This hotel has one of the friendliest reception desk. The elderly uncle manning the front desk was most helpful. When we came back late one night and when the carpark was full. He helped arrange for us to park at the station carpark with no additional costs. And he patiently guided us to the location with a hand drawn map. The local breakfast provided was much enjoyed. Simple fare but it was filling. And it was actually quite enjoyable. Enclosed pictures of our local Japanese breakfast over the 2 days that we stayed in the hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance to the train station. And under the train station there's a supermarket which use super convenient to grab some grocery items for the stay.

I had a great stay. The owners are super lovely and will go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend the breakfast and dinners, they were great for big days of hiking and convenient as there aren't too many food options up in the mountains. The train carriages have a large sleeping area and a connected large room to store your things or just to hang out. Yes the pillows are like a bag of rice but it's part of the experience! Great place to stay and great value.

I don't know if it's because I was staying alone, but the room facilities were really great! The bed was big, there was a sofa, TV, microwave, and fridge! The bathtub was also big and nice! It felt like the largest bathtub I've seen in a Japanese hotel. For this price and room condition, I would definitely stay here again. It's super convenient as it's right in front of the station. You just need to cross one crosswalk, it feels like crossing a small alley... doesn't even take a minute! The surrounding shops close early, and it's a bit far from the main street, so it was nice and quiet at night. Even the shops on the main street all close by 5 PM! However, you might be a bit surprised when you first check-in. You just need to enter the password correctly at the front of the building and go in to check-in. There's no one there, so you might feel a bit flustered. There are stairs leading to the check-in area, so if you have a lot of luggage, I recommend leaving it downstairs, checking in first, getting your room assignment, and then moving your bags! If you get a room on the first floor, you'll have to carry them back down! I heard there's an onsen on the rooftop, but I didn't go, so I don't know. Also, they don't clean the rooms! This didn't bother me much, but they only provide enough towels for one night, regardless of whether you stay for 3 or 4 nights. They tell you to wash them in the washing machine! To use the washing machine conveniently, it's best to shower quickly, start the laundry, and then do other things. Just rinsing, spinning, and drying takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes! Also, unlike a hotel, there are no C-type or USB-type outlets in the room. You definitely need to bring an adapter. It's not like hotels where the power is weak, so I was able to use my curling iron. Since it's convenient to wash towels, I would probably use this place again if I go to Yufuin.

I booked a superior room and it was suitable for four families. The room has four bedding, a sitting table, a washbasin, a toilet, a dresser hanger, etc. There are amenities in the lobby, such as refrigerator vending machines, microwaves, etc. The sour room is not in the room, you have to use the hot spring bath. There are three hot spring baths, which can be reserved for an hour. It's just right for the family to have a hot spring together. There was a person who could speak English, so I used the facilities comfortably.

We stayed as a group of 4, and the room was spacious enough for us. The location is very convenient, with a mall, shops, and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel offers parking for 500 yen per day, and the room rate is very affordable. There are also free drinks available on the ground floor, as well as coin-operated laundry and dryers. One downside is that there is no elevator, but the staff are kind and helpful with carrying luggage. The walls are a bit thin, so you may hear some noise from neighboring rooms, but we were fortunate that other guests were respectful, so it wasn’t a big issue.

About 10 minutes walk from Oita station. The convenience store is right next to it, but it may not be as close as I thought because I need to cross the signal. There are a lot of restaurants if you walk a little for 5 minutes. And I'm glad that there is a large bath on the first floor of the hotel. It seems to be a source of water, but it seems to be heating, and the hot water temperature was a little too hot for me. I hope the water temperature is low so that it can be soaked a little longer.

When I entered the squeeze, the staff brought me a towel and responded very kindly. First pay the bath fee [250 yen/1 person] There is a refrigerator, toilet and yukata in the cherry blossom room. There was no bath cherry blossom range in the room! The futon was warm and surprised The breakfast was a little less than other inns, so it was a cut size! Women may be a little bit painful. Hot springs are always put in front of the hot springs if you put a tag on it. It was hot and very comfortable, probably because of the source ... There is a room up to 3F, but there is no elevator, so it may be difficult for older people. I want to go again because it was really good! Thank you very much!

We had a very nice stay. The room was very pleasant, with a lovely view, and the welcome was very kind. The accommodation is also very well located, close to the sea. Free services are also available, such as the onsen and bicycles. Nothing to complain about, everything was great!

GGuest UserThe hotel location is excellent, right next to Beppu Station – just cross the road from the exit. It has its own hot spring, which is a bit small, but guests can use the hot springs at two other nearby hotels for free. Breakfast is also served at one of those other hotels. The room rate is very affordable for Beppu, offering great value for money.

GGuest UserThe location is remote and the transportation is inconvenient. I called the hotel but they didn't answer the phone, so I had to take a taxi. There are not many taxis in Yufuin... It's about 160 yuan... It's like a small house in the countryside, more suitable for older people to drive by themselves. The surrounding area is very desolate and not recommended for children. There are about 7-8 households in the whole yard, with a total of 4 private baths, which need to be used with a sign. The outdoor pool is also outdoors, and it's very windy and cold in winter... Dinner is OK...

MM475804****The hostess of this B&B is a very neat and tidy lady. She even cleaned our luggage wheels for us and carried our bags upstairs, then reminded me specifically about trash sorting. I was quite diligent about sorting my trash during my two-night stay, which was fine since I'm also very particular about it. Due to the language barrier, on the first night, I went to use the private hot spring and accidentally wore my shoes inside the small cabin. I'll definitely be more careful next time! This B&B is quite clean, and I'd probably stay here again on my next visit!

Mmõmö CåtFor Nida, everyone recommended ”Guishan Pavilion”, but I also saw a Hong Kong blogger. It was the most ordinary hotel I have ever stayed in the whole Kyushu trip and the hot spring was so dirty that I couldn't get into the water. So I cancelled it two weeks ago and found this god based on the hotel's new principle. Xian Hotel has just renovated the hotel room is very large because the price is too cheap, I dare not book a normal room. I chose a room with a mountain view and a bathroom. The focus is on the super many facilities inside. I can't try it in a day. ⋯⋯ Breakfast and dinner are the price of California Motel. It's too exaggerated. 🙈 I didn't hold my seat before I came. He expected to come after the surprise. The details of the hotel were full. The dinners were delicious. The products were exquisite. The locals were visible to the naked eye. There were no tour groups.

In the ”Zoo” of Yufuyuan, check in at the cashier's desk. The clerk will take you to the room to tell you how to use the equipment, hot springs, etc., and will help you carry your luggage. It’s really the feeling of a fairy tale world, the quiet room is big, and the hot springs are no one. It is also close to Jinlin Lake and is worth a try.
