The accommodation was actually better then I thought. Starting off the staff was really helpful and was able to speak English. The floors are stuck separated by gender and I was on the sixth floor, which had a nice as well they gave great selection of amenities, such as sleep, clothing, toothbrushes, razors, towels, etc. they had a lounge on each floor where you can just chill in the surrounding areas. It’s pretty nice too with a family Mart being right next-door and nakau across the street as well. Pretty close to the attractions in Hiroshima all within walkable distance.
This is a great hostel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They speak good English and there are many other solo travelers that come here. I met some great people. There's a kitchen too that's well equipped.
The bedrooms are also very spacious and comfy.
My only downside is being woken up at 10am everyday as the staff come in to clean the rooms from guests that have checked out.
The hotel had all that I would need for a short trip as basics are provided. Shopping area was just 3-5 minutes walk away and just a few mins away from the Peach Memorial Park in the other direction. For the price, the location is perfect and I couldn't ask for more. The free coffee was a nice touch.
It is only 1 station away from Hiroshima Station, but the transportation is convenient and a short walk. The station has an elevator, convenient to carry luggage, clean rooms, large bathrooms, proportionate. Coffee and snacks are provided. In the evening, instant noodles are also available. Can store your luggage The bed was comfortable and very impressed.
I used it because the nearest station in relation to work was Yokogawa.
It is also close to the station. It may feel a little hard in midsummer.
It's a hotel or really a one-room condominium.
Since I stayed for consecutive nights, I washed my underwear by hand and put it around, but the bath was also dry in the bathroom, which was helpful. The bath is the same as home ones, and there is a separate washroom and bathtub.
There was a bath towel 1 sheet and a normal size towel 1. I wanted to use the bath towel as a pillow, so I could only use the rectangular ordinary towel for the first night, but it was quite a bit. The next day, I told the front desk that I didn't need a bath towel, so I wanted two ordinary towels, and I was refused. So it might be better for the normal size group to bring in than the bath towel.
There is a 7-Eleven nearby, but I used it around 08:30, but there were few rice balls.
Overall it was good.
3 minutes from the tram stop, not the kind of hotel that will open a party, everyone is very quiet, the sheets and pillowcases are laid by themselves. There is a kitchen where you can cook and boil water, bring your own dental appliances, and rent 200 yen for bath towels.
This is the accommodation I booked after playing golf nearby. I had a quiet and peaceful night on a rainy day.
I tried to change my reservation, but it was double-booked, so I tried to cancel one, but the brokerage did not give me a refund. However, Mr. Matsubara, a hotel staff member, actively looked into it and helped me, so I was able to receive a full refund. I was really grateful for the assistance he gave me even though it was not my job. The hotel was clean, and outdoor parking was provided free of charge. I really liked the fact that I could use the vending machines for various alcoholic beverages and cocktails for free and unlimited use at night, and thanks to that, I had a great time with my friends.
I had a very comfortable rest and went! First of all, if you don't mind walking, you can stay at a good price. There are also convenient facilities nearby. One day, it rained so I didn't go out much, but I was able to borrow an umbrella at the front desk, which was convenient!! I couldn't open the window, and it was blocked by a wall, so the sun didn't come in well, but there was a ventilator, so the air was pleasant. I had a comfortable rest~
2-night stay
Location: Easy to find, a 5-minute walk straight from JR Miharashi Station, and a 5-minute walk to AEON. There are many restaurants, a large public bath, and one hour of free bicycle rental.
Service: Attentive, prompt, and proactive; very polite; one complimentary beer per person per day.
Room: Spacious, well-laid out, elegantly decorated, comfortable bedding, clean, strong shower water pressure, and ideal soundproofing. A combination lock is used to open the room door. A complimentary bottle of water is provided if cleaning is not required.
Breakfast: Wide selection, both Japanese and Western, with fresh ingredients and quick replenishment. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was under repair during my stay.

Great
The capsules are spacious enough and theres a lot of amenities, tables for eating, Hair dryers and washing stations. Showers well stocked. Only major issue is the same as all capsule hotels, its only as good as the people currently there, and unfortunately, had loud snoring (even through headphones) on both nights which made sleep a challenge. So, if you dont get unlucky like I did, its great!
The Santiago Hotel presents itself as the premier option for budget-conscious travelers and sightseers whose main priority is location and convenience in Hiroshima. Situated right in the city center, the hotel offers outstanding value, allowing guests to stay in a clean, private space without the high cost typically associated with such a central location. The primary strength of the Santiago Hotel is its genuinely unbeatable location. Guests can walk to major landmarks, including the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome, in just a few minutes. This centrality extends to local life, with easy access to shopping areas and central dining options, such as the famous Okonomi-mura. Furthermore, the property itself is relatively new, having opened or been significantly renovated around 2020, ensuring a clean and modern environment.
This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. I love the location as it is in a quiet neighbourhood in a low rise building which feels very cozy. It’s a 10 min walk to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. The hotel staff were wonderful and graciously provided me an upgrade to their best room for my overnight stay. This room was incredibly spacious and the bathroom was huge as well. The shower is in a separated room to the bathroom and has both an area to do stand up shower or use the bathtub/jacuzzi. I do wish they provided free bottled water but that’s my only complaint and it doesn’t matter much. I did have the free coffee in the morning which helped perk me up. Anyways I love this place and it was such good value. I will definitely book this hotel again if I come to Hiroshima in the future.
One of the best seaside Japanese inns with can’t-beat view of the bay. The individual rooms are very clean and tidy with traditional tatami floors and furniture. The futon bedding was clean and comfortable. There is a common bathroom on each floor with a separate common bathing room on the second floor where you can scrub down and soak in a bath. These traditional amenities are great experiences in themselves. The staff are kind and helpful and go beyond to make your stay enjoyable. They let me borrow a bicycle to ride around town and the island. Paddle boards are available for rent. The breakfast at the Alpha Cafe had an English style to it and was tasty. I’d highly recommend a stay here. The retro look and feel to the place is a charm.
Amazing hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. I stayed here for 8 nights as I had to go to Japan after my torn got injured playing Rugby. My son, who was on crutches, stayed with me. They were very helpful with him when he needed to get a taxi to the hospital, etc. When needing to clean, the room the staff waited patiently for him to get up move. There were plenty of shops around to get drinks and food, a washing machine at the hotel to use. They offer breakfast in the morning, no evening meals, and there is a microwave available to be able to heat up meals.
Was there for only there three days but it eas a really nice place. The staff is really helpful with any question you might have and it's really cloe to the main train and bus station in Hiroshima. Would recommend.
Absolutely gorgeous place and the nicest owner! Rooms are cozy and clean. Air conditioning is working perfectly even in this scolding hot summer. The food is amazing! We highly recommend to try both dinner and Japanese breakfast, it is wonderful! Overall this place is very peaceful and gorgeous. Try to stay at least for 2 nights! Thank you so much for your kindness and care, we will try to return next year!
Stayed here with my brother. The check-in was a bit confusing as I didn't receive any instructions before arriving, and at the time of arrivin,g no one was present to explain, though we managed it. The man that was managing the building was kind after we managed to meet him. The location was good enough for us. The rooms close with a gate it feels like a prison, though overall it was a good Ryokan experience.
