Happy Trip@world
This is my terrible experience during my Ireland trip. No aircondition, double lock out of order, iron doesnt work When we reported those issues to reception, no fixing, no room change arranged. 10mins later, they sent me an iron 😔
As viewed, the hotel lobby is nice & good beakfast. Hope they have improvement in future. 🙏

The room and bed were both very spacious, and there was plenty of parking. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. The location is great, right on the edge of the city, which made it easy to find and convenient for getting onto the main road shortly after leaving.

Guest UserWe were given a beautiful room over looking the Circle of Life garden and the sea further on. See photo. Noise from jacuzzi below was bothersome in the morning and I had requested a quiet room, which it was apart from the engines bubbling below. Service in restaurant was incredibly slow for breakfast. Breakfast offering was good; not much pastry wise, but lots of fruits, gorgeous cheese, avocados even, good quality Oj. But the Coffee was sludge and undrinkable. Though the View over Galway bay is beyond compare. Room was comfortable though dated but very clean except at one point in the shower I looked down to see a chunk of long black hair stuck to my foot… 2000% not mine. That was pretty gross. It must have been sitting in the drain as I’d have noticed before getting in. Cockroaches in the shower are a more welcome site than that. Bathroom is modern and shower had good power. Bed was soft but comfortable. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Pool is small, sauna is great. Pool not too clean/ Two discarded plasters on the side. Location is unbeatable.

I recently stayed at The Galmont Hotel & Spa in Galway and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel's location is ideal—just a short walk from Eyre Square and the city centre, making it convenient for exploring local attractions and dining options.
The room was spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. The bed was particularly comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's spa and leisure facilities. The indoor pool and thermal suite offered a great way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience.
Breakfast was satisfactory, with a decent selection of hot and cold items. However, I felt that the variety could be improved to cater to different dietary preferences.
Overall, The Galmont Hotel & Spa offers a comfortable stay with excellent amenities. I would recommend it to travellers seeking a convenient and relaxing hotel experience in Galway.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, situated at one end of the main street with the riverfront right on the other side. El Square is also just a pleasant walk away at the opposite end of the main street. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling very effectively, but fortunately, the weather wasn't hot, so it wasn't a problem.

The room was completely different from the uploaded pictures. The pictures showed two beds, but there was only one. We had to add another room at the last minute. The hotel offered a much lower price than the platform suggested, which was very disappointing.

Anonymous UserThe location was perfect for me as it was a short walk from the coach station and from my tour pick up location. I was very impressed with the accommodation since some student accommodations are dated, but everything looked new and quite fancy. The staff members were friendly. The only downside was that I could hear the seagulls squawking throughout the night until morning. Other than that, I would certainly stay here if I’m ever in Galway again!

Nice hotel, But I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathtub. When I added hot water to the bathtub, a lot of dust and even a hair came out.
I had to wash and rinse the tub several times to get it clean.
I understand that hotel service is low in Ireland, but this is a 4-star hotel. The price for rooms is high for Europe. It would be great, at least nice to clean.
Breakfast was great, delicious.

A retreat of a hotel.
Mostly older guests, calm and peaceful.
Very comfortable large room.
Located in a very scenic place in splendid isolation.
Food is fantastic, the staff are attentive.
One night we had a harpist, really nice.
Only fault is that it can be too quiet for some, but if you want to get away, relax, read a book a d chill out then it’s ideal.

It is a certain distance from Galway. The hotel has a quiet environment. It occupies a large area on the seaside. The room facilities are also very good. The Atlantic sea breeze makes it a great place for vacation.
