SShi raI was very pleased with the comfortable room. Although I could hear the tram running all night, I understood this was due to its central location. The breakfast was the best part! It also seemed to be a better deal if you booked with breakfast included. However, the service really let them down, and I've significantly deducted points for it. After checking out at 12 PM, I waited an incredibly long time for my valet car – it didn't arrive even after fifty minutes, nor by 1:30 PM. We couldn't get in touch with the valet attendant, and the nonchalant attitude of a blonde staff member was also very frustrating. We couldn't even pick up our ordered pizza on time. Due to these delays, we were late for our 1:30 PM lunch reservation and ended up arriving at 2 PM, missing one of our planned activities altogether. However, the place we had lunch had such excellent service and delicious food that we ended up leaving Chicago on a positive note.

DDariemI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile, and it exceeded all my expectations. The hotel is ideally located—right in the heart of the Magnificent Mile, so it’s within walking distance of world-class shopping, dining, and iconic Chicago landmarks like the John Hancock Center and Navy Pier. Room Quality: The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. I stayed in a city-view room, and the view of the Chicago skyline was absolutely breathtaking, especially at night when the city lights illuminated the skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's rest, and the bathroom was sleek and contemporary with high-end toiletries. Location: This hotel is perfect for anyone wanting to experience the best of Chicago. Not only are you close to Michigan Avenue's shopping and dining, but you're also a short walk from cultural attractions like the Art Institute and Millennium Park. Abit far from the subway/metro lines but taking the bus was convenient as well.

GGuest UserPerhaps it was the off-season, but the price was great. The location is excellent, and the service was good. There's a big supermarket right across the street, which is super convenient. Plus, there are Japanese and Cantonese restaurants nearby that are delicious. If I come back, I'd definitely stay here again.

It is also convenient to go to the surrounding attractions. There is a McDonald's downstairs, which is also very convenient. The sanitation environment of the room is very good, but the sound insulation feels a little poor.

GGuest UserWhen I got to the hotel the only luggage assistance was from the taxi driver. After you check in at ground floor you go up to 15 to change elevators but as there was no help with bags they need better signs. The room was fine and clean until it began to rain and the leak by the window made for a few interesting moments. Breakfast bar was okay but a little limited for the price. At check out I had to ask twice (two different people for the taxi). I should have picked the Holiday Inn.

TTerence CaoBe careful, there is a hidden charge ”A $25 daily urban experience fee will be charged to each room” at this hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. The breakfast charge is very tricky if you have prepaid. 1st you have to argue that you have prepaid for the breakfast for each person in the room. 2nd you need to ask and confirm with the front desk how much the credit is for the breakfast you have paid (my case $38 for each person daily, covers taxes and tips). It is not buffet breakfast, you need to pay extra when you check out if you have ordered more than your credit for the breakfast. When I asked that if I missed one breakfast, can I use the extra credit for the next day. The answers were different from different staff members. A very expensive hotel focusing on big conferences, there are no microwave oven, empty refrigerator (you can request) in the room and swimming pool. Do not lift up the drinks and snacks in the box on the table (there are sensors underneath) unless you don't mind to be charged. The existing refrigerator is full of drinks. I was afraid to touch it, even the concierge didn't know how to open the refrigerator lock. But the coffee and tea are free. There is a person (not housekeeper) comes to the room to check and refill all the drinks and snacks including the free ones. We booked our room many weeks earlier, after we checked in I realized that the room prices dropped comparing our original prices, maybe not enough conference people attending. Hope the information is helpful for you.

However, Ctrip completely failed to inform me that, besides the $15 city tax, there was also a $4 miscellaneous fee, and what's even more infuriating, a compulsory $25 charge. The staff member who checked me in deliberately withheld this information. After checking out, my card was then hit with exorbitant charges.

GGuest UserI was there because of the Chicago marathon. I stayed in the hotel for totally 3 nights and the experience was alright. It is easy to access to public transport but still if you look for a hotel with better neighborhood, it is recommended to stay near the Magnificent Mile area.

Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.
