"Traveling to Chengde, I discovered this hotel right next to the Summer Resort. More accurately, it's actually part of the Summer Resort itself, so it's just a few steps walk to the main entrance. You can also take a short bus ride to the Puning Temple (Little Potala Palace) and the Panchen Lama's Residence, which is super convenient! The Qiwang Building Hotel itself has really beautiful and exquisite scenery inside, you could even do a travel photoshoot there, haha. In short, it's really pleasant to stroll around after dinner. And they even have deer and peacocks! What a delightful surprise! The room was spacious, bright, comfortable, and clean. If I come to Chengde again, I'd definitely choose Qiwang Building again!"

"I stayed at the Puning Hotel for two nights and three days, and it was an amazing value. The hotel has a traditional Chinese garden style, making you feel like you've stepped into a secluded paradise. On the rooftop, I enjoyed coffee, a gentle breeze, mountain views, and the sight of the Chan Temple – a perfect blend of classical and modern. Traveling solo, I visited museums, paid respects at the Chan Temple, explored the local market, and even fed the hotel's pet deer. It was a beautiful way to enjoy some leisure time away from my busy work life. The front desk, room service, and dining staff were all excellent, and the owner was very kind. All in all, it was love at first sight. Amenities: Fully equipped Cleanliness: Spotless Environment: Elegant and refreshing Service: Like being at home"

"承德皇家园林希尔顿欢朋酒店 We stayed for 2 nights. It located from railway station for 15-mins walk. The hotel was new & everywhere was clean & tidy. Hot showering water was ready all the time. The best things were their breakfast where staff Ms 崔& the site officer were very caring & active serve every guest, eg. offer sweeten fungus dessert to help our thorat comfort etc, . The diversity & taste of breakfast was far beyond expectation. Self laundry was good as it did. The worst thing was smoking smell often caught our nose inside lift even prohibition notice posted up! I would come again next time without second thought."

"This hotel deserves a five-star rating for its front desk service, which was far superior to the treatment I received at the Yage Huanju Hotel in Beidaihe. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, thoughtful, and anticipated all our needs. Although the parking lot is small, the attendants proactively helped us park the car. The restaurant staff were patient and provided timely service. All the hotel staff made us feel well taken care of and right at home. The only drawbacks were that the room was a bit small, and the ceiling height was low, which felt a little cramped. The outer pane of the double-glazed window was quite dirty, likely due to the difficulty of cleaning it."

"The hotel's硬件 facilities are genuinely impressive. The lobby is opulent and incredibly luxurious, and the rooms are well-equipped. However, the soft services are truly disappointing. From check-in at the front desk to breakfast, the service attitude wasn't even polite. My family of three arrived for breakfast just 5 minutes before closing, and the front desk insisted we pay immediately before entering. Couldn't they just charge it to the room card, or let us sit down and pay a little later? Also, they strictly ration Nongfu Spring water in the rooms, providing only two bottles per day. If you want more, you get a different brand of bottled water. Is this really the service for a 1.5k room? I had already chosen to extend my stay in the same room at 11 PM on the day of check-in, yet no one contacted me about renewing the room card until 6:27 PM the next day. Good service should be seamless and unobtrusive, but every little thing here made us uncomfortable. I hope the experience improves if I have a chance to visit again."

"The room is very cost-effective and close to the highway exit, which is convenient for self-driving travel. The service of the lady at the front desk is very good. Seeing that we are old and afraid of noise, she upgraded our room. The TV in the room is also very easy to operate. It is much more user-friendly than other hotels, especially friendly to the elderly! It's really good. There is a restaurant downstairs. The double pepper fish fillet is delicious. I will definitely go there again next time."
