There are many hotels near Kunming Railway Station, and I chose the newest one! The hotel is clean and tidy, and the lobby offers free drinks and coffee. Xiao Wang and Xiao Chen at the front desk had excellent service attitudes! The breakfast selection was rich, and after the rice noodles were cooked, the auntie even kindly reminded me that the freshly fried eggs tasted even better. The service awareness was exceptionally good!

I have to give a huge shout-out to the service at this hotel! From the warm tea offered by the front desk at check-in to the meticulous cleaning by the housekeeping staff every day, everything felt incredibly thoughtful. The room, though not large, was fully equipped and thoughtfully designed. The complimentary bottled water and snacks were a pleasant surprise. The location is convenient, and the surroundings are very quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. It's just a few minutes' walk from the high-speed train station. I'll definitely be back next time!

A full five-star review for the Atour Hotel Kunming Railway Station North Square! The service was truly exceptional. During check-in, I casually mentioned I might need a nail clipper, and later that evening, I wanted some honey water. To my surprise, the front desk remembered both requests and responded incredibly quickly, delivering them to my room almost immediately. What was even better, they upgraded me to an Executive Twin Room for free – it was spacious and very comfortable. The next day, the breakfast buffet was also extensive and delicious, allowing me to enjoy a hearty meal before catching my early train without any rush. This stay was full of thoughtful details. Highly recommended!

GreenTree Inn once again didn't disappoint! The cleanliness was top-notch; every corner was spotless, and there wasn't any strange odor. The room was spacious and bright, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which was really convenient to use. The staff were friendly and responsive to our needs. The environment was quiet, allowing for a great night's rest. It's affordable, yet the quality is consistently good. I'll definitely choose GreenTree Inn again in the future.

The family room was great, our whole family was very satisfied. The environment was lovely, and the front desk lady was polite and enthusiastic. A big thanks to the cleaning staff who tidied our room daily; it was spotless and everything was restocked. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere. The hotel's location is excellent, near the train station and close to the subway, making it easy to get to all the city's attractions. It's super convenient! About 100 meters from the hotel, there's a Xishuangbanna Dai-style restaurant that serves delicious food at reasonable prices – fantastic value for money. Across the street, there's a Jiahua Flower Cake shop that sells the best flower cakes we've had in our four days here. My mom and I especially loved their Xiangfei cake, and we even bought two boxes to take home when we left Kunming. The flower cakes at the hotel's breakfast restaurant were also very tasty.

I was going to write a review and then realized I didn't take a single photo of the hotel the whole time 😂 I usually like to document my life, so the fact that I didn't take any pictures probably means there wasn't anything particularly captivating about the place. The only photo I have saved is a screenshot of the hotel information from when I ordered takeout, just in case I filled in the wrong room number. Our three families traveled together and booked three rooms. There wasn't much of a view outside the window, and overall, it was pretty standard. The front desk service was neither overly enthusiastic nor bad, just average. The most frustrating part was that we arrived around 6 PM, expecting to check in smoothly and rest. Instead, we were told the rooms weren't ready yet. After a tiring day of traveling, not being able to check in immediately was a really poor experience and definitely put a damper on our mood. Hotels usually have a check-in time of 2 PM at the latest; this was the first time I've ever encountered a delay where we couldn't get into our rooms even by 6 PM.

The hotel features a revolving restaurant on the 23rd floor. Breakfast is a 50 RMB per person buffet, consisting entirely of vegetarian dishes, with no meat. Despite that, the breakfast spread is quite ample. What's most commendable is the hotel lobby, which is particularly spacious, bright, and grand. On the first floor, there's also a Dalian Japanese restaurant, a bar, and an à la carte restaurant, all boasting unique and elegant decor. Walking south from the hotel, it's about a ten-minute stroll to Kunming Station. Just about 100 meters east of Kunming Station, you can catch a direct shuttle bus to Kunming Airport, or even shared rides, both costing 25 RMB per person.

This hotel offers a really great experience! It's very new, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly. The room type we originally booked was a bit small, but the front desk kindly upgraded our room, which we really appreciated 👍. The hotel is very tidy and clean, and the room feels very comfortable. The bathroom has plenty of space and a convenient wet/dry separation. The bed is also very comfortable. The location is excellent, right near the train and subway stations, and a mall is close by, making it easy to go out for food and shopping. The hotel staff are very attentive and considerate in helping us solve any issues. Overall, it's a fantastic choice. We'll definitely stay here again next time! 🥰

LLi dmThis is a really great hotel. Although it's not very big, the service, facilities, and attention to detail are all excellent. The staff are also incredibly welcoming and always greet you when they see you. They offer laundry service, and the breakfast is pretty good – it has everything you'd expect. The amenities are also high-quality, and they even gave us a small souvenir upon checkout. The room was quiet too. The quality control of the facilities is top-notch! We also had a dedicated butler for our check-in! If I ever come back to Kunming, I would definitely choose to stay here again and would recommend it to friends! Just a small suggestion: if they could add more welcome fruits and evening milk service, it would be absolutely perfect! This is just a sincere suggestion based on my previous hotel experiences. Finally, I wish the staff all the best in their work and good health! And I wish the owner a prosperous business and abundant wealth!

GGuest UserWe chose this hotel for its convenient location when traveling with our child. When we first arrived, it felt like a hidden gem, tucked away in Jingxing Flower Street. You can find plenty of food and drinks right downstairs – all sorts of rice noodles, flower cakes... everything you could want! Plus, it's next to a large shopping complex and right by Wuyi Road Metro Station, exit B or C, which is close and has an elevator. Despite being in a lively area, it's surprisingly quiet! The room was quite new, a bit small, but perfectly fine for my child and me. The price was great too! It's an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers.

LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.
