"The hotel is located on a pedestrian street, so if you're arriving by car, you'll need to get off at the street entrance and walk 100-200 meters to reach it. The hotel spans both sides of the pedestrian street, making it easy to find. The hotel is housed in an antique building. Given its age, some of the facilities are a bit old, but it's still well-maintained. I really liked the vintage decor in the room. From my room, I could see the Qinhuai River and watch boats pass by. The hotel is conveniently located near attractions like the Confucius Temple and boat tours. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, but still manageable. The staff provided excellent service. It's definitely worth experiencing."

"Bringing my kid to Nanjing this time, staying at Jinling Hotel was absolutely the right choice! First, let's talk about transportation. There's a subway station right downstairs, making it super convenient to get to any attraction. With a little one, not having to transfer saves so much hassle and energy. Plus, it's right next to the Xinjiekou Zhongshan South Road mall, so it's just a short walk to grab bubble tea or snacks in the evening. The breakfast deserves a special shout-out; my kid couldn't stop eating! And I was really looking forward to the duck blood and vermicelli soup – it was authentic, with a rich broth and plenty of ingredients. Starting the day with a bowl of that was just perfect. It's also very close to the Nanjing Museum, just three subway stops away, which was great for taking my child to learn about history. The whole trip felt perfectly planned. Overall, our stay was very comfortable, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Nanjing!"

"Lovely stay at this hotel. The room was very big and comfortable, although the walls are a little thin so can clearly hear people talking. For pet owners: note that the Laomendong pedestrian street is not pet friendly (even though there was no sign at the street that we walked through) but the area behind the hotel was lovely and quiet and great to walk the dog. We could also walk past the old city walls which was beautiful. Parking is nearby and quite convenient."

"This place is perfect for business trips! It's quiet, spacious, and super close to the high-speed rail station. Plus, they offer coffee and late-night snacks, which is a lifesaver for us workers, haha. I think it'd be great for tourists too, because the rooms are genuinely huge and have everything you need. "Choosing this hotel for my trip was an excellent decision! The location is incredibly convenient; it's easy to hail a taxi and explore the shopping areas nearby. Plus, there are tons of small eateries around, so you'll never have to worry about finding food. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with the check-in process. I arrived a day early and had booked a different room type for the following days. They seamlessly arranged for me to stay in the same room without needing to switch, which was incredibly thoughtful! Housekeeping was prompt with their cleaning, and they responded quickly to any requests. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. Both the service and cleanliness were impeccable, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I would definitely choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone traveling."

"The hotel environment is fantastic, transformed from a Republican-era building, which gives it a wonderful feel and really shows the designer's thoughtful touches. There are many large trees and plants throughout the hotel, creating a great resort-like atmosphere. The rooms are spacious with large windows, offering excellent natural light that brightens your mood. The hotel's breakfast buffet is impressive, especially the douhua (tofu pudding) which you can customize with your own toppings – the savory version is delicious! The fruit and vegetable selection is abundant, and having a bowl of duck blood vermicelli soup each morning is the perfect start to the day. The laundry room has two washers and two dryers. You can even check their real-time status on the hotel TV, which is very convenient. Rooms with a small garden are even more comfortable; you can do some stretches in the morning. While there's no gym, it's not a big issue. You can easily go for a run nearby, as the hotel is located right in the Zhongshan Scenic Area. A short jog uphill will take you to Entrance No. 5 of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. Rooms are equipped with smart voice control for opening curtains, turning on lights, the TV, and air conditioning. The only slightly less intelligent aspect is the light control. If you turn on the bathroom light when getting up at night, it also switches on two other lights in the room. And it seems there's no physical switch to turn those two off; you have to reach for the smart device by the bedside to switch to sleep mode. The rose black tea bags in the room are delicious, and the mini-fridge is restocked daily with complimentary drinks like Sprite, Coke, and soda – a definite plus! Milk's service was excellent, five-star worthy! The hotel offers great value for money, and every staff member is very welcoming."

"I arrived at the Golden Eagle International Hotel on Friday, and the lovely front desk staff immediately upgraded my room! A huge thank you to her – the upgraded room had floor-to-ceiling windows facing east and south, offering panoramic views of the Ritz-Carlton, Jinling Hotel, Qinhuai River, and Hanzhong Road. I could enjoy the beautiful night views right from my room 😻. To have such an accommodation experience in a prime downtown location is truly rare and wonderful 🥰. The hotel's overall pricing is reasonable, and its hardware facilities are high-end and well-equipped, on par with other luxury hotels of its class. The hotel's relatively straightforward service matches its straightforward pricing, gracefully discarding the arrogance and unreasonableness often displayed by five-star hotels 🤭. It's worth mentioning that the hotel's Chinese and Western restaurants serve guests every day. Because of their excellent value for money, they are often fully booked on weekends, making it hard to get a table! What truly stands out is the hotel's unbeatable location 👍. Connected to the Golden Eagle International Hotel are not only Golden Eagle Shopping Center Towers B and A, and JLC Jinling Central, but also the high-end Deji Plaza. If it rains, you can comfortably access all these shopping destinations via the underground level, and even seamlessly reach Metro Line 1 and Line 2. Breakfast is served on the 28th floor of the hotel, and the Chinese restaurant, Manyuan Spring, is on the 27th floor. Dining on these high floors with expansive views is truly a delightful experience! This was a truly wonderful encounter and experience! I will definitely book the Golden Eagle International Hotel again on my next visit to Nanjing 🏨."

"The overall experience is particularly good, the room is clean and hygienic, the bedding is clean and odorless, and the bathroom is also neatly cleaned. There is free parking in the store, and it is especially convenient to travel by car without worrying about parking spaces. Very close to the subway station, you can walk for a few minutes, and the travel transfer is super worry-free. I especially want to commend two of the housekeeping aunties; they were both genuinely kind and warm-hearted. A bee flew into our room, and one petite auntie immediately came to help us catch it, showing no fear at all – she was so brave! We also had some items that needed refrigeration, and another auntie consistently helped us take them for storage every day without fail, showing great attention to detail. All the small and big details were perfectly taken care of, making our stay incredibly comfortable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit; I truly recommend it!"

"The front desk service was excellent, very attentive and polite. This time we traveled with our baby, and they upgraded us to a family room. The room was incredibly spacious and spotless, plus it had a tent and a children's bed, which made our baby very happy. The hotel has plenty of parking, and it's very close to restaurants and department stores. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Nanjing."
