I booked a twin room and stayed here twice. The first time, I was on the ground floor in a standard twin room. The facilities were complete, and while the room was small, it was very clean. There was no view from the window, just the ground floor platform. The second time, I was assigned a room on the 4th floor, with a view of the sky from the window. However, it was laid out for disabled access, and the bathroom flooded after a shower. Also, one of the 'twin beds' was actually a makeshift mattress, so one of the two adults didn't sleep well. When I asked to change rooms, I was told the hotel was fully booked and no changes could be made, which I was quite unhappy about. On the positive side, the hotel has a scenic pool and sauna on the 5th floor, which is great!

This is also a chain hotel, usually translated as Best Western. The rooms are quite good, and there's even a small balcony. It's roughly equivalent to hotels like Lavande or Vienna in China. Avoid the restaurant, though. Picture 6 shows a medium-rare steak, and honestly, if you cut off the outer layer, it's edible. Given that, I don't think breakfast is worth trying.

Fantastic trip and fantastic service at the Hilton Double Tree. Rooms and service were top-notch. Support from staff was fantastic too. My daughter hurt her foot in the pool and they sent her a little note and bar of chocolate which made her day - above and beyond. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet was pretty average and with Hobart being such a vibrant bustling city of beautiful food they need to up their game. Everything was ok and a decent selection, however the hot food section was pretty poor and the sausages were like cardboard. Kids loved the cereal and fruits on offer so that was a bonus.

This is a stylish hotel. It truly felt like stepping back in time. It's an old building with friendly staff. We chose it specifically for the atmosphere. Our windows overlooked an old cathedral (St. David's Cathedral). Since it's a 19th-century building, the floorboards in the room creaked in places. There wasn't a coat rack near the entrance for outerwear. The lighting came from desk lamps and floor lamps.
In the lobby downstairs, there was live music in the evenings, which I really enjoyed. There's also a bar.
Overall, the hotel left a pleasant impression, which is exactly what we came for.
Since other room types were fully booked, I ended up reserving a motel-style room in the annex building. The annex doesn't have an elevator and you have to walk down, which initially felt a bit eerie. However, I later found out the room had a window facing a courtyard, so it turned out to be okay. The facilities are quite basic and dated, but the water pressure is good and the price is relatively cheap. The best part is the free parking (parking on the second level is the most convenient).
The rooms in the shop are beautifully designed, all rooms are facing the harbor, the rooms are clean and tidy, because the hotel does not have breakfast, you need to eat in a restaurant near the hotel, the overall stay experience is good

Hotel is located in a good spot with almost everything you need and want to visit a stone’s throw away from the hotel - walking distance, definitely. Room is comfortable, clean and modern. Great breakfast too!
Parking isn’t an option at the hotel, and hotel guests will need to deposit your car at the hotel entrance and then have valet option done. Hefty price at AUD$40 though - I guess safe and secure parking at a price!

Very Good
GGuest UserOverall, a pretty terrible experience – definitely avoid this place:
1. I arrived at the hotel around 10 AM and was told I absolutely couldn't check in until 3 PM, with zero flexibility.
2. The hotel itself is quite low-end, and the management is very haphazard and chaotic. During the day, there were a bunch of workers doing what looked like painting or renovations, and the entire hallway reeked of banana oil.
3. After being out all day, I finally checked in around 11 or 12 PM. I had booked an executive room, but they immediately told me there was only one left, clearly trying to pull a fast one. Since I had my child with me and just wanted to rest, I didn't argue then. Later, I tried to claim a refund for the price difference through Ctrip, which was a very reasonable request. However, after Ctrip contacted the hotel, they actually lied and claimed they had offered me breakfast, which was a blatant falsehood.
4. The hotel's cleanliness was mediocre, and the facilities were quite subpar. When I checked in that night, there was a crowd of dirty-looking Sri Lankans lining up to check in.
5. The safe in the room lacked basic instruction labels. I tried to use it a couple of times and ended up locking my belongings inside. Around midnight, a staff member came to open it with a master code, then told me he was leaving and that I'd have to ask another staff member the next day for proper usage instructions.
I took a few photos – seriously, steer clear of this place!

VViv Chan YCBest Western Plus is situated at a great and convenient location in the heart of CBS. it's within walking distance to almost all city attractions. the bed is v comfortable and facilities are good considering the room rate. it is also v close to the City Park, like 7 mins by walking, great to hv a run in the morning. The front desk staff are v friendly and helpful. Tamar Valley Cruise is 18 mins walking, you can book tickets online or buy it there.
WWong Hin Wah DennisA wooden family cabin was selected in this booking. The space inside was large and actually like a warm house with full furniture. Three beds inside and sufficient for a 4 member family. The breakfast was excellent instead a conventional buffet. I will recommend at least two night stay as it is just near the national park for trail walking.
HHinson523It felt like staying on a farm. The scenery was beautiful, there were lots of animals, and the starry sky was stunning. The location is great for those with a car, and you can feed the animals for free. The hotel also has an orchard where you can pay to pick cherries. It was a lot of fun!
YYuchenThe hotel itself is very beautiful, great location as well. However the room feels very stuffy, the balcony is locked only a small window is left open and the screen window is incredibly dusty, I don’t think it’s ever been cleaned. Also the housekeeping is very unprofessional, she came straight in without even knocking the door around 9am while we are still sleeping, just saying hello when unlocking the door. Unhappy about that.
GGuest UserThe hotel location is very convenient, with lots of shops, restaurants, and even a supermarket nearby. Our room had a beautiful view, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The package we booked included breakfast, and it was good. They gave us a menu to choose from, and the food was freshly made to order – hot and delicious. I especially loved their sourdough. The staff were polite, friendly, and made us feel really comfortable. Overall, this hotel met our expectations and gave us a wonderful stay.
GGuest UserOver three thousand a night for a hotel where the water pressure is terrible – constantly fluctuating between hot and cold, and the flow is all over the place. For that price, it's just not acceptable, is it? Also, avoid the Highland restaurant; it's overpriced and the food is mediocre. You're better off just eating at the regular restaurant next door (though they're severely understaffed, with one person running around trying to do everything). The front desk phone is perpetually unreachable, and there's no Wi-Fi in the room (though Telstra mobile data works). That said, there aren't many other good hotel options around Cradle Mountain, so I guess this is as good as it gets.
