inspired background in the fifth-floor lobby and the spiral staircase are incredibly photogenic, creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the public areas. The room was spacious, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, ensuring two nights of exceptionally peaceful sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were high quality. They even provided fresh welcome fruit upon arrival, and the minibar was complimentary on the first night – such thoughtful details. You absolutely must try the 30-meter panoramic skylight heated pool; the water is crystal clear and clean. It was incredibly relaxing to swim after sightseeing. The 24-hour gym also has a great selection of equipment. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including local duck blood vermicelli and soup dumplings, all authentic and delicious. The staff were consistently gentle and attentive throughout our stay. Check-in was efficient, and the concierge proactively helped us call taxis. It’s also very close to popular attractions like Fuzi Temple and Laomendong by taxi. The hotel is a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city, quiet and peaceful. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nanjing. Highly recommended!"

"My recent stay at the Golden Eagle G Hotel exceeded my expectations. Everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. Let me break it down into a few points. First, the environment. My room was on a high floor, directly facing the Hexi area, offering a truly expansive view. During the day, you could see the city skyline with its well-arranged skyscrapers, and on a clear day, the view stretched incredibly far. At night, the lights of the Hexi buildings lit up, creating a beautiful nightscape. Just sitting by the window and zoning out was quite relaxing. The blackout curtains were also excellent; once closed, barely any light came through, ensuring a peaceful sleep until natural wake-up. Overall, the view is a major plus for this hotel. Hygiene was meticulously maintained. The first thing I noticed upon entering the room were the pristine bed sheets and duvet covers – clean, wrinkle-free, and spotless. The bath and hand towels were fluffy and soft, without that strange disinfectant smell. The bathroom floor, walls, and vanity were free of water stains, and the glass was sparkling clean. The shower drain was efficient, preventing any water from pooling. Even small items like the remote control looked clean, making for a reassuring stay. The facilities were well-maintained. The electric curtains were responsive, opening and closing smoothly with just a light touch, no effort needed to pull them. The smart toilet's bidet function worked well, and the seat warmer was also functional. The showerhead provided a quick and strong water flow with stable temperature, which was very refreshing. The mattress was a medium firmness, and there were pillows of different heights to choose from, guaranteeing good sleep quality. The power outlets in the room were also conveniently located, with one on each side of the bed, so no fighting over charging spots. The service deserves a special mention. The front desk handled check-in efficiently, with no significant waiting time, and their attitude was natural and not stiff. During check-out, they proactively asked for my license plate number to register it in the system, so the barrier lifted automatically when I drove out of the underground garage without charge – a small detail that made things very convenient. The concierge was also on point; as soon as my car stopped, they came over to help with luggage and took it to the elevator. For check-out, they called a taxi promptly and even helped load my bags into the car. Overall, the service felt practical rather than flashy, and they delivered on all fronts. In summary, the Golden Eagle G offers a balanced experience across environment, hygiene, facilities, and service, with no obvious drawbacks. I would definitely consider staying here again for my next business trip or weekend getaway in Nanjing."

"Traveled from Nanjing with my child for the weekend and chose the Kaiyuan Guchengwan Hotel – the experience was absolutely fantastic! Special thanks to our butler, Xiao Xia, for her thoughtful and attentive service. She coordinated our itinerary in advance and provided a detailed introduction to the hotel and surrounding area. Check-in was efficient upon arrival. We booked the Misty Rain Twin Room package, which was very convenient and close to the lobby. The hotel is located within a Jiangnan garden, far from the city's hustle and bustle. The environment is superb, with the sounds of insects and birds, and fresh air. The shuttle service into the scenic area was incredibly convenient. The room was spacious, with two 1.35m beds that we could push together, so we didn't have to worry about the child falling off. The separate wet and dry bathroom, the scenic floor-to-ceiling windows, and the balcony were particularly impressive. Watching the scenery from the room on a rainy day truly lived up to the name ”Misty Rain Room.” Whether it was borrowing items, booking the shuttle, or requesting a late check-out, our butler Xiao Xia handled everything quickly and properly. She was reliable in her work and genuinely kind to guests. We used the dinner included in the package; the vegetables were very fresh, suitable for both the elderly and children, and the fruit was exceptionally delicious. Breakfast offered a rich variety, and parking in the underground garage was convenient, making our travels stress-free. The children's playground was spacious, and the pool was very clean, making the little ones incredibly happy. The noodles from Hu Ji Noodle House, included in the package, were also delicious. The stir-fried shredded pork with green peppers, freshly made by the auntie, was so fragrant that my child and I ate every last bit. Our butler, Xiao Xia, provided meticulous care throughout our stay. Her service was delicate and warm, perfectly embodying a five-star service standard. This vacation was relaxed and pleasant, without any unpleasant incidents. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The next time we visit Guchengwan, we'll definitely look for Butler Xiao Xia again!"

The only minor drawback: At night, the underfloor heating was so strong that it felt a bit too warm, slightly affecting my need for a cooler place to sleep.
