Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere, with most attractions within an hour's reach. The Qinhuai River is right outside the door, and there's a great view from the rooftop too. The staff's service was also spot on; they greeted every guest who walked in and even helped us navigate to our desired destinations. We had heavy luggage, and a staff member very enthusiastically helped us push it to the entrance. Ordering takeout late at night was also a breeze, with robot delivery. Personally, I feel the breakfast could be improved; the variety isn't very extensive, and if you're staying for several days, eating the same few things can get a bit repetitive. But overall, everything was excellent, and if I come back to Nanjing, I'd definitely choose to stay here again!

ChloedadyHad a fantastic two-night stay at the Suning Zhongshan International Golf Hotel. It was incredibly comfortable and relaxing.
The European-style manor, combined with Purple Mountain and the vast golf course, created an amazing environment perfect for photos. The room balcony offered stunning views, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The hotel had all the amenities you could ask for, including a pool and playground. Breakfast was plentiful, and the service was gentle and attentive. The whole trip was peaceful and rejuvenating – an excellent escape from the city, and definitely worth a return visit!

Xiaoji LilyLast May Day, we visited the Club Med in Taicang, and the GOs recommended the newly opened Club Med in Nanjing. This summer, I brought my child here for a weekend (three days, two nights) during the school holidays, and the experience was fantastic, definitely a full five-star rating!
**Accommodation:** The rooms were clean and tidy, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The cleaning staff were very friendly and patient, always refilling our drinking water. The resort grounds are spacious and comfortable, with excellent natural surroundings. You can overlook the lake from the balcony, offering a wide and open view.
**Activities:** There are plenty of facilities for play, both indoors and outdoors. We happened to be here during a heatwave, so we mostly opted for indoor activities. The indoor sports area includes basketball, badminton, table tennis, billiards, and rock climbing, as well as a 'parkour' area (similar to an adventure course) that my child loved, which we visited for two consecutive days. You can also book KTV sessions. When it's hot, you can also sit at the U Bar and play cards, which is very relaxing. Outdoor activities are also abundant. You can cross a bridge to 'Explore Park,' where you can try archery, kayaking, windsurfing, or even the 'flying trapeze.' However, the flying trapeze requires training, and you need to be able to hang from a bar with both hands for at least ten counts. Neither of us had that much grip strength (we could only manage up to five), so we just watched other 'experts' try it. Kayaking was quite nice; the lake water was clear, and there were little ducks swimming around. It's best to go in the late afternoon, around 5-6 pm, to avoid the intense sun for a better experience. My sister and I kayaked together, and circling the large lake wasn't tiring at all. It's suitable for mothers or older children with moderate physical fitness.
**Service:** The butler service was online throughout our stay, with quick responses and smooth communication. Whether it was booking activities or requesting supplies, they responded and handled everything promptly. When we wanted a clothes drying rack for our swimwear on the balcony after swimming, it was provided very quickly, which was incredibly thoughtful and professional. Being peak summer holiday season, the restaurant entrance traffic was also managed efficiently; just stating your room number allowed for quick entry, which was very user-friendly.
Here, you can shed your fatigue and quietly enjoy your holiday. I'm already planning to come back when the weather isn't so scorching (the 'furnace city' reputation is certainly well-deserved).
**Two additional points:** There's an external food delivery pick-up point near the entrance, which is very convenient. I also loved the hotel's lighting fixtures; they were very artistic.
Finally, a big thank you to our butler, KIKI Angel, for the excellent service!

Stay Summary: A hotel with very distinct pros and cons.
✅ Major Highlight: Service
Our butler, Cora, truly deserves praise. From pre-arrival communication to the entire check-in process, she was incredibly attentive. When I mentioned the uncomfortable mattress and chair, she not only responded quickly but also personally followed up until the issues were resolved. This kind of warm, detailed service left a deep impression.
✅ Location and View
Getting around was very convenient; everything nearby was easily accessible. The view from the lake-view room was indeed lovely, a definite bonus.
➖ Breakfast: Nothing special
InterContinental breakfasts usually have a great reputation, but the offerings here were just 'decent.' Nothing stood out as something I'd want to get again; it lacked memorable dishes.
❌ Hardware: Quite disappointing
The equipment in the room was noticeably old. The TV even had several channels with static, which is unacceptable for this price point.
Overall: Worth staying for the service and the view, but don't set your expectations too high for the hardware.

