"My second stay here Great location at a good price, in Edinburgh you will be outside most of the day in this great city so you just need a comfortable sleep at a good location which this hotel provides as it's at the tip of the royal mile and only few mins walk to Waverley bridge where you can get the airport express bus and also the train station, rooms have good Balmoral view Just avoid the corner rooms cuz they have sluggish internet connection"

"This hotel was in a great location. 5 minutes walk from the shopping mall. 2 minutes walk from the tram stop and only 10 minutes walk to some of the main attractions in Edinburgh. The staff at the desk were extremely polite and helpful and even looked after our bags when we checked out so we could go and see another sight in Edinburgh before leaving. The only downside is due to this being an old building there was no elevator available which didn’t affect us but would be an issue for elderly or disabled people."

"Great hotel. Very comfy beds. Powerful shower with lovely 'Arran' toiletries. New aircon so wont be great in summer but was fine in November. Staff very friendly and restaurant meals were delicious. Very good selection at breakfast."

"Wonderful location with an adorable room. I also bought a some food for a pack lunch for a tour the next day but there wasn’t a fridge and the staff was super helpful by keeping the food in a fridge until the morning for me."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view from the window was absolutely amazing and really made my day — waking up to such a beautiful scene instantly put me in a great mood. The front desk staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, which made check-in and communication very smooth. The Christmas decorations were stunning and created such a warm, festive atmosphere throughout the hotel. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. Overall, this stay made me feel relaxed and genuinely happy. I would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to others."
