Both are friendly, helpful and heart warming staff. Thanks for their recommendation. Stayed in A29 room at ladies corner near toilet. Entry and electric, powered by card only. USB and C port charging points available. Basic bedding: good enough for overnight transfer stay: pillow and blanket. Hand towel size for bathing. Traveller toothbrush and ear plug is provided. In-house slippers are provided, hence no shoes allowed in capsule as carpeted areas. Guess due to space constraints, no luggage’s allowed in capsule areas, hence opening of luggage can only be performed in front of the counter the reception area. Packed Light breakfast was provided but no hot beverages (2 Bread Buns, Tea Egg and Yoghurt Drink). However, mineral water bottle is complimentary. Traveling during the off-peak season was a fantastic idea. Not only were the flights cheaper, but the overall experience was significantly better. I truly immersed myself in the local culture, and leisurely strolling through the streets left me in a wonderful mood. The hotel I booked also had an excellent location, not far from Zhongshan Road, and the room's soundproofing was great, ensuring a very restful night's sleep.

I took advantage of my free time to go for a walk along the beach and stumbled upon this incredibly affordable B&B near the sea! I booked the cheapest single room, and the owner gave me a free upgrade to a huge room with floor-to-ceiling windows. It's located next to a residential complex, which is very nice, with plenty of food options and a bus stop nearby. For the price/performance ratio, this is the best B&B in Zengcuo'an. They even have a laundry room on the second floor, so stay with us!

Staying at this hotel in Xiamen was such a pleasant experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to answer our questions patiently. They even proactively helped us store our luggage and refilled our water bottles, paying attention to every small detail. Our room was very comfortable, and the disposable amenities provided were complete and convenient. It's super close to Gaoqi Airport, making it incredibly easy for catching flights. As for travel tips: in the morning, explore the narrow alleys and enjoy the sea views on Gulangyu Island; in the afternoon, visit Shapowei for some artistic photos; and in the evening, head to Zengcuo'an for seafood snacks, then take a stroll along Huandao Road to enjoy the sea breeze. It was a relaxed and delightful itinerary. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Xiamen!

When I realized my error, my heart sank. Off-peak season might have allowed for some flexibility, but it was conference season, rooms were scarce, and the thought of high price differences and 'non-refundable' clauses loomed like two mountains over me. I braced myself, feeling almost resigned to paying a penalty, and called the hotel's front desk. A gentle-voiced lady answered. After listening to my embarrassed explanation, she showed no impatience. Instead, she softly reassured me: 'Sir, please don't worry, let's figure this out together.' She didn't immediately reject me based on policy but asked for my correct check-in date and requested I wait a moment. During the few minutes I waited, I could clearly hear faint keyboard tapping and hushed communication on the other end of the line. Soon, she came back and gave me an almost unbelievable answer: 'Mr. Wang, we've checked the room availability. Luckily, we still have the same room type available for your new dates. We will process this date modification for you free of charge, with no price difference or amendment fees.' I was stunned and instinctively confirmed, 'Really? I don't need to pay any difference?' She confirmed again and meticulously verified my new booking details, her tone consistently calm and professional. The entire modification process was efficiently completed within five minutes, and after hanging up, a booking update email confirming the new dates was already sitting quietly in my inbox. At that moment, what welled up in me was more than just the relief of a resolved problem. In an era often filled with cold terms and conditions and 'the hotel reserves the right of final interpretation,' this experience felt incredibly precious. The hotel could have refused based on policy or demanded a reasonable change fee, but they chose a more empathetic approach. This 'beyond expectation' service actually returned to the core essence of the service industry: consideration and care for people. It not only resolved a date error but also assuaged the guest's anxiety and embarrassment caused by their own oversight. This experience firmly convinced me that the value of an excellent hotel lies not merely in luxurious hardware or a prime location, but in this humanistic spirit integrated into daily operations. It makes guests feel respected and valued as individuals, rather than cold order numbers. The ambiance of this guesthouse is truly wonderful. The room was spotlessly clean, and upon entering, you immediately feel comfortable and refreshed. All the amenities are incredibly well-appointed! The view from the window was also quite pleasing. The hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming. I'd definitely come back to stay here if I get the chance – it was a truly excellent experience!

The hotel's location is excellent; the subway station is just a short walk away, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

The room was clean and tidy, with clothes drying on the rooftop. The owner was very friendly and considerate. Our child got their clothes wet playing at the beach and needed a shower and a change of clothes, so they checked us in early. The location is great, with convenient restaurants nearby and close to the beach. However, the location was a bit inaccurate. I entered the address the owner gave me and ordered takeout three times, but the delivery driver couldn't find it twice.

Our flight landed at 11:50 PM, and the owner provided a free pickup, which was incredibly good service! When the car pulled into the parking lot, it looked a bit old, which made me a little uneasy at first. However, once we arrived at the guesthouse, the room was spotless and tidy, equipped with a washing machine and air conditioning. Most importantly, disposable bath towels and hand towels were provided, which is excellent for this price point. My partner and I were so tired that we went straight to sleep after getting to the room. The photos were taken after we woke up the next day, so they might look a bit messy! The building itself looks a little dated, but there's a supermarket and dining options on the ground floor, open from 6 AM until midnight or even 1 AM, so you won't go hungry upon arrival. It's only a ten-minute taxi ride to a food street – I've forgotten its name, but the owner recommended it, and we went there the next morning. Our Didi driver told us many shops there are open all night. If you don't feel like venturing out, the ground floor shops are convenient; otherwise, the food street is a great option for meals. We heard the beach is just a five-minute walk from the guesthouse building, but being late risers and needing to catch our flight, we didn't get a chance to go. We'll definitely come back next time we have the opportunity!
