From the moment we booked the room, a dedicated butler group was created for us. They bought our round-trip ferry tickets, and upon disembarking, a butler was waiting at the pier to help with our luggage—we didn't have to carry anything ourselves. Our butler, Isak, was incredibly thoughtful. He not only planned a route to Gulangyu Island that avoided the crowds, but also went out to buy me medicine when he knew I wasn't feeling well. This friend-like care was so heartwarming. The room's details were impeccable: Aesop toiletries, a Wenxian turndown fragrance, a handwritten welcome note, a complimentary minibar, and even a different set of Gulangyu poems on gold-flecked paper by the bedside each day. The turndown service drew the curtains, lit the aromatherapy, and even prepared a meditation chair—truly taking ”natural healing” to the extreme.

This B&B is absolutely beautiful! It's very close to the sea, and the rooms are wonderfully quiet – you can't hear any outside noise. The view from the window, with trees and the ocean, is incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. The reception service was exceptionally nice; even before I stepped onto the B&B's doorstep, a staff member rushed out to help us with our luggage. Every single staff member (including the auntie who cleaned the rooms!) was soft-spoken and very gentle. The breakfast was also delicious! I booked for three nights, and every morning I woke up to a different breakfast spread. You can tell this B&B genuinely takes pride in itself and truly cares about every guest who stays here! Highly recommend!!

I had a very satisfying stay this time. The hotel's overall environment is excellent, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the swimming pool is also great. Staff helped with luggage both upon arrival and departure, which was a very thoughtful service. I particularly liked the hotel's WeChat concierge service. You can just contact them directly via WeChat for any needs, and they respond and handle requests very promptly, which is extremely convenient. I informed them in advance that we would be arriving very early in the morning, and they made suitable arrangements for us as soon as we got to the hotel! Overall, from the environment and facilities to the service, everything felt very comfortable. I will definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Xiamen! 👍

This is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

This hotel is closest to Piano Wharf and not far from Sanqiutian Wharf. It's very close to the shore, yet tucked away in a quiet spot. On the way, you'll pass the Gulangyu Museum. My room was on the first floor and was well-decorated and very clean. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

First of all, the location is pretty amazing. There are plenty of really good food around. The street food nearby is decent, albeit a little pricey. A few of the restaurants nearby are very good for the price. It's also super close within walking distance to a Sam's Club, which is the China equivalent of a CostCo or Walmart.. You'll need membership to get in, so do try to get a friend to help. Ordering deliveries from Taobao or ******* to this hotel was also pretty amazing. Everything came ahead of time and unbroken. Every room's sound isolation was amazing, with heavy doors that were sealed down to the very bottom edges. The carpark was also VERY large. It was enough for 3 large tour buses to park overnight, and yet still had room for lots of cars and bikes. Hotel service was responsive, but was not proactive and lacked initiative. What's bad are the facilities and attention to detail: 1) They put air purifiers next to wide open windows. What's the point of that? Are you trying to filter the air for the entire city? 2) We were given non-smoking rooms, but there are ash trays in the rooms and the whole corridors and elevators smell of cigarettes for the weekend we stayed. Please separate smoking guests on their own floors. 3) The HVAC and air conditioning triggered my allergies the whole stay. I'm pretty sure they do not clean the HVAC pipes and ducts, given the amount of smoking guests.

The location is fantastic, right inside the Shimao Twin Towers. Just downstairs, you'll find the Yanwu Bridge Observation Deck and Shapowei, making it incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing. The room facilities are very new, and the smart home features are easy to use. The soundproofing is also excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The service was very responsive; they even helped us store our luggage after check-out. Definitely a five-star rating!

After all, in a mountain setting surrounded by dense vegetation, a few insects are perfectly normal, and the garden view neatly sidestepped that issue. Opening the window in the morning, the lush green central courtyard came into view. Instead of the city's hustle and bustle, I heard the crisp, pleasant chirping of morning birds and the sweet, fresh air blowing from the mountains. I couldn't help but close my eyes and take several deep breaths. Returning to the room in the evening, I lay on the balcony chair, clearing my mind, sipping an iced cola while enjoying the mountain breeze—this is exactly what a vacation should be like. The room's hardware can be summed up in two words: solid and reliable. Beyond being clean and tidy, the 'rainforest' shower's stable water pressure and temperature were truly impressive. The hotel also thoughtfully implemented a dry-wet separation in the bathroom, completely eliminating the awkwardness of worrying about splashing the toilet while showering. The experience was very comfortable and smooth. The bedding, as always, maintained Le Méridien's high standards, soft, fluffy, and supportive, allowing me to sleep soundly until I woke up naturally. On weekends and holidays, there's even a free shuttle bus connecting to popular attractions like Zhongshan Road and Baicheng Beach. One evening, a guest was inconsiderately skipping rope upstairs; after calling the front desk, they responded immediately and resolved the issue quickly! Truly commendable! Conclusion On the day of check-out, the morning sun still gently warmed the garden view balcony, as if possessing a magic that made me reluctant to close the door and leave. To be honest, I've stayed in many hotels, but rarely have I felt such a pang of reluctance upon departure as this time. Came to Xiamen to see the sea and stayed at this apartment. It was a really heartwarming experience. First off, the hygiene was impeccable, and secondly, the price was very affordable for most people, around a hundred yuan, which is incredible value for money. The provided dryer was particularly practical; it meant I didn't have to carry a bunch of extra clothes while traveling, which was super convenient. Downstairs, there's a shopping area, making it easy to get around. The owner's service was also very warm and appropriate. Overall, a very comfortable experience.