I had a very pleasant stay at The Ritz-Carlton Nanjing. The hotel is in an excellent location, connected to a luxury shopping area with plenty of high-end boutiques, cafés, and great restaurants, making it a perfect base for exploring the city.
The room was spacious, elegant, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. I especially loved the bathroom and the warm, sophisticated interior design. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely wanted to make sure I had a great stay.
One thing that stood out to me was the communication style. The hotel called me before my arrival to ask if I needed anything, and after check-out they called again regarding the minibar and my deposit refund. I know this is meant as attentive service, but personally, coming from Europe, I would have preferred these updates by message or email. It’s not a criticism—just a different style of hospitality than I’m used to.
I was also curious about what to expect from a Ritz-Carlton hotel. This property has a contemporary luxury style rather than the traditional grand atmosphere some travelers might associate with the word “Ritz.” Once I understood that, I appreciated it for what it is: a modern luxury hotel with excellent comfort, attentive service, and a great location.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend it. It offers excellent value for a luxury hotel and is a wonderful choice for anyone visiting Nanjing.

Our company chose Qiyun Mountain Retreat for our team-building event, and everyone agreed it was the perfect choice! The hotel is nestled by the mountains and water, offering spacious grounds with lush courtyards, water features, and Zen-inspired landscaping – perfect for team photos and leisurely strolls. Inside, the lobby's dry wood and floral arrangements are grand and appealing. The mountain and water views are expansive and uncrowded. The guest rooms offer a variety of options, including king rooms and courtyard rooms, ensuring comfortable stays even for multiple guests. The bedding is clean and comfortable, and the amenities are comprehensive. The restaurant has plenty of large private rooms, serving Huaiyang cuisine and special vegetarian dishes to cater to all tastes. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options suitable for all ages. For team activities, we could book experiences like incense appreciation and scripture copying, which created a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere. The staff were proactive in helping with luggage and setting up our event space. With the beautiful natural scenery of Qixia Mountain, a serene and elegant environment, and complete facilities, this place is ideal for team building and small gatherings. Our company will definitely prioritize it for future outings.

NancywangI drove to Nanjing for a trip. Location aside, the bathtub is solid and the hot water is consistently stable. It comes with a Laifen high-speed hairdryer, which is powerful and leaves you feeling refreshed after use. The projection TV has excellent clarity and runs smoothly without lag, making for a great movie-watching experience from bed. The fifth-floor rooftop coffee bar is a hidden gem; sitting on the terrace enjoying the evening breeze is very pleasant, and if you want a drink, just contact the front desk and staff will deliver it to your room. All food deliveries are handled by robots. My luggage and clothes were neatly stored, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly. The check-in and check-out process at the front desk was simple, and any issues were promptly and properly resolved. All facilities in the room were new and in perfect condition, with no hygienic blind spots. The overall comfort of the stay was exceptional.

lucent8750When showering, water leaked out of the shower stall. I booked a suite, and the first bed was a bit firm, but the second one was very comfortable. The hotel's service was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful. Even though it was busy during the Chinese New Year holiday, they did a good job managing the breakfast area. The underground parking has charging stations that work for Xpeng cars. I also lost my Apple AirPods in the room, and they helped me mail them back. Overall, highly recommended!

Five-Day Stay in Nanjing
Check-in Experience
We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee.
Accommodation
We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit:
Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property.
RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games.
**Ratings**
Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities.
Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout.
Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days.
**Things to Consider**
It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center.
If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include:
- ATV rides
- Fishing area
- Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter)
- Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry)
- Train ride (30 RMB)
The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car.
**Challenges We Faced**
My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available.
However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.
