3-Star Hotels in West-Flanders, Belgium

Girard at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was amazing with one of the best views of the canal we could have hoped for!  Location was perfect.  Highly recommended!  Breakfast was very good and worth getting. Hard to find breakfast before 11 anywhere else.

This word of mouth is not from Hotel Het Gesterikhof. When we headed to the hotel, there was a sticker on the door saying, ”We are arranging to stay at another hotel because it is under renovation” (as of early February). I was surprised because I didn't contact you in advance, but I will arrive in about 10 minutes on foot to another hotel written there. I was able to stay at an upgraded hotel without any problems and no additional charges, but I wanted you to inform me by email at least.

The hotel is located near the canals and next to a carrefour express so convenient to get grocery. The room is quite spacious and clean My room has a good view of the church of lady

Location is what stood out for me first - the ease to roam around Brugge as a solo traveler has really been perfected by this. The bar staff is so knowledgeable as well about local beers and I do get that it’s their job, but he’s explained clearly without being condescending at all as it was my first time visiting and I am quite particular about my beer. I was there between 13-16 June 2026 - if any Martins Brugge hotel is reading this, please send my thank you

We had a nice time at Talbot House. The big plus is the historic value of the place, as we visited the area to learn more about WWI. So amazing to be able to explore the house and talk to the volunteer working here. Other things we liked were the friendly service and breakfast. Also big plus we could bring our dog, staying in the garden house. With the cold whilst we were there, not having central heating was a bit of a struggle as the aircon is only on during the afternoon/evening and harder to set to a consistent temperature. Also the shared bathroom’s window couldn’t be closed, so absolutely freezing to go to. Last, our room was on the small side and felt a bit cramped especially with our dog. But overall good value for money.

The location is excellent, central with everything nearby including supermarkets. Cleanliness is acceptable. BUT the comfort is a DISASTER, soundproofing is non-existent so you can hear out everything, and worst of all, there was a bass-like sound 24/7 (I think from HVAC) which made it too hard to fall asleep, even ear plugs didn't help.

The hotel is nicely located a short distance away from the train station, directly opposite the concert hall, and in walking distance to the city centre. The room was recently refurbished and was very clean. The windows block out noise very well, although it is a quieter area. Good location and friendly staff

Extremely satisfied with my stay. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, which immediately gave a pleasant feeling. Despite its central location, it was remarkably quiet, with no noise disturbance, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location is ideal: close to all necessary facilities and within walking distance of the city center. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Ypres.

Great location close to the centre but away from the noise. Front desk were friendly and I was able to store my bicycle, although a shame you have to pay extra for this. Bed was comfy and room has needed amenities. Breakfast options were a bit limited but well stocked considering how busy it got. I would stay here again if revisiting Bruges.
