Scenic Hotels in Seoul

"The front desks for all three hotels are in one location, and I was able to check in smoothly earlier than scheduled thanks to prior online communication. The hotel is very close to Unseo Station, and there's an Olive Young and several convenience stores downstairs, which is super convenient."

"Location: First time staying in Yeongdeungpo; it's a short walk from the airport limousine bus stop so that was convenient. There's a Starbucks and C U convenience store right outside the hotel. YDP station and Lotte Department Store are a short walk away, though I recommend taking a short bus ride to the Hyundai Department Store. It's also near the Yeouido Hangang Park. Room: Layout is a little strange as other reviewers have noted, and indeed there's very little space to open your suitcase. I placed mine at the wardrobe area, which meant it was a little difficult to access the clothes I hung up. I liked the two couches against the window. Toilet: The sink is the first thing you see when you enter the room. I didn't like how the shower and toilet shared a door, and there's no bidet for the toilet. Water pressure and temperature control for both the rain shower and handheld shower were good. Bed: Fairly comfy, however it was the first time I've ever experienced a creaky hotel bed. Miscellaneous: Might be a minor thing for most but the room slippers were a joke...the top part was literally paper and difficult to slip on and off because of the way the paper was folded. Fridge was small and not very cold but did its job. Lobby is small and only has one seating area, so it's not a place to chill or wait around long. Staff were friendly, and I was allowed to check in slightly earlier than 3pm. Checkout was fuss-free."

"The rooms are quite spacious, with two 1.5-meter beds, which is very convenient and roomy for a family of four. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace. Myeongdong is within walking distance, and there's a Tiger Bus stop right outside, which is very convenient. The hotel also offers luggage storage service, which is a thoughtful touch."

"The hotel’s facilities and policies were not good at all. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and almost everything else were charged separately. You could simply make the room rate slightly higher and provide at least a toothbrush for guests. The bathroom was very small, and there was nowhere to place shampoo bottles or other toiletries. The slippers were not disposable; they were plastic slippers, which raised hygiene concerns. On our last day, they did not even provide a bottle of water because we were checking out that day. The service was terrible, although the location was good."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway and bus stops. You can easily walk to the Hanok village near Changdeokgung Palace, and Gwangjang Market is also very nearby. At the eastern end of the market, there are fruit shops, so you can really indulge in fresh fruit. Downstairs, there's a supermarket that seems to be open all the time, so no matter how late you come back, you can always find something to buy. We were given a room facing north, which offered fantastic views of the mountains and the palace. The bed in the room was large, and there were no strange odors, making it perfect for a family trip."

"I've stayed here twice already, and every time I visit Korea, I want to stay here. The location is super convenient, with the airport bus taking you directly to the hotel, and plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It's just so convenient! The front desk staff are also very enthusiastic, and the room is spacious enough, making for a comfortable stay. The only downside is that the cleanliness isn't up to par. There were hairs on the floor and sticky residue by the bed, which I ended up cleaning myself. The disposable cups also showed signs of being used, so I guess the previous guest used them and put them back, and the cleaning staff didn't check or replace them. I hope they can improve their hygiene. Other than the cleanliness, everything else is great."

"I chose this hotel again, and it felt like rooms were a bit tight during the summer. This time I booked a king-size room; the bed was quite large, but the room itself was a bit small. In hindsight, the first room I stayed in was the most spacious, even though it didn't have a view. Aside from the slightly smaller room, everything else was great. The view outside the window was nice too. I'm not sure if it's because I stay here often, but this time they even gave me complimentary chocolates, which was a lovely surprise. I was very satisfied with the softness of the bed; it was super comfortable to sleep on. The air conditioning in the room was also incredibly powerful; sleeping under the duvet was so refreshing. The room temperature was perfect, to the point where I always had the illusion that it wasn't hot outside, even though Seoul has been scorching recently. The room cleaning was also very timely and done very well. Overall, I still feel it's a great place, and given its excellent location, I'm thinking I'll probably choose to stay here again next time."

"The hotel is located near a large outlet mall, but other than that, the area isn't very lively; it's more like an industrial zone. Its main advantage is its proximity to the convention center. Most of the guests are tour groups from India and Indonesia, and the smell of spices is incredibly strong – a real olfactory test in the elevators and restaurant! The hotel room itself was alright, but the bathroom outlet was broken. Not only was the cover falling off, but the hairdryer wouldn't stay plugged in unless you bent over and held it directly in front of the outlet. Everything else was acceptable, I suppose."
