"I was looking for an affordable hotel near Jiaxiu Tower in Guiyang and stumbled upon this place by chance. It truly lives up to its name, 'Huanzhu' (meaning 'joyful stay').
It's located on a very lively street, about a 15-minute walk to Jiaxiu Tower, with bustling commercial streets all along the way.
The hotel entrance is small; you need to take an elevator to the third floor to check in. Both the second and third floors are guest rooms.
The corridors have thick carpets, which provide excellent sound insulation. The rooms are fully automated with Xiao Du (a smart assistant) controlling lighting brightness, air conditioning, and curtains.
There's no TV, just a large projector on the wall opposite the bed. One evening, I bought a couple of beers downstairs, watched a movie, and surprisingly, despite the loud projector sound, no one bothered me, and I couldn't hear any noise from next door either.
This room included a double breakfast, which was delivered to the room. It was exquisitely prepared. Although they were ready-made and microwaved, it was still a nice touch.
One afternoon, it rained, so I went to the front desk to see if they had an umbrella. The lovely lady at the front desk immediately gave me her own umbrella.
This is truly an economical, thoughtfully run, and affordable hotel."

"As someone who's a bit of a clean freak, I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. There were no strange odors in the room, the carpet was dry, and the sheets were pristine white and wrinkle-free. The bathroom had excellent separation of wet and dry areas, and water stains were promptly cleaned. You can really tell the hotel puts a lot of effort into its cleaning and disinfection, which made for a very reassuring stay."

"The hotel's location is great; it's within walking distance of MixC World, and about 1.5 km from Yitian City and Jiaxiu Tower, making it a very convenient spot in the old city. If you're driving, you can park in the Hongtong City parking lot next door and take the connecting walkway to the hotel. Next to Hongtong City is the Erqi Snack City, where I finally got to try the highly anticipated Gaoba Xifan (sticky rice porridge), which was very authentic and not too crowded. I highly recommend the hotel's 'Pet Paradise' for families with young children. The animals are very clean, unlike some external animal feeding places, and it's not crowded. The staff are enthusiastic and helpful, assisting with animal feed (which is free) and ensuring guest safety. It was a perfect way to avoid the crowds during the Dragon Boat Festival and enjoy a leisurely tour of Guiyang. Since there are many out-of-town visitors, I suggest the rice noodles and Changwang noodles at breakfast could be pre-seasoned with local condiments. Also, since there's congee, it would be great to have more variety, like salted eggs. Otherwise, everything else was good."

The design is a French-inspired 'cream cave' style – every corner is Instagram-worthy. Our double room was incredibly comfortable, with a spacious layout and soft bedding. The amenities are very smart, including a smart toilet. The attention to detail is evident, even the toiletries feel like works of art. The service was also exceptionally thoughtful. We were greeted with a welcome afternoon tea, and the Tremella soup was delicious. In the evenings, there's a comforting 'goodnight sweet wine and mochi' service. Plus, the 24-hour room service meant we could enjoy Guiyang snacks even late at night.

GGuest UserWe arrived in the afternoon from the city center, and couldn't figure out how to exit the subway station. After calling the front desk, they advised us that exit A2 was the easiest way. It only took a few minutes to walk to the hotel, which was more convenient than I expected. When we got there, it wasn't too busy, and the staff were friendlier than I anticipated. During check-in, they kindly told us about the hotel's breakfast times. I hadn't considered breakfast when booking, but the front desk staff, Xiao Wang, offered a member-rate breakfast which was quite a good deal, much cheaper than buying it outright – big thumbs up for that! Haha. Plus, there's Guichu Sour Soup Beef right next to the hotel, so we just went there for dinner. The hotel room card gets you a 10% discount, though I felt a group purchase online was still a bit more cost-effective. Oh, and the hotel's airport shuttle needs to be booked in advance; it's not available 24/7. We booked our shuttle for the next day at the front desk when we checked in. It only took a few minutes to get to the airport, which was very convenient. This trip to Guizhou was a great experience; everyone here seems so warm and hospitable. I'd love to visit this city again if I get the chance!

The hotel not only provides free coffee, juice, milk tea, facial masks and eye masks, but also free use of washing machines and dryers. The lounge area at the front desk is also very thoughtful. The hotel also has a homemade guide for reference. It is really friendly for foreign tourists. The sanitation is super clean and tidy, even the dead corners are cleaned very well. The service of the lady at the front desk is super good and super enthusiastic. After sending us to the room, she also introduced us how to use the facilities in the room. It's so thoughtful. I highly recommend it, highly recommend it, and I say it three times because it's important. I will bring my friends with me next time.

The room type we initially booked didn't have a window, but after discussing it, they upgraded our room. The room came with noise-canceling earplugs and disposable toilet seat covers, which was very thoughtful. It offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it. The location is also very convenient, close to the provincial hospital, making it easy for medical visits.

