The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation. The subway station is just a few hundred meters from the entrance, offering direct access to the airport, train station, and East Station. To the west, the hotel is right next to Qingcheng Park and very close to Dazhao Temple and Five Pagoda Temple. The staff are all very enthusiastic and provide thoughtful service. The breakfast is very rich, and there are several specialty restaurants nearby, such as Banmuyuan, making dining convenient. The facilities might be a bit dated, but they are still well-maintained.

I stayed for four nights and experienced both the Family Room with twin beds and a view, and the Tent-themed Family Room. While both had the same square footage, the Family Room felt a bit cramped in its layout. The twin room was the most comfortable, with a great view of the bridge and the Yimin River, absolutely stunning after the snow. The Tent-themed Family Room had a slide, which kept the kids entertained in the room.
The service was outstanding, truly exceptional. One thing I particularly want to commend is the hotel's TV setup. You can directly log into iQIYI and Aurora Cloud TV, unlike some hotels where you only get Aurora TV for a fee, and even screen mirroring costs money, or there's nothing good to watch. They even provided extra small chairs for the beds, which was a nice touch. Originally, for two nights of our trip, we had planned to try a different hotel and booked at Hanting, but we ended up canceling that and staying at Arivon Manor again.

My stay at Shangri-La Baotou far exceeded my expectations! Even before checking in, I received a call from the hotel arranging the room according to my preferences. Upon arrival, the concierge proactively helped with luggage, and the front desk staff were warm and meticulous, introducing the hotel's restaurants and fitness center. The room was clean and hygienic! I've had their shaomai before and it was good, but this time I was particularly impressed by the new mutton buns at breakfast – absolutely amazing! My family really enjoyed the freshly fried dough sticks. Overall, the entire check-in process was excellent, and the hotel's location is superb! It's only about a 15-minute drive from the highway exit! Finally, a special shout-out to Avila Wang.

I highly recommend the Wanda Vista Hohhot! The overall ambiance is elegant and grand, brimming with the distinctive charm of the grassland people. The hotel's service is truly impeccable; every staff member, from top to bottom, is incredibly attentive, gentle, and polite. They provided thoughtful care throughout my stay, proactively offering travel tips and insights. The room service was meticulous and thorough, and the turndown service was a lovely touch. My stay was comfortable and reassuring, with star-rated quality evident in every detail. The service was refined and genuine, not perfunctory, making my trip incredibly pleasant. It's truly worth recommending.

Facilities: This new hotel has only been open for a month, and some facilities are still under construction, including the swimming pool, gym, and spa. Located in Buildings AB, it offers parking. The rooms have smart device controls and offer a great view, directly overlooking the musical fountain square. The smart toilet and sensor-activated night lights are very convenient, and cribs are available upon request.
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, perfect for children and the elderly.
Environment: The decor is elegant and upscale, with a comfortable sofa. See the pictures below.
Service: The service is highly commendable, starting with the warm, attentive, and meticulous service from concierge Xiao Zheng. He escorted us to the lobby and lounge area, issued our room card, and delivered it to our room. He also provided detailed information about the hotel, the surrounding area, and the food and beverage options, and offered tourist information. The front desk staff was also very friendly and helpful, always patiently helping with any questions. The service exceeded our expectations, and my family was delighted.
Dining: The breakfast was quite varied, and the main flavors were excellent. I especially recommend the Mongolian milk tea, which was delicious (my grandfather also loves it). The celery apple juice was surprisingly tasty. I rarely write reviews, but I give this one a thumbs up! The Moutai Exhibition Hall really broadened my horizons!

The hotel service was excellent. Upon check-in, the lobby manager not only upgraded our room free of charge but also assisted with check-in in advance and warmly introduced us to nearby restaurants. The professional, warm, and thoughtful service made us feel welcome and cared for from the moment we arrived. The hotel floor staff also brought welcome fruit and, upon learning we were running low on bottled water, proactively brought us more – very considerate indeed. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Located on the banks of the Bawang River, the hotel boasts a pleasant and quiet environment, and is just a few minutes' taxi ride from nearby restaurants and Wanda Plaza. While the five-star hotel's decor is somewhat dated, it remains clean and hygienic. It would definitely be a hotel in Ulanqab worth staying at again.

