"The hotel is strategically located in Ximending, just a 5–10 minute walk from Ximen Station, making it very convenient for getting around the city.
The room was spacious and clean. However, guests should note that the shower and toilet door are slightly see-through, making silhouettes visible from outside, which may be a privacy concern for some.
The room's soundproofing was also quite poor. We could clearly hear guests in the neighboring room talking loudly in the middle of the night, which affected our sleep quality.
In addition, the air conditioning did not seem to cool the room effectively. The temperature could not be adjusted to a lower setting, and the room felt noticeably warmer than the corridor outside."

Guest UserThe view was fantastic, with a clear sight of Taipei 101 in the distance. The room had a convenient table, perfect for a quick bite or a drink. Since it was an anniversary celebration, the hotel kindly provided a bottle of champagne, which really set a lovely atmosphere. The staff were all polite and had excellent service. And the breakfast was really good too! ♡

ChinaJungI like to come there when im in Taipei. Its a good hotel and generous sized rooms. Also I need say thank you for the great check in. I arrived a bit early and could check in earlier to make fresh (unfortunately I forgot the ladies name). The Japanese room service breakfast was also decent and fast delivered. I know all need sustainable at this time, but it would be more convenient if there are shaving kit and a toothbrush in the room or the front desk would ask upon check in, if need.

Guest UserExcellent and very friendly service throughout my entire stay from doorman to concierge to front desk to housekeeping to restaurant to gym. Great location next to Shandao temple MRT and within walking distance to Taipei station, nice restaurants, cafes and the famed Fuhang soy milk. I also enjoyed the excellent lunch buffer at the hotel restaurant Kitchen 12 at incredibly reasonable price. But please note that Marriott Bonvoy platinum elite or higher tier members do not receive the usual executive lounge access or free breakfast if you book via Trip.com (you need to book directly with Marriott to enjoy the benefits).

Facilities: There's a 7-Eleven nearby and a FamilyMart right across the street, which is quite convenient overall. However, it's a bit far from the subway station, at least a 15-minute walk. The hotel can help call a taxi.
Service: The service was good. On the first day, my room had a very strong perfume smell, which made me uncomfortable as soon as I entered. I immediately contacted the front desk to request a room change. After about a 10-minute wait, staff assisted me in successfully changing rooms! Throughout my stay, all my needs were met to my satisfaction!
The hotel offers views of Songshan Airport and Taipei 101 on one side, and the Ferris wheel 🎡 on the other!

Guest UserA nice hotel with decent size rooms and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Quiet at night and easy to get an uber from. It sadly doesn’t have a pool which would have been nice. Breakfast was decent enough and the staff were nice. Near to an MRT station but we mainly used Ubers as it was cheap and easy to di so. Some restaurants bear the hotel for easy dining including a great Turkish one over the Main Street.

Shī D.I had an exceptional stay at Éclat Hotel Taipei. The room was immaculate and beautifully designed with high-end touches like a Dyson hair dryer and a Nespresso machine. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional, making the check-in process seamless. I also loved the location it’s in the heart of Da’an District, very close to the MRT and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and convenience stores. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Taipei!
