Read the rave about this hotel and having stayed here ourselves, we totally understand why. Firstly, the location is superb with the Beijing Pedestrian street and TeeMall literally just at its door step. Next, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We have booked 2 rooms and they have proactively allocated us on the same floor. The rooms were clean and the room size is comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. The hotel provided free laundry (self-service) which is a plus for us as we were in Guangzhou for 10days. Breakfast is just so-so, can give it a miss and enjoy nicer food nearby. Overall, highly recommended and we will certainly choose the hotel again when we are back.

The hotel is located a few kilometres from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, near Renhe metro station. The room is large, clean and well equipped The hotel offers a free airport pickup and drop-off service. Unfortunately, it took around 2 hours from exiting the airport to reaching the hotel because the shuttle was extremely full on that day, but the hotel kindly and proactively offered a discount on the stay for the inconvenience caused. The airport drop-off service is hourly and pre-arranged with the front desk staff, who were very helpful. Overall, this was a pleasant stay despite the delays with airport pickup.

The front desk staff were very welcoming, the location is convenient, and the rooms are comfortable with strong air conditioning. The only minor issue was the showerhead; no matter how I adjusted it, the water spray hit my body quite hard. Just a few steps out, and you're on the pedestrian street. I would definitely choose to stay with Atour Group again next time. Since it was summer and I was sweating a lot without extra clothes, it was a lifesaver to have free laundry service. My clothes were hung on the door the next morning, which was incredibly thoughtful.

Their communication was gentle and patient, and they meticulously answered any questions I had. They also sent room equipment and Wi-Fi usage instructions online in advance, saving me the hassle of repeatedly asking. At check-out, they thoughtfully reminded me to check for small items like earphones and jewelry to avoid loss. Overall, they were polite and showed empathy, far from offering mechanical or perfunctory service. This level of detail and patience alone significantly enhanced my impression of the stay. Choosing this place for my trip was incredibly comfortable and a great base.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a fantastic stay at Gionee Light Hotel Guangzhou! The location is absolutely perfect. The hotel is directly opposite Tee Mall and right in front of Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, making shopping, sightseeing, and dining incredibly convenient. The metro station is also just nearby, so getting around Guangzhou was quick and easy. There are countless shops, restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores within walking distance. Food delivery is very convenient too, with plenty of options available at all hours. Whether you’re looking for local Cantonese food, milk tea, coffee, or late-night snacks, everything is easily accessible. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The rooms are cozy and provide a great place to rest after a long day of exploring the city. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything tidy throughout my stay. A special mention to the hotel staff, who were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They were patient with questions and made the stay feel smooth and enjoyable from check-in to check-out. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money with an unbeatable location.

Everything from the location and cleanliness to the service was excellent – truly great value for money. I'll definitely be back. The service was top-notch. The front desk staff were very professional and check-in was quick. The room was just as pictured, and even the hidden corners were spotless. I really couldn't find any faults and highly recommend it. My only minor feedback is that the hallway had a bit of an odor, which could be improved.

The room was great – quiet, comfortable, and cozy. The hotel restaurant also had a nice view, and the breakfast selection was decent. It was incredibly convenient for exploring Huaqiangbei, with tons of food options right downstairs and the subway station just a stone's throw away. Definitely a fantastic choice for a trip.

Real sea view room, the environment is very good, the air convection wind is very cool when the upper floor is opened, the balcony is still facing the sea, the hardware facilities of the room are not very new, the front desk staff service is very good, we rented the anniversary necklace to forget on the bathroom sink, I found out when I got home. I contacted the front desk and they helped me find it. They also helped me send it over. It was great! This trip to Hailing Island is very happy.

The location is super convenient, really close to Paifang Street, and it's easy to hail a taxi right in front of the hotel. But the best part, by far, was the unbeatable service! They even helped us cut fruit, offered complimentary sweet soup in the afternoon, and had laundry service. Absolutely worth it!

Excellent stay! The facilities are great and the location is super convenient, whether you're exploring Zhuhai or Macau. The butler upgraded our room and even gave us a small gift. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again next time. We also received a welcome fruit platter, which was a lovely touch!