The swimming pool is great, with a stunning lake view. The gym staff are also incredibly nice. On Sunday night, a woman helped my child choose swimsuits, and a man was incredibly kind. The lifeguards were also incredibly helpful. Thank you!
The tiramisu at the dessert shop on the first floor was average, but the service was excellent.
The concierge service was the best experience. The men were very polite and offered to help with the cart and luggage upon arrival. When checking out, my family member was feeling unwell and had low blood sugar, and the man who helped with the luggage was so kind as to bring some cookies. Thank you so much!
The Three Bears shop has great food, with some unique items that are worth a visit. With a Ctrip coupon, you can get a 10% discount, while other guests staying at the hotel can get a 5% discount.
A few issues: Compared to other Shangri-La hotels, the facilities are older, lacking USB and Type-C ports, and have relatively few charging points.
The official wifi cable wouldn't connect, but after reporting this to room service, a router was quickly delivered. The room information card says there's a 5% discount on popsicles, but when you go to buy them, the staff won't tell you unless you mention it. When I asked, they said, ”No one's ever offered a discount. If you see it, they'll give it to you. It's not that much anyway.” I don't understand. If the hotel is having a promotion, why don't they proactively ask guests? Whose money is being blown away by the wind? The people of Manzhouli must be really rich. We bought them twice during our stay, once when we first arrived, without knowing about it. But the popsicles were still quite good.
You have to find a seat at the Chinese restaurant, and the food is pretty good. Meals are currently 12% off with in-house dining. It's the Mid-Autumn Festival, so there are mooncakes, alcohol, and local gift packs available for purchase. The information is quite detailed. Thank you!
Overall, my stay was quite good.
Great location, one of the best hotels in the city. Parking was easy underground and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room had a great view of the city and was incredibly clean. Overall; an excellent stay!

I have come to Grand Skylight Hotel more than once. The room is clean and the waiters are very enthusiastic and can provide the necessary items in time. The manager Wang Xiaoyu who contacted me was also great. Because I brought my baby out to play, our suite was specially decorated to be very parent-child friendly. Everything is available. I come here once a month and I choose Grand Skylight Hotel without hesitation!

If you're looking for an excellent hotel in Chifeng, Yulong International Hotel is undoubtedly the best choice. It boasts a convenient location near the city center, with expansive grounds and generously sized rooms. The attention to detail in the room's furniture and soft furnishings is remarkable, evident in everything from the wallpaper to the decorative accents. It's a treat to stay in a property designed by I.M. Pei's team. We also received a complimentary room upgrade, and they even provided a free extra bed for our child. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserBuilding 6 is still too old. Before I checked in, the staff said it hadn't been renovated in 20 years and that I could check out within half an hour. It was raining when I arrived that evening, so I didn't bother. To save my elderly family from having to climb stairs, I stayed on the first floor. The whole room was damp. The paintings on the wall were clearly carefully designed 20 years ago. The room even had a bathtub, giving it the air of a 5-star hotel, but it was so old that the paintings were falling out of their frames. They burn wormwood in the lobby, so I didn't see any cute beneficial insects in the room. I didn't see any room service in Building 6. The front desk is in Building 7, but I drove through the main gate that night and searched for a long time but didn't see any clear signs pointing me to Building 7 for check-in.