Secondly: it is located on the 8th floor of a commercial tower.
As a 3 star rated hotel in china, it's on the high end of the scale inside.
as a solo traveller, i am mainly looking at convenience and hygiene. I booked this place for it's proximity to the train station for my early morning flight.
Arriving at the station, it took me 40 minutes to find my way to walk over to the hotel, and would have appreciated more information.
How to get there: Exit the station at the west plaza, on your right somewhere, you will find a path which leads to an underpass to cross the highway. Walk straight into the basement of the commercial building, turn left and then go up the escalators. Then the hotel's lifts are on the left as you enter the building. The current state of the elevator lobby and the lift is dire. See photos. Cigarette butts, and renovation mess.
In the reception, there was a lady in front of me that was haggling the prices of her room. Just so that you get an idea of the place.
Once I got into the room, it was fine. Quite a nice area. But there was no Aircon control, it was all centralised, but at least it was cool in Guiyang that night.
There was a wet mark on the sofa, see photo. I inspected the room for hygiene, and it was ok, clean towels, clean toilet, clean sheets, pillows didn't smell. The toilet flushes well, and shower room was clean. In fact, apart from the sofa mark and the rug condition, everything was good. I marked down the hygiene mainly from a suspicious wet mark and the state of the lobby/lift.
I used the self checkout in the morning to catch my train, since the reception was sleeping under the counter. It takes 10-15 min today walk to the station with luggage, with no rain shelter. Be aware. It is probably better to just book a hotel in a slightly better area and take a cab.

The room had its own small living room, making it comfortable for both adults and children. The lake view of the inn truly lived up to its name; strolling along the lake and letting the kids run wild in the garden was even more pleasant than visiting tourist attractions. The complimentary ethnic costume selfie experience and afternoon tea were a delightful surprise; my wife took many beautiful photos in Miao clothing! The service was exceptionally thoughtful, making our family trip particularly enjoyable.

GGuest UserGreentree Eastern Hotel is the largest airport hotel in Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, located at AC Park. It has four towers. Check-in is at the fourth tower. I thank the receptionist for reserving an aircraft-flying-view room at the third tower. Focal length of an aircraft taking off from Guiyang is 200mm to 400mm above.
I choose to stay at Greentree Eastern Hotel because the hotel does not charge room key deposit and it is the newest airport hotel opposite the Guiyang airport Terminal 3. I also want to test plane-spotting at this hotel. Besides, the nearest place to enjoy lunch and dinner is of less than one minute walk from the hotel, also at AC Park, and I get to enjoy extremely cheap Guizhou cuisine. I am very happy that I have selected the right airport hotel.
During my vacation at Greentree Eastern Hotel, two incidents happened.
Firstly, the receptionist told me that to print my boarding passes, I need to forward the online boarding passes via WeChat for the hotel to print the boarding pass. However, I explained to the receptionists that I have difficulties in using WeChat after registering an account. One of the receptionists helped me forward one boarding pass to his email address and from his email address to the hotel printer on Friday. I got the first online boarding pass in black and white.
On Saturday morning, I attempted the same but the other receptionst-on-duty refused to help me.
The other incident is at the hotel restaurant Bellagio (鹿港小镇). There is no restaurant staff to take the breakfast vouchers. Therefore, many guests have taken advantage of eating breakfast at the restaurant for free and before 7.30 am, many breakfast items were snapped up.
I hope that Greentree Eastern Hotel can provide better printing service and enforce the rule that a restaurant staff should be at the reception desk of the restaurant to collect the breakfast vouchers.

GGuest UserThis hotel near Guiyang Fountains is right in the city center. The subway station is downstairs, making transportation incredibly convenient. You can get to the airport in just 30 minutes by subway. The environment and cleanliness are excellent, much better than I expected. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the price was reasonable.

Right from the moment we arrived, it was disappointing. We had a lot of luggage since we were traveling from Nanning, and there was no one to receive us or guide us — just a dark alley with no staff in sight. We had to call the number listed, and even then, the person on the call had no idea where we were supposed to check in. After some confusion, we had to walk around 200 meters to a completely different hotel’s service center just to check in. Even there, the service was terrible — the staff were casually chatting on WeChat and clearly had no clue what they were doing. We waited nearly 30 minutes before they finally said we should go to another hotel nearby. They gave us a room card and we moved all our luggage there, only to get a call saying the room was already booked for the next day — so we had to move again. Thankfully, we hadn’t unpacked yet, but it was still exhausting and unacceptable. Even basic things like water bottles weren’t available — we were told they would send a message in a WeChat group and they would deliver it to the room later. Seriously? Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and stressful. The only positive part was the security staff — they were actually helpful and polite. Everything else? Not worth it.
