Spa Hotels in Sydney

The hotel itself truly embodies the Capella brand, a renovated old building in Sydney. It seamlessly blends modern design with local culture, doing an excellent job of integrating with its surroundings, making it a benchmark for luxury hotels. We were upgraded to a Skyline Suite, but to be honest, it wasn't as stunning as expected. The suite felt a bit small for a suite, and due to its location, the buildings are quite close together, so privacy might be slightly compromised. Breakfast was decent, nothing extraordinary. Overall, it still maintains the distinct Capella vibe.

Had a fantastic stay! The location is super convenient, really close to Sydney Airport, and the train station is just a 5-minute walk away. You can get to the city center in about 30 minutes by tram. There are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket around the apartment. The room was spacious and comfortable – a really nice serviced apartment. I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance!

I arrived at the hotel at 10 AM for an early flight, and to my surprise, they already let me check in! This is the first time in dozens of international trips that I've been able to check in so early, which left a fantastic first impression. I booked for four nights. There was a construction site right opposite my room. For the first two nights, which were the weekend, they only worked during the day, so my sleep wasn't disturbed. However, on the third day, a weekday, to my utter disbelief, this thundering Sydney decided not to do construction during the day in the CBD, but instead worked all night long!!... I couldn't sleep a wink and called the front desk to ask for a room change. So, for the last night, they even upgraded my room type. Overall, the hotel's location is excellent, within a 15-minute walk to most popular spots, and not far from Circular Quay. The building's architecture strongly resembles the Wukang Building in Shanghai, which gives it a familiar and comforting feel. All the staff were incredibly friendly and kind. If I visit Sydney again, I would definitely choose to stay here!

The hotel is located right in front of the tram station, which made getting around super easy. Wynyard and Martin Place train stations are just a short walk away, and Circular Quay is also a pleasant stroll. I liked that the kitchen and sleeping areas were separate, and being able to open the window for ventilation meant no lingering smells. There was one day when the tram service was suspended, which was a bit inconvenient, especially since the subway was also shut down over the weekend for us.

We recently stayed at Amora Jamison Sydney as a group of six colleagues for 3 nights of client meetings in the CBD, and the experience was seamless. The location near Wynyard Station made commuting effortless, and the rooms were quiet, spacious, and well-appointed for working in the evenings. Having great on-site dining and bars (especially Silo Bar and Croft for breakfast) made team syncs hassle-free without needing advance dinner reservations every night. Staff were efficient and accommodated our group billing without a hitch. We will definitely keep Amora at the top of our corporate booking list for future Sydney trips.

Wonderful family trip staying at the Darling at the Star! Location is good, very close to Fish Market, nice atmosphere with cozy cafes & restaurants at close vicinity (and a large Coles too!) Stunning view of the Darling Harbour. Room is neat & spacious. Staff were extremely helpful, especially credits to a Front Desk Staff named Tristan settling my room arrangement & bill issue very efficiently. Highly recommend this hotel!

First time in Sydney and I snagged a fantastic hotel! The location is pretty central with great transport links and a ton of restaurants and drink shops nearby (McDonald's, KFC, Jasmine Milk Tea, Super Tea, etc.). There are also two supermarkets, Woolworths and Coles, both within easy reach, making grocery runs super convenient. Plus, it's just a few minutes' walk to Town Hall, Town Hall train station, and the light rail station. The hygiene was good too; they cleaned the room every three days, and if we had any trash, we'd just take it to the rubbish room ourselves. The only downside was the strong cooking smell from the restaurant at night, especially on Fridays, which would waft into the room even with the door closed. After we mentioned it to the hotel, they offered to move us to a higher floor.

Clean, tidy and warm overall environment, satisfactory service

Overall, we were very satisfied. The front desk staff were friendly and even gave us a bottle of wine and a card for our anniversary. The room was spacious and bright, with a washing machine and dryer, and all the amenities were excellent. There was also plenty of living room and kitchen space. The location was very close to the railway, with many food options nearby. Although basic cleaning was only provided every four days, it was sufficient. The only drawback was that on our last two nights, we noticed cockroaches crawling out from the drain. I believe they came in because insecticide was placed in the wine, so hopefully, this can be addressed to avoid giving the impression of poor hygiene.

Beautiful hotel to visit in the city and staffs are very kind and nice. Very short distance to Barangaroo reserve, perfect place to stroll after dinner.