GGuest Userroom was clean and spacious. No complaints here. Checking in and out worked smoothly. But 2 things I have to complain about:
1) I have no idea why some people say the breakfast is great. For me and my wife it was terrible. Possibly the worst breakfast I ever had. Yes, they have a lot to offer. But somehow they make everything taste cheap and ”weird”. I ended up eating some dry bread with jam, because I couldn't eat anything else. I suspect that they don't cook by themselves, but buy some cheap readymade food and sell it as ”fresh”. Also, the breakfast still looks exactly the same as the pictures from more than 6 months ago. No change at all
2) no option to clean the clothes is ridiculous. I have no problem to pay or wash by myself but both they didn't allow me to do. I never saw this before.
All in all it's not bad. If you don't care about the breakfast and don't want to wash your clothes, this hotel might be for you. The rooms are good and the service also very nice (apart from ”you can guess” the breakfast staff)

AAnonymous UserThe hotel should be pretty good, it has a pool. I didn't book breakfast. Could I suggest to the front desk not to push for good reviews when guests check out? After all, business travelers, when they have time and had a good impression, will naturally leave a positive review.

AAnonymous UserI'd recommend the Lotus Hotel to all my friends! If you're coming to Xiangshawan, you absolutely have to stay at the Lotus – it offers guests an incredible surprise!
Navigate to the Hualian Resort Reception Center, where the service is incredibly thoughtful. They'll even transport your luggage directly to the hotel, so you can head straight to the island to enjoy yourself.
The hotel facilities are also excellent. You absolutely must attend the bonfire party in the evening, complete with fireworks and stargazing. The buffet hotpot is also a great option! Outside the lobby, there's a pool with sun loungers, giving it a real resort vibe.
It's worth mentioning that the hotel has a mini-train specifically for taking guests to designated spots – it's a super novel and fun experience!
We chose an exterior-view room, which I highly recommend. It has a large balcony where you can gaze at the desert. In the morning, it feels like you're waking up right in the desert.
What truly elevated our travel experience the most was the express pass. It felt completely worth the hotel fee, as we were able to enjoy Xian Island without any queues during the May Day holiday. It truly maximized our emotional value!
I love the Lotus Hotel! Many thanks to all the staff and performers for providing such wonderful service!
GGuest UserAs a loyal Sheraton guest, I'd like to review my stay.
This Sheraton in Hohhot doesn't feel like a Marriott property. The service was subpar, and the food, especially breakfast, didn't live up to Sheraton standards. The staff seemed to lack a strong service ethic and proactiveness. Even though it wasn't busy during the Chinese New Year, there's significant room for improvement in their service.

MMiso misoI've stayed here multiple times because the rooms offer views of the racecourse, it's walking distance to my relatives' place, parking is convenient, and it's easy to get a taxi anywhere in Hohhot. There are plenty of great food options nearby, like the xiaomai restaurant by the west gate of Huhejiadi, the 'beizi' shop outside the south gate of the People's Air Defense Office family compound, and the main branches of Mongolian Grand Camp and Xibei Sports Center – all familiar and delicious spots. This is the only five-star hotel near the racecourse. The rooms are spacious enough and cleanliness is good. The facilities definitely need an update, but the service responsiveness is excellent. I'll be back again.

GGuest Userwe bought rooms on club floor expecting to use Executive Lounge, but it was closed for personal use by the owner of the hotel. Then they should not sell club floor room. The rooms we stay also smell bad cigarettes and air condition is too warm and cannot adjust. Very bad stay. Good only the hotel restaurant, Blue Diamond Cafe, good food and good service.
MM338068****This matryoshka doll-themed hotel is truly unique! Every corner, inside and out, is filled with matryoshka elements, making it perfect for photos. The interior is opulent and gilded, and the rooms are quite spacious. The service is excellent, and the facilities are very new and smart. Breakfast is included and offers a good variety.

HHakisamaFrom the moment we arrived, our stay was truly exceptional. What stood out immediately was the staff—every single person we encountered, from the front desk team to the housekeeping crew, was genuinely friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
The breakfast was, without a doubt, a major highlight. It was far beyond typical hotel fare—everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and incredibly tasty. They offered a wide variety of options, including fresh fruit, inner Mongolian buuz, Mongolian milk tea and made-to-order hot dishes. It was the perfect, delicious start to every morning. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable, ensuring we had a peaceful night's sleep. This hotel offers amazing value and service, and we can't wait to return!
