I enjoyed my stay, the staff are very accommodating. The room is neat clean, the amenities are good

I used to booked other hotel like gemstones.this is my 1st time here..unlike with the other hotel the room has no mirror even in the CR, there is no coffee mug..no oven..no toiletries

The price is affordable, rooms are clean enough, and people are friendly. Also, it is convenient to travel to all destinations, equally close. However, there's only one hairdryer in the building, which makes it super inconvenient, and no slippers are provided. Another concern would be safety, Pasay city is more local, you can experience authentic lifestyle, but there are risks of getting into trouble I think. All in all, after living 3 days there, I would still recommend travelers this hotel.

This is a dependable choice—a true 7 out of 10. The Good: Location and Service Are Top-Tier The biggest strength of Studio 18 is its location. It's tucked away inside San Antonio Village, which is a quiet and secure gated community, giving you peace of mind in a busy city. Yet, you're only a short, manageable walk away from major hubs like SM Megamall, Capitol Commons, and Shangri-La Plaza. If you rely on public transport, the proximity to the Shaw Boulevard MRT station is a huge plus. It’s an ideal base for shopping, working, or accessing neighboring Ortigas Center. The Staff deserves special mention. From the security guards to the front desk, everyone is genuinely friendly, accommodating, and quick to address requests. In a large metro, great service makes all the difference, and the team here is absolutely the highlight of the stay. The Rooms are surprisingly spacious, especially compared to newer, smaller budget studios. Many units come equipped with a small kitchenette (refrigerator, electric kettle, microwave in some), a comfortable desk for working, and good air conditioning. It’s a clean, safe, and functional space that is easy to call home for a few days or weeks. Areas for Improvement (Why It's a 7/10) The main drawback lies in the execution of the property's facilities and basic comforts, which occasionally feel a little dated or incomplete. * Facility Consistency: While some units might offer a full suite of amenities, the overall facilities rating tends to lag. Simple things like having a reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi connection that never drops, or ensuring basic bathroom items (like a foot rug or consistent soap refills) are always present, are areas where the residence can be hit or miss. * Accessibility Check: For those traveling with a lot of luggage, prepare to handle it yourself. There’s a noticeable lack of luggage ramps or a dedicated doorman to assist upon arrival, which can be a hassle, especially on check-in day. * Evening Access: While the gated community setting is safe, the convenience gates nearest popular dining spots reportedly close around 10 PM. This means if you are out late, you might have a longer walk back through the main gate, which can be inconvenient. Verdict: If your priorities are location, safety, and having a good, functional space with excellent staff—and you're willing to overlook some minor facility and logistics kinks—The Studio 18 Residences is a smart and affordable choice. It provides far better value than many nearby hotels. It’s not a luxury experience, but it’s a perfectly reliable home base in Pasig. I had a pleasant stay at Astrotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, polite, and quick to assist whenever I needed help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby shops and transportation. The room had good air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and provided a relaxing atmosphere after a long day. Overall, I found it to be a great value for the price. I would definitely stay at Astrotel again and recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, clean, and comfortable place to stay.

Interesting concept, but unfortunately I would not stay here again. The room itself was quite interesting because it had two levels. I had never stayed in a room like this before, so it was a unique experience. The upper level is basically where the bed is, although I can’t say that climbing upstairs to go to bed was particularly convenient. There was also a lot of unused space in the room that could have been used much more effectively. Unfortunately, there are quite a few things that made our stay less comfortable. First of all, there is very little housekeeping. During our entire stay, nobody came to clean the room. The room also had almost no amenities - no toothbrushes, toothpaste, or even shampoo. We had to use our own shampoo, fortunately we had brought some. The Wi-Fi was another issue. It worked reasonably well on the lower floor, but once you went upstairs to the bed, the connection became very weak. This is especially inconvenient because the room is advertised as having Wi-Fi. The windows are also unusual. They are made of multiple plastic panels rather than proper sealed glass windows, and they cannot really be closed completely. Because of this, insects and other small creatures can easily get into the room, especially in the evening. Unfortunately, we actually found cockroaches in the room, including some very small ones. Another thing that left us very uncomfortable was the luggage storage situation. We arrived about 40 minutes before check-in and were told that we could not check in early, so we left our bags in the hotel’s luggage storage room while we went for a walk. We were given a simple ticket with a number. The storage room did not appear to have any cameras, and there were several staff members sitting there. When we came back to collect our belongings, we noticed that the staff were laughing and looking at us, which felt strange at the time. Only later, when we were checking our money before leaving, did we realize that 1,000 Philippine pesos were missing from our belongings. The amount itself is not huge, but it was extremely unpleasant. I am very careful with my money and am certain that I did not simply lose it. Unfortunately, we have no way to prove what happened or identify who took it. However, given that the money was missing while our belongings were stored there, the situation left us with a very uncomfortable impression and serious concerns about the security of the luggage storage. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this place. The two-level room is an interesting idea, and there is a lot of space, but much of it is simply unused. The lack of housekeeping and basic amenities, weak Wi-Fi upstairs, insects, unusual windows, and especially the incident with our money were all significant negatives. I personally would not stay here again. There are definitely better options in Manila, even if this place looks interesting at first.

The place felt fancy. Great lobby (but no WiFi) The e-SIM did also not work in the building. The gym and pool were good 👍🏼 The room is a bit small and felt cramped. The bathroom door opens into the kitchen and it’s quite annoying when one person is cooking and the other needs to move in and out. It was very clean 😉 but there were many cockroaches (common problem on condos) The WiFi dropped 3 times while I was teaching online - not so nice. SM mall is 1km walking, so it’s a bit far for up and down (and you have to explore the mall) Not a bad spot, but not as convenient as other people might have said.

The room is clean and neat, the facilities are good for short stay: washing machine, stove, fridge, air conditioner, sofa, desk etc.. But the hairdryer in the toilet doesn't work, the shower is not a strong one, and the pugs are not strong enough to hold mac book charger. And because it is a type of residency, they don't have luggage storage, guideline for tourists and the check-in procedure is a bit complicated and not flexible. Overall, I think this kind of residency is not designed for tourist or first-time traveller, as I only stayed for 4 nights to attend a event, I am fine with what i got.

The location was good and very convenient. The room itself was decent, but not very clean—especially the windows, which were quite dusty. In our first room, the air conditioner wasn’t working properly so it was too warm, and we had to request a transfer. Thankfully, the second room had a functioning aircon. However, we noticed several issues during our stay. Some of our companions had problems with their shower not working, and when they were supposed to be transferred, the next room’s aircon also wasn’t cooling properly. There were quite a few inconveniences overall. The reception staff didn’t seem very accommodating or responsive to concerns. It may have been due to a high volume of guests, but it would have helped if concerns were acknowledged more promptly. The lobby was also quite warm, which made it uncomfortable not just for guests but also for the staff in corporate attire. The surroundings can be a bit noisy since the location is close to busy areas. Overall, since this was our first time staying here for a nearby event, we appreciated the convenient location and affordability. However, the overall experience was around 6/10. I hope they can improve the room conditions and address maintenance issues moving forward. We also didn’t get the chance to take photos of the room for reference. I hope improvements can be made, as the place itself has a lot of potential and the location is really good.
