The king bed room we had was BIG and spacious, with sofa and coffee table, an armchair and hassock. TV is a bit far away from the sofa.
Appreciate free daily breakfast, they even vary the hot protein options each day (scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage patties, sausage links, omelette) which was good for us since we stayed over a week.
Only downer is that the hotel is right next to the tollway 355, so road noise is quite constant. I would request a room on a quieter side.
Very good service and staff. Great price and location with a lot of choices to eat and places to go. There's a pool and a patio deck outside to sit and talk with your friends.

The location is quite good, with convenient transportation and complete surrounding amenities, making shopping and dining very easy. The room facilities are decent, but the price is a bit high for this area.
I don't understand why the rating is so high.
The hotel is close to the highway and the soundproofing is very poor.
I can hear the conversation in the shower in the next room clearly!
I won't come again.
Good value. Extended stay. Had do not disturb sign out most of the time. The two times I did change it over to have room cleaned nobody cleaned it. Had to got to desk mgr for extra towels, etc. He also came and changed my trash bags since I had food in them. He was helpful and apologetic. Overall was a good experience.
#Praise#For security, lighting in the room, toiletries, adjacent stores, mosquito control measures, location satisfaction; the hotel is very cost-effective, the location is very good, the environment is very good. The breakfast is also very rich, the staff is very friendly, as holiday inn express is very cheap, praise!
The price is very high, close to O'Hare International Airport, the hotel's own parking lot is large and free. Close to the expressway entrance, will come again next time on business trip. Chicago is too cold in winter.
The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful - we had a small issue with a musty smell in the room we were assigned and she immediately switched us to a new room and made a note for the maintenance staff. Even though the hotel is right next to the airport, there was no issue with noise. (It's a very small airport.) Hotel is nicely appointed and had a good selection of food for breakfast.
A Nostalgic Stay at the Part Hotel, Shanghai As a former resident of the neighborhood where the Part Hotel stands, my recent 12-day stay was more than just an accommodation choice; it was a journey through time and memories. Built in the 1930s, this establishment exudes a unique charm that harks back to Shanghai's bygone era. While my experience had its ups and downs, there were aspects of the hotel that left a lasting impression. Let's start with the positives. The service at the Part Hotel was impeccable. Despite the challenges I faced with room changes due to some rooms having a lingering smell, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. Their professionalism and genuine concern for my comfort were commendable. Each request was promptly addressed, and the staff always wore warm smiles, making me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay. Moreover, the location of the Part Hotel holds a special place in my heart. Being in the neighborhood where I grew up added a nostalgic touch to my visit. I enjoyed strolling through familiar streets, reminiscing about my childhood adventures, and rediscovering hidden gems in the area. For guests with a penchant for history and local culture, the hotel's surroundings offer a treasure trove of experiences waiting to be explored. However, it's essential to address the drawbacks. The aging facilities of the Part Hotel were noticeable, with some rooms showing signs of wear and tear. The recurring issue of unpleasant odors in certain rooms was disappointing, prompting me to switch accommodations multiple times during my stay. While the staff did their best to mitigate these issues, it detracted from the overall experience and left room for improvement in the hotel's maintenance. In conclusion, my stay at the Part Hotel was a mix of nostalgia, excellent service, and room for improvement. While the historic charm and personalized attention from the staff were highlights of my visit, the outdated facilities and recurring odor issues were areas of concern. Nevertheless, the hotel's unique ambiance and convenient location make it a compelling choice for those seeking a glimpse into Shanghai's past. With some refurbishments and attention to detail, the Part Hotel has the potential to elevate its offering and provide an even more memorable experience for guests.
Overall, my recent stay at this hotel was a positive experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to restaurants in walking distance for dining. Despite being so close to these amenities, the hotel itself remained peaceful and quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The breakfast provided by the hotel was basic but satisfying, with a decent selection of options to choose from. Airport shuttle and price was the main reasons I chose this hotel. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations.
GGuest UserStayed for 3 nights - checked in on a Friday afternoon and out on a Monday morning. Got the ADA room and was mostly okay with it (I never turn down a walk-in shower), but was put off by the fact that there was nowhere to hang clothing and nowhere to place toiletries in the bathroom. Luckily I didn't need to hang anything, but this would have been a problem if I'd brought dress clothes. As for where to put toiletries, I ended up placing the portable shower seat next to the sink and using that surface. Hopefully the seat had been cleaned sometime between someone having their bare butt in it and me using it as a shelf. For the life of me I can't figure out why people design hotel rooms without bothering to know if they'll actually work for staying in. I also wasn't thrilled with the ”breakfast” on offer. Engineered ”omelet” and packaged, processed junk is NOT breakfast. There was absolutely nothing healthy on offer other than fruit - which was the stuff the grocery store didn't want. The good things about the hotel include staff truly striving to satisfy the customer, a clean room (including the carpet), a location within walking distance of many of Quincy's major attractions, and plenty of parking. But the parking lot itself badly needs repaving (it poured one afternoon and my feet and shoes were soaked because of the rivers running through the parking lot). In any event, there are some improvements that could be made, but I enjoyed my stay overall and would put the hotel on my list of places to stay should I return to the area in the future.
GGuest UserI was in Schaumburg for a 2 Day conference and chose to stay at a more cost effective location since I was traveling alone and really just needed a decent place to stay.
Upon arrival, I was greeted and given my key cards. I drove towards the side door as it was closer to the
elevator. Not the hotels fault I guess, but people were smoking in areas I know weren’t designated for smoking.
The 2nd floor ***** of ***. I am grateful it wasn’t coming from my room, however: the assigned room did not smell clean at all. I did bring cleaning sprays from home just in case, the room wasn’t clean. I had to wipe the counters , desk and sink top off. They were dirty and sticky to the touch. I was going to ask for staff to come up and check the room but decided not to do that.
The next morning I went to the front desk to ask that
Housekeeping not clean until I left. Front desk staff was on the cellular device and I had to get his attention. He was nice and courteous but told me that rooms were cleaned once per week. Guess that’s why my assigned room smells the way.
While I am an avid dog lover, the dogs coming out the exit when I tried to enter were huge. This gentleman had two and could hardly control them.
Nevertheless, you get what you pay for so I can’t be too upset. I just don’t recall this chain being so lax about the amenities, staff professionalism-and cleanliness.
GGuest UserSearched for a motel that was 'pet friendly' and had other features that included a reasonable price for the night. This motel came up and I booked it. There was NOTHING online related to there being any 'pet fee'. Upon check-in, the attendant asked if I had dogs and I responded, 'yes, I have 2...a 40# and an 8#. She then went on to tell me $35/each. I questioned this and she said 'policy'. I asked for a manger, was informed she would be there at 7, and when I came back at 7:30, I was told, 7 the next morning. I spoke with manager in the morning and the manager also stated 'policy'. I asked if we could split it ($35 would still have been too much). I asked if it was their policy to have happy guests and she replied 'yes', then I said she violated policy. My Reasonable $109 room, ended up costing me almost $200 when $70 pet fee was added. I have in the past paid $20 for my dogs, but this is ridiculous! I will NOT be staying with this chain going forward. I should have brought my dogs to the breakfast buffet so I could at least have gotten something for my money.
