It has been for dacades, so a bit outdated. We even had a small cockroach in the room 😨 well is quiet normal in Taiwan 😟

Breakfast was very good. The hotel has a parking lot, which is very convenient. The only drawback is that there are only two elevators, which is usually fine. However, when a group of tour bus passengers enter in a swarm, they have to wait for a long time and appear chaotic. Since there are only two elevators and the number of guests is not large, they have to wait slowly. Wait a minute.

The room was very spacious and even came with two desks. The location was also great, with easy parking for both scooters and cars. There's a FamilyMart right across the street, which was super convenient for grabbing anything we needed.

Each culvert house is Each cul-de-sac is designed as a suite. They have their own space. The culverts are fully equipped with all the necessities. All you need to do is bring your luggage and you are ready to move in.There is also the park. There is a large grass area of 1,000 pyeong for children and adults to run and play on. Children can enjoy running and playing on the grass. In the evening, you can have a barbecue area for family and friends.Gathering in the barbecue area to eat, drink and have fun. Wow! What a wonderful night. Great!

The location is quite close to the city, but the road to go is relatively small. You may drive at night and pay attention to the road conditions.

The room was spacious and bright. The bed was super comfortable – I love a soft mattress. The bathroom was spotless, with a separate shower and a bathtub. Breakfast offered a good variety, and they had vegetarian options. In the evenings, you can explore the nearby night market, which has tons of food. The hotel also offers bicycle rentals, which is convenient for exploring the area.

GGuest UserAs with the other reviews, the service here is amazing. You have the option to have your breakfast delivered to your room. During check-in, the staff will personally bring you to your room. If you arrived early or plan to leave sun moon lake much later after check out, you can leave your bags or luggage to the staff to keep. Staff here also offers tickets to the ferry, bicycle rental, cable car and other services available. The only con is that there is no lakeview, but everything else is very accessible. Bus station, Ferry station, 7-11 and restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. As for the room itself, the toilet is equipped with bidet. There's also some snacks and teabags for you. Electric mosquito repellent is also available if there's a need to, but I did not encounter any bugs in the room. Room is also modernly designed and most importantly, clean and bugs-free! Bed is of soft and comfortable type. I nearly dozed off while lying on bed. Wifi's strong as well. Would highly recommend to others who plans to visit sun moon lake. This hotel has almost everything you need, convenience, amazing service, and good food.

GGuest UserGreat location, super close to everything in Ita Thai. Rooms are SO SPACIOUS! I’m 5’4 and I could almost stand up in the pod. There’s even room for your bags next to the bed and the whole pod locks so you don’t have to spay for a separate locker.
Staff are friendly. Everything is clean, especially the bathroom/shower room. There’s a kitchen area on ground floor and a rooftop. It wasn’t a sociable hostel really, but I wasn’t there for that so it was perfect.

XXinluoyuanThe highlight of choosing the Fleur de Chine Hotel at Sun Moon Lake was the complimentary shuttle service to and from Taichung HSR station. Besides the excellent service and beautiful scenery, the hotel rooms not only have their own hot springs but there's also a public hot spring for guests to enjoy. Breakfast is served until 12 PM, and dinner includes a complimentary bottle of wine per table. The beds in the rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the mini-fridge is stocked with free drinks. In the afternoon, there's a shuttle bus service to the pier, and if you want to take the round-the-lake bus, they even provide a free one-day pass. The shuttle back to Taichung departs at 12 PM, so I regrettably didn't get a chance to visit many attractions. I'll definitely come back if I have the opportunity.

GGuest UserThe message response was quick, and the landlady was incredibly friendly and hospitable. She provided many practical suggestions about local tourism and also recommended a list of restaurants, which were all delicious.
We stayed in a family room this time. There were two shower rooms and two toilets! It was great that there was no need to fight for the toilet among five people. The hot water was plenty of hot! 👍👍
The guesthouse also offered parking discounts. I would definitely choose this place again next time! 👍

廖廖國志First row lake view, the scenery is absolutely stunning. The accommodation itself is also excellent. The breakfast may not look huge, but it has everything you could want and tastes delicious. Having a bathtub in the room was a great luxury. The hotel also conveniently sells various tour packages, tickets, and boat tickets. Parking was no issue either. The hotel is right on Ita Thao's liveliest street, making for a truly fantastic experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location, making it convenient to get around and explore the area. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful, which made the stay pleasant and welcoming. The bathroom appears to have been renovated recently and is clean and modern.
However, the carpet in the room and in the common areas are quite dated and does not meet current standards. An update would significantly improve the overall comfort and impression of the room. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay thanks to the location and service, but some room upgrades—particularly the carpet—would make a noticeable difference.

Soundproofing is a bit poor, and the lighting at night is slightly insufficient. There's a water dispenser, which is convenient. There are quite a few mosquitoes and bugs in the mountains, so I suggest adding screens to the doors or installing screen doors.

The hotel is ideally located in Shuishe, a stop for the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle, offering convenient transportation while still being quiet. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Sun Moon Lake Visitor Center where you can catch the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle and the round-the-lake bus. Since there aren't many shops or food stalls in Shuishe at night, we chose a room package that included dinner. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style at the hotel, allowing us to relax and enjoy, offering great value for money. The in-room bathtub was perfect for a hot soak, which was very convenient. The service was excellent, and both my friend and I were very satisfied. We'd be happy to book this hotel again next time.

Room booked was all lake view double suite, quite disappointed with the space, but the lake view is still great (no balcony)
Towel and other stuffs are not provided for free, they got a price list for it, so its better to prepare small towel when visit. (hair dryer provided)
Services was great, very nice and kind to customers.
Breakfast provided, it was buffet form of local dishes (porridges and sides, with drinks as well)
Overall Rating 7.5/10, its a great place to stay, but might not visit again in a mean time.
