First time in a capsule hotel, and it was better than I expected! Super clean, friendly staff, and I loved the public bath (close for cleaning during 10 AM - 4 PM: hptel c/o | c/i time) Guests can grab coffee/tea in the lounge and there's 24/7 drinking water. They even have amenities like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and shaving kits at the front desk. Plus, they provide pajamas, so you can just bring your luggage for shopping and not worry about packing PJs. Overall, I'm really happy and would totally stay here again next time.
FYI: The private and deluxe rooms offer more privacy.
I booked a single room for women on the fourth floor, which has its own female-only bathroom. Other floors are mixed-gender, and showering requires going to the main public bath.
On my first night, a male staff member at the front desk assigned me a room on the second floor. Unfortunately, the area around my room was predominantly male, making it very awkward to come and go or use the restroom. I spent the entire night listening to coughing, as the soundproofing wasn't great, and the room felt stuffy even in winter.
The next day, a female staff member was on duty. After asking her to move me to a female-only room, my sleep quality and bathing experience improved significantly.
The room had a mini-fridge, but it wasn't very cold. The wardrobe had a number lock for securing luggage.
For vegetarians, this location is very convenient, with at least two vegetarian restaurants within a 3-minute walk.
Clean, but the room and bathroom are a bit small (especially the sink, which is tiny). It's a bit of a walk from the monorail station. After getting off the plane with kids and luggage, it was much more convenient to just call an Uber to get to the hotel. My booking was for 2 adults and 2 children, but the customer service said it was only booked for 2 people, so we only got two sets of amenities. I still don't quite understand why, but there's a supermarket right across the street where we could buy what we needed, so it wasn't a huge deal.

Stay there for 3 nights. It’s a great option to stay in Naha, Okinawa. First, is the location, it’s only 3 minutes walk from Asahibashi station, 5 minutes walk to Bus terminal, and 20 minutes by train(metro) from airport. The second is the place itself. The room was exactly the same as advertise. It was clean, pretty fresh. The room had a microwave, a kettle, a fridge, and a washer/drier unit (plus laundry detergent). More like a mini studio, then a hotel room. Also, there is no everyday cleaning (maybe for additional fee). Only one of the staff spoke English, but they all try to do their best to communicate. Majority of information already translated to English. But for some items, for example, ac unit, washer/ driver, I used Google Translater (wasn’t convenient, but possible). The internet was good too, even stream Netflix without problem.
Is value for money. Although look a bit outdated but it is cleaned and effort has been put in to make sure it can carry operating like any other hotel Staff are very helpful and able to cater to your needs. Comprehensive briefing and instructions are given on breakfast and the room door key system
Breakfast is good and it started as early as 5.45am which is able to cater for those taking early flights
Pillows are a bit too small and flat. I am still able to sleep with that though
Very nice place for backpackers. I was able to meet many new people. They have some kind of a deal with a local diving company, so when at the hostel you can book diving or snorkeling and get some percent off the price👍🏼
GGuest UserIt only takes one to ruin a stay, but this time two selfish neurotic old Chinese speaking women came into room very late at night making so much noise talking and messing with baggage. Upon mentioning disturbance one old woman got angry. That same woman continued to keep me up until 2.16am messing with zipped baggage in bed and dropping heavy objects on the wood above my bed. Total disregard that it was very late and I believe it to be done with deliberation as it was continued for hours after I complained. Then after check in an african woman let her boyfriend in the women's dorm and stand obstructing doorway talking and coming in room. That said african woman and boyfriend were sitting in women's only powder room for hours. Clearly not respecting boundaries yet no one said anything. African woman put all her stuff in my area of room, which I kept clear, and not near her own bed. A very annoying and disruptive night. Not the hostels fault. Usually everything is peaceful here
AArnold Z CruzI chose this because of the location which is perfect for my trip as I am taking A Line to Yoron the following day. The facility is clean, thanks to those maintaining it. How can I rate the service when it's just check in and there's even a machine? Check in process is straightforward. Trip.com should adjust their survey.
GGuest UserMaster Tatsuya was a great host, charismatic, welcoming and accommodating . Always had time to listen and support, goes above and beyond cleaning everyday and changing the sheets daily too. Makes a great dinner of wonderful delights of new things to try - you only need to ask! I truly enjoyed my time there, got to practice my Japanese and learn more about the culture. - location is good, not much going on around it. Oh! Very close to the Fukushuen Garden - that was a plus. About 20 mins minimum from station and everything else. Though Master offers you a bike if you want one. It's a home, so not much in the way of amenities.

AAnonymous UserSome rooms are too small and have a strong odor. I couldn't stay there and quickly changed to a bigger room. Why are the mattress and quilt covers dark brown? This color will be mistaken for unclean even if it is clean. It needs to be improved. The bathrooms on some floors have odors. The sea in Okinawa is very beautiful and worth a visit. It's worth it to overcome the small room.
NNari.I recently stayed at Bibi Hotel Miyako Kukomae, and it turned out to be an excellent base for exploring Miyako Island. The hotel is modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious for the price. Check-in was fully digital, making arrival smooth and stress-free, especially after a long flight.
My room was bright and well-designed, with a comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the washing machine and mini-kitchen, which made the trip more convenient. Everything felt new and well maintained.
The location is ideal—just a short drive from Miyako Airport and close to supermarkets and local eateries. It was easy to pick up food or hop in the car to the beaches. Sunayama Beach and Yonaha Maehama were both within quick reach. Despite the convenience, the neighborhood was quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep.
Parking was simple and free, which is a huge plus on Miyako Island. The self-service system meant I could come and go at any time without worrying about reception hours.
Overall, Bibi Hotel Miyako Kukomae offers great value, comfort, and convenience. It’s perfect for travelers who want a clean, practical, and well-located base while discovering the beauty of Miyako Island.
GGuest UserLocation: About a 15-minute walk from American Village, with many chain restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Breakfast: They provide coupons for the adjacent Komeda's Coffee, which gets you a drink and toast.
CCEL_LGreat experience in Miyakojima!
Location: The hotel is located in the center of the city, which is super convenient as a starting point to anywhere of the island: from here, the taxi to any direction is within 30 minutes at a cost of less than 3,000 yen. There is a FamilyMart across the road and you can get anything needed easily. And there are a lot of good dining places in the neighborhood. I made no reservation to any restaurant but just take a short walk randomly to the nearby restaurant every day and always find delicious food (there is one Japanese-style wagyu BBQ across the street which is super good!).
Room: The room is cozy and spacious. You won’t feel it too narrow to open your suitcase as hotels in Japan elsewhere. The bed is comfortable.
Facilities: There is a microwave in each floor, which is useful especially you need to leave early in the morning and have no time for breakfast. And there are also washing machines and dryers on the 1st floor, which is a must-have if you have activities in the sea.
If there is any improvement I must say, that is the light in the room is too dim and it is not easy to do makeups.
AAnonymous UserI stayed in a female dormitory. It has bunk beds, but they're separated by walls and can be used as private rooms with roll-up curtains. There are lockable lockers, three women-only showers, and two toilets with bidets.
I had a comfortable 3-night stay.
Shampoo and other toiletries are provided. There's a paid washing machine/dryer, but detergent is free.
I didn't use the rental bicycles, but apparently they're for a fee.
Even though it was the off-season, it was great to find it for under 5000 yen per night, especially during the New Year period.
The bus stop is conveniently located less than 40 minutes from the airport, near the island ferry terminal and the museum.
It's just off the road opposite the Yappari Steak restaurant.
It's so convenient, I'd like to use it again.
