The studio room was excellent, very warm, and well-equipped. Having four elevators made going up and down very convenient. There was a water dispenser in the hallway, and breakfast was quite good with fresh vegetables. The location is incredibly convenient; the 80 bus stops right in front of the hotel and goes to both the airport and the train station. The view from the window was also fantastic, and they even helped us store our luggage.

We had called ahead to inquire about the triple room, worried that it wouldn't be able to accommodate three people. However, all the rooms were standard double rooms, and for three people, a separate rollaway bed was added. The breakfast was plentiful, and the location was good. Because we returned late from both the north and south routes, we missed the sunset at Shaman Rock. Overall, the experience was very good; the facilities are quite excellent for Khuzhir village! Importantly, the guesthouse had a restaurant, which was very convenient. One evening, we went out to look for a restaurant, but it was closed, and walking around the village at night was cold and inconvenient. We ended up returning to the guesthouse restaurant.
The trip to Baikal Lake exceeded expectations. This hotel is also justified. In fact, this is a resort. It is mainly a resort where there are more guests skiing in winter. In summer, I met a summer camp for students. The children are a bit noisy and it is normal. The environment is good, a bit far from Lake Bell, the hotel called the car about 400 rubles to the lake, the traffic is not convenient, the front desk does not speak English, communication is difficult.
The hotel is suitable for those who just need a place to sleep; the price-quality ratio is decent. The room was cool, although the radiators were hot. The duvet on the double bed was small and thin. Breakfast starts a bit late, at 8 a.m., but they accommodated us and served us an early breakfast because we were rushing to catch a train.
Environment: Hotel location is not bad, located on the banks of the Angara River in the city center, you can see the Angara River, the scenery is beautiful, you can hear the sound of seagulls in the morning
Location: On the other side of the river is Irkutsk Railway Station. It is very convenient to buy tickets a few days in advance or take the train. But it takes a distance to go to the nearby supermarket.
The hotel building is very iconic. It is said that it was built in the Soviet era. Standing on the riverside, the white ”Отель Иркутск” is very iconic. It is a landmark building.
Hygienic: Especially clean, cleaning is in place
Service: There is a fat uncle at the front desk who is very good in English. There is even a Chinese-speaking front desk lady wearing thick-rimmed glasses. I am surprised. Most employees are not very good in English. They need to communicate with a translator, but they are also as good as possible to meet the needs of guests. 👍 Breakfast is OK. At the entrance of the elevator room on the first floor, you can take a few Baikal introductions and travel guides. Very detailed. I found the treasure climbing road through this guide!
Facilities: The room is small, the toilet is crowded, the facilities are really old, the standard of a three-star hotel, the room does not have a kettle, but you can go to the corridor elevator to get water.
Eggs: The hotel has a floor that is actually the Korean Consulate General in Irkutsk. It surprised me.
All aspects are very good, the second ski stay, the front desk is professional, the hotel is very good. The breakfast buffet is very good, there are a variety of fresh and pickles (sour cucumber, cabbage, beetroot), protein rich. The hotel is warm and the temperature can be adjusted unlike some other hotels. But Trip.com the price is a lot more expensive than the local order. The price of lunch and dinner is higher, and there is nothing to eat in Baikal Town. Friendly to dogs, and the local dogs outside are also very friendly. Thanks to the professional staff!
The location is very good, the pink building of the main building is a landmark of Lizhen, and the minibus station is downstairs, and the transportation is convenient. If you live in an attached building, it is a little cheaper, health can be, the bed in the twin room is a narrow bed... If the room is on the front, you can still see the lake view. The breakfast and other rights are the same. His buffet breakfast has many varieties and good quality. ~
The Mayak Hotel is conveniently located on the shores of Lake Baikal, 20 minutes from the city center. The room is clean, with white towels and crisp linens.
The staff is pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts are generous, with delicious, aromatic pastries. The room lacked air conditioning or ventilation. It's great for staying with friends or a full family, sharing two rooms on each floor. Downstairs, there's a large living room for a fun family getaway.
I highly recommend this hotel 😘✌🏻

Very pleasantly surprised, because the hotel did not upload the picture due to the late order. There are not many choices to decide. I said please give me a quiet sun room. The staff's arrangement is too satisfactory. You can see Lake Baikal from the window. I lay down directly for a day without going out.

Adequate business hotel. Single rooms are quite small. Clean. Central location.
A good hotel in the center for the money. Everything is nearby. Perfect for a rest between long layovers. The staff is friendly. Thank you. We'll be back.
The hotel service was excellent: 1. Knowing we had an early morning flight the next day, they packed us lunch boxes. 2. Residence registration was very smooth. 3. They enthusiastically helped us arrange a ride to the airport, which cost just over 500 rubles. 4. Although the front desk's English was limited, they proactively tried to communicate. Other amenities were also good: 1. The breakfast buffet offered eight hot dishes, other cold dishes, fruit, and drinks. 2. The restaurant isn't large, but the breakfast buffet is open until 11:00 AM, which is very convenient. 3. The decor and amenities are a bit dated, but the room has a sun-lit corner where you can enjoy tea while basking in the sun. 4. It's within walking distance of both Lenin Street and Karl-Marx Street.
Environment: The hotel's location is quite good, situated in the city center on the banks of the Angara River, offering beautiful views of the river. You can hear seagulls calling in the morning. Location: Irkutsk Railway Station is just across the river, making it convenient whether you arrive a few days in advance to buy tickets or catch the train. However, it's a bit of a walk to the nearby supermarket. The hotel building is very iconic, reportedly built during the Soviet era. Standing on the riverbank, the white ”Отель Иркутск” sign is very distinctive, making it a landmark building. 👍 Cleanliness: Exceptionally clean, with thorough cleaning. Service: A slightly overweight gentleman at the front desk speaks excellent English, and there's even a young lady with thick-rimmed glasses who speaks Chinese, which surprised me. Most staff members don't speak English very well, requiring the use of a translator, but they try their best to meet guests' needs. 👍 The breakfast is decent. You can pick up several brochures about Lake Baikal and travel guides near the elevators on the first floor; they are very detailed. I even found a treasure trove of hiking trails with this guide! Facilities: The rooms were small, the toilets were cramped, and the facilities were indeed outdated, typical of a three-star hotel. There was no kettle in the room, but you could get water from the elevator lobby in the hallway. Bonus: Surprisingly, one floor of the hotel houses the South Korean Consulate General in Irkutsk.
A quiet hotel near the Ferris wheel. The rooms are small but clean. There's no elevator, but that's not a problem, more of a quirk. The breakfasts are acceptable.
