Hotels with Parking in San Francisco

I stayed here while attending several business meetings and overall had a very positive experience. The room was exceptionally clean, and I really appreciated the daily housekeeping service, including fresh towels and bed linens. The staff were consistently friendly and professional throughout my stay. The location is excellent, with many restaurants nearby and convenient access to public transportation. My arrival experience was unfortunately not ideal. Because I arrived after midnight, I learned that the hotel had been oversold and I had to spend my first night at a different hotel. This was frustrating, as I had intentionally booked consecutive nights to avoid moving rooms during a busy work trip. However, both the hotel and the booking platform worked to address the situation, and when I returned, I was upgraded to a spacious suite, which I greatly appreciated. The complimentary breakfast was fairly basic, but there was coffee available in the morning, and the hotel also offered evening cocktail hours, although I did not have a chance to try them. There was occasionally some noise from outside at night, but it was manageable. Overall, the cleanliness, professionalism of the staff, convenient location, and the efforts made to resolve the initial issue left me with a very positive impression. I would gladly stay here again.

A classic hotel in a prime location. The issue is that the hotel shows its age when you stay in the towers. Although it's livable, it's disturbing to see the toilet flush brown on the first two uses. Service at the front desk is not my preference because they like to engage in a lot of small talk and I was tired, but some will like that. The destination fee is a bit of a ripoff because they have weird stipulations about when you can use the daily credits and it's not cumulative even though you stayed multiple nights. I lost a day due to that. Couldn't get the wi-fi working for free without the Bonvoy thing either. Due note: do to renovations you have to enter from the south entrance and taxis pick-up on the main entrance on the eastern side.

Very expensive for a B&B. Nice spot in the Castro/ Mission district near Dolores Park. Well-maintained & reasonable management. Lots of stairs to go up into main house lobby — wrought iron gates with intercom to buzz to get entry into property. Try to get a room in the older main house to minimize stairs! No AC. They have limited parking spots behind the two B&B houses (access from Dorland St) for US$35./day plus tax which is a steep price. Make sure u book a parking spot in advance. Beautiful garden courtyard in the back. Sadly we never got to use it. Try to get a room that faces the other “house” or the backyard - quieter. We had a front room Deluxe King Room 36 which looked nothing like the sample room photos (only one Room 24 w courtyard view, sofa, coffee table). We got a smaller room approx 290sf vs what we paid for 32sq.m, 344sf, no closet just small armoire to hang a couple of things, no sofa, no coffee table, no balcony. They were kind enough to give us a refund for the price difference between the Deluxe King we booked & the Standard King we got. Had to ask for them to vacuum room. Found tissue under headboard/bed, dusty. Not the kind of room you would want to spend much time in —teeny tiny TV, faced front noisy street with electric bus passing by. No screens in windows so had to close windows at night to keep critters out. Bed was ok. Pillows were synthetic & lumpy. View was of electric lines & school across the street. Beware some electric outlets. One was burnt out. Breakfast was repetitive but nice to eat in a lovely breakfast room or outdoor deck. Hard-boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, muffins/ carbs, American coffee, juices. Fortunately SPRO café was next door if you need a great cappuccino or chai latté! The location was excellent, right in front of Powell Street Station! There were quite a few homeless people around, and I wouldn't say the area felt super safe, but I, as a solo female traveler, had no issues walking around during the day. For one night, I was a bit worried because there was a baseball night game, but since the hotel was right in front of the subway station, it wasn't a problem at all. I didn't expect any amenities, but they provided face soap and something like a moisturizing cream. The room was very clean and perfectly sufficient for a solo trip, though the hallway had a slight, unidentifiable smell. The shower pressure felt a bit weak. However, given the superb location, I'd definitely consider staying here again if I visit San Francisco.

HI San Francisco Downtown Hostel is a fantastic budget-friendly option for travelers looking to stay in the heart of the city. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from Union Square, public transit, and major attractions like Chinatown and the Ferry Building. The hostel is clean, secure, and well-maintained, with both dormitory and private room options. Guests often praise the friendly staff, organized activities, and free or low-cost breakfast. The room is clean. There is no complimentary bottled of water from the hotel. Instead, they ask you to go to the water fountain to get the water supply. There is a usd 15 credit per room if you want to have meal at the restaurant.

Despite the many bad reviews I saw online, I decided to take a leap of faith. Overall, this hotel is great value. For the location and price, I really don’t think it gets any better. You might find a cheaper hotel but it’s probably within Tenderloin and not worth risking your safety to save money. Here’s my honest review: Location: Amazing convenience, walking distance from great diners and shopping area. It is also relatively quiet at night (though this might depend on where your window faces) Amenities: The air con is indeed very loud. The fan makes a slight hum. The heater is silent. Depending on how you intend to sleep, this is a crucial factor. Coffee machine is provided, but there’s no drinking water. Only cold spa water is available at the lobby from a dispenser. You can also tell that the hotel is pretty old, but everything still works fine and it’s quite clean. Bed: Mattress and pillows quite firm and comfortable. Breakfast: This surpassed my expectations. Selection is limited but sufficient and good quality. There’s hot food (bacon / sausage / eggs) and also simple offerings like cereal and bread. Service: Great service. I changed my room twice. Initially I did not want a room near the elevator, and after that I was hoping to get a room with a silent air con. Did not happen. So please note, the air con is LOUD.

Centrally located, convenient for travel, and in a safe area. The staff were excellent, very attentive and always cheerful.

All of the staff seemed really nice. From the moment we arrived and had a friendly greeting from the valet parking worker, to the ladies that we interacted with in reception. The room was nothing special, but by that I mean it had no outstanding features, or any distinguishable traits that would separate it from other hotels The concierge was friendly and helpful, and was very useful in helping us to plan our activities. And the hotel is in a good location to get to the pier or do the 'big bus' tour. But here's the downside. The gym is small, had no steriliser, or wipes, even though one of the rules stated in the gym is to wipe down the equipment after use. And the overall impression of the gym is that it could do with a really good clean from top to bottom. Added to that there's the washing machine and tumble dryer located in the gym. Yes that's right, in the actual gym. Now we were very happy when we read about the hotel having washing machine facilities, but we were slightly surprised at it's location. Another thing was the air con. We stayed in September and although the weather for the season was just starting to cool down after the summer, it was still fairly warm. The air con looked as if it had been fitted in the seventies and made a sound as if it had been running non stop ever since then. It was so noisy that we had to turn it off completely at night time and at different times during the day. On a final point we received news regarding the death of my partner's daughter, which meant that we had to cut our whole vacation short including this leg of the trip. We informed the front desk that we would be checking out one day early. We were not expecting a refund, for that day, but after being told by the member of staff that the 30 dollar a night 'destination fee' would be waived for the night that we were not going to be there, we later found out that this fee had still been added to the final bill. We still have no idea what a 'destination fee' is, but to be charged it when we weren't even at the hotel was extra galling. And what was also strange was the fact they didn't even ask why it was that we had decided to cut our stay short? Would you not be interested to know whether something was wrong with your customers stay, and to know why they had cut their visit short?? A bit of a poor end to a otherwise 'ok' stay at the hotel.

Hotel location is close to major attractions, easily accessible via public transportation and also provides parking facilities at a reasonable price. Comes with free breakfast which includes pastries, fruits and great coffee.
