3-Star Hotels in Shandong, China

This was my first time staying at an Atour Light hotel. The style is really interesting, with a predominantly blue theme, making it feel more geared towards a younger crowd. The room size was pretty standard, not particularly large, but the cleanliness and service were excellent in every aspect. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and quickly helped with any requests we had. However, the biggest issue with the room was the poor soundproofing. You could clearly hear people laughing or talking loudly in nearby rooms. This is definitely something that could use improvement.

I spent a weekend here, and it was a great experience! My apartment was absolutely fantastic, offering breathtaking views from the 42nd floor. Waking up to that sea view every morning was truly a highlight of my stay. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. The facilities and services provided by the hotel are top‑notch. The hotel staff are helpful and professional. I am glad I chose this hotel for my trip! I genuinely enjoyed every moment spent there. Location is great because our intention was to be in the Laoshan District. Might not be easy if most of your plans are in the touristy areas such as the Tsingtao Brewery Museum. Anyway, there is Metro (underground subway) which helped us address that in case we wanted to have a look at downtown. The hotel is a 10 min walk from either Haiyou or Haichuan stations in Line 2. We’re not so much of a fan of Chinese food for breakfast, so the free breakfast was not fascinating for us. They did have eggs and bread. There is an elevator to help us carry or luggage all the way to our floors. And the room was neat and clean, and they clean it every time we’re out.

Confucius said, 'Climb Mount Tai and the world becomes small.' I say, 'Stay at Shenqi Hotel and feel utterly relaxed.' **Location:** Perched at the very top of Mount Tai, this is the closest spot to watch the sunrise. **Facilities:** Comfortable and inviting, the hotel offers a wide range of options to suit every guest's needs, including multi-person bunk beds, twin rooms, king rooms, scenic view rooms, suites, and even presidential suites. **Service:** From the front desk to housekeeping and the restaurant, all staff members are incredibly warm and attentive. Whenever I needed assistance, they went above and beyond to help – truly worthy of a state-owned enterprise! Thumbs up! 👍👍👍

It is really comfortable hotel for business trip. We like it. Room also is clean, reception girls help to us to book TAXI that our respect for all personal in hotel. Thank you guys

Really recommend this hotel on the edge of Yantai Golden Beach! It's a pet-friendly ceiling 🐶 The front desk staff is super friendly to the dog, the whole service is warm and intimate, and the check-in is very fast 💯 The location has nothing to say, going out and crossing the road is the golden beach 🌊, take the hairy children to see the sea, play in the sand, take a walk in one step, the sea view in the evening is super beautiful 🌅 The room is clean and tidy, the lighting and view are very good, and the living is particularly comfortable 🛏️ There is also a laundry room on the first floor 🧺, it is super convenient to change and wash for long-distance travel, and the details are full! Stay comfortable and have fun. Bring the hairy children to Yantai Golden Beach to play. This one can really close your eyes and rush 🌟.

I called before checking in to confirm that parking was free. When I checked in, the front desk didn't even ask if I had a car. Turns out you need a parking voucher for the security guard to get free parking. When we drove out, we told the security guard we were staying at the hotel, but he didn't mention needing a voucher and just made us pay for parking. This is the first time I've stayed at a hotel this price that doesn't even provide complimentary bottled water.

This hotel is right by the sea, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. You're just a few steps away from seeing the ocean, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. The room was absolutely huge, and the price was very reasonable. Shandong people are so generous! Next time I'm in Qingdao, I'm definitely staying here again. Highly recommended!

Here's another 'small but perfectly formed' place, exceeding my expectations – I actually had the best night's sleep here! 1. After exiting the subway, just keep following the 'VIP Building' (or Plaza Premium Lounge) signs. (Odd that the other two hotels have their names displayed, but Aerotel doesn't, though at least they're all in the same general direction.) 2. I chose a room without a private bathroom, but the communal bathroom wasn't far from my room. I went twice, once in the morning and once at night, for washing and using the toilet, and didn't encounter anyone else. It actually felt a bit like being at home, just stepping out of the room to use the facilities. The room itself isn't big, and the AC control panel is on the ceiling. It has a TV, hangers, and a kettle – everything you need. The window is sealed, but once the AC is on, it doesn't feel stuffy at all; the air feels circulated. 3. If you want a good night's sleep, you definitely need to pull the curtains all the way down. Since I arrived at night, it felt quite dark. To avoid oversleeping, I only pulled them halfway. The next morning, I vaguely heard/dreamt of the sound of rain (or was it someone dragging luggage?). I opened my eyes, and the sunlight was streaming in, making the room so bright! 4. Exiting the room, there's a dedicated security channel, which is super convenient and leads directly past security. BUT! It's quite a trek from the VIP lounge. I walked a long way to V2 to eat some mackerel dumplings, and then after eating, I walked back to the boarding gate… Note: From the subway to the VIP Building/Plaza Premium Lounge is on the first floor. You can print your boarding pass here, then take the elevator next to it up to the third floor to check in. Before boarding, my boarding code wouldn't scan, so I had to go back from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor to print my boarding pass, and then back to the 3rd floor for security. But overall, it was all pretty quick!

If you are getting off near West Qingdao station, this is your hotel to go. It was the best hotel I stayed in Qingdao. Huge spacious very clean high-tech room, polite staff, good service. The hotel felt like it was totally new and it was the biggest room I stayed for a cheap price during my stay in Qingdao. If you need a place around West Qingdao station, this is your hotel to go.
