That said, they could definitely be communicated more clearly. It’s important to read the fine print when booking and during check-in. While the fees may not be obvious at first glance, the hotel is legally allowed to include them since they are technically disclosed. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with enough space to hang clothes. There were multiple hangers, and the locker-style closets matched the hotel’s sporty decor. The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the shower—but nothing alarming. The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly. Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spot—I barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I recommend this hotel. It’s in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises. I’m very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again."

The location is absolutely perfect—just steps away from Michigan Avenue, shops, and great restaurants. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed, including a full kitchen, which is a huge plus. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated how quiet the room was despite being in such a central area. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient during check-in and checkout. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and had a good variety of options. Overall, it was a short but very pleasant stay. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in downtown Chicago!"
