We were upgraded to a full sea-view room, and the moment I drew back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned by the breathtaking view. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive vista, with the blue sky and white clouds making the sea even more captivating. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The staff were all very kind and friendly. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, though the quality was just average.

My family and I had a truly wonderful stay at the Gulangyu Seaview Hotel (Sanqiutian Wharf, Longtou Road Commercial Street branch). First and foremost, I want to extend a special thanks to the hotel team for their warm and thoughtful service. Since my mother, who was traveling with us, is elderly and has mobility issues, the hotel not only proactively upgraded our room for free but also very thoughtfully provided a complimentary wheelchair rental service. This was incredibly helpful for a family traveling with an elder and made our Gulangyu trip much easier. The front desk staff were also very professional and enthusiastic. During check-in, they took the initiative to tell us about local promotions and gave us some coupons, which helped us save some money during our trip. These seemingly small details really made us feel that the hotel genuinely cares about its guests. Furthermore, the front desk recommended a local restaurant to us. It turned out to be an excellent recommendation! The food was delicious, allowing us to taste authentic local flavors, and it added many wonderful memories to our trip. What touched me even more was how friendly and kind the hotel owner himself was. He initiated conversations with us, sharing his past travel experiences in Sabah, Malaysia. The whole conversation was relaxed and pleasant; it felt less like talking to a hotel owner and more like chatting with an old friend I'd known for years. This sincere and natural interaction made us feel a strong sense of human kindness, making our stay exceptionally warm and memorable. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, close to Sanqiutian Wharf and Longtou Road Commercial Street, making it easy to visit attractions and enjoy local cuisine. The rooms were comfortable and tidy, making for a very pleasant stay. Many hotels have beautiful rooms, but what truly makes guests want to return is the service and warmth. Gulangyu Seaview Hotel not only provided a comfortable accommodation environment but also made me feel genuine care and warm hospitality. Thank you again to the hotel team for their care, to the front desk staff for their enthusiastic assistance and thoughtful recommendations, and especially to the owner for his warm hospitality, complimentary room upgrade, and free wheelchair rental for my mother. These thoughtful arrangements made our trip even more relaxed and enjoyable. If I have the opportunity to visit Gulangyu again in the future, I will definitely stay here again and will not hesitate to recommend it to my friends and family. GGuest UserI had an excellent stay at InterContinental Xiamen by IHG. The location is perfect, the buffet food is delicious, and the overall service quality is outstanding. I especially want to thank Jason, Henry, Suzy, as well as the Manager on Duty, for their exceptional support and kindness throughout my stay. They were always very attentive, answered all of my questions, and went above and beyond to help me during an issue with delayed luggage. My luggage was delayed for one day, and my colleague’s luggage for two days, and the staff was always available and proactive in helping us coordinate with the airline and recover our bags. Their professionalism, warmth, and willingness to help made a very stressful situation much easier. I’m truly very grateful for all their support. Highly recommended hotel for both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel's new Chinese-style decor is sophisticated and elegant. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer unbeatable panoramic views of Haicang Bay and the bridge, allowing me to take in the beautiful sunrise, sunset, and dazzling nightscapes right from my bed – every shot was picture-perfect. The room was spacious and airy, the bedding soft and skin-friendly, and the bathroom clean and refined with a large, atmospheric bathtub. The tea set and amenities were comprehensive, showing thoughtful attention to detail everywhere, making my stay feel incredibly blissful. I must give a huge shout-out to our dedicated butler, Bella! Her service was meticulous, attentive, and perfectly executed. She was incredibly responsive to all our requests, proactively arranged our check-in, anticipated our needs, and responded promptly with such a gentle and caring manner. GGuobao^_^Overall, it was pretty good. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around. The pier is about 500 meters from the entrance, and it's just a fifteen-minute boat ride to Xiamen No. 1 Pier, making it easy to go anywhere. A concierge even proactively helped us with directions to the pier; he was really enthusiastic 👍. The ferry ticket to Gulangyu Island was only 35 RMB, and the hotel breakfast was decent too. Regarding the upgrade to a deluxe sea-view room (subject to availability on the day): I booked a superior sea-view room, and the front desk upgraded us to a deluxe sea-view family room. For the mini-bar, you need to proactively contact the front desk for refills. Also, for the cute little souvenir doll included in the package, you need to ask the front desk for it. It's a really adorable doll 🥰

I was already at the airport, about to check in, when I suddenly received a call from the hotel's Assistant Lobby Manager, asking if I had left anything in the room safe. It was then that it hit me – my most important documents and belongings were still in there! While I was incredibly anxious, the Assistant Lobby Manager didn't hesitate for a second. She immediately and decisively arranged for a driver to take my items from the hotel to the airport. In the end, I safely and smoothly retrieved everything without any delay to my travel plans. My heartfelt thanks go out to the hotel's Assistant Lobby Manager and the staff for their attentiveness, honesty, and professionalism. Their proactive and responsible attitude, and their willingness to go above and beyond for guests, has truly changed my perception of your hotel's service. You not only helped me avoid a loss but also made me feel truly 'at home.' I will definitely choose this hotel again next time and recommend it to all my friends!

YYutousan333To be honest, it was much better than I expected. I saw reviews saying the rooms were old, but I actually found it quite good, just a normal older hotel. 1. The room was spacious. 2. The facilities were complete. 3. Although the bathroom had a bathtub and a shower curtain, the water pressure was excellent, making for a very comfortable shower. The only downside was that the hairdryer's airflow was really weak... Since we had stayed at a B&B in Pingtan for 690 yuan during the May Day holiday before this, near Xianrenjing, the soundproofing was terrible, the room was tiny, and the toilet wouldn't drain. Comparing the two, I think the Millennium Hotel is fantastic! 😂 Plus, the location is super convenient, right next to the subway exit, about 60 meters away, and at the beginning of Zhongshan Road. I really liked it. It's also close to popular bubble tea shops like Cuida (at China Plaza), just opposite the hotel. We stayed on the 20th floor, and the view was great too. All the sunset photos were taken by me, I genuinely recommend it! (Though I do think keeping expectations low definitely helps with a better experience 😂)

GGuest UserWhat a waste of a good location, the service was absolutely disgusting, I'm never coming back! I was traveling with my child and had a reservation. We arrived at 1:30 PM, only to be told there were no rooms available and we had to wait. Fine, I'll wait. But when I asked when a room would be ready, they said they didn't know, just 'before 3 PM,' with a totally impatient attitude. Finally, at 3:26 PM, they told me a room was ready... Okay, I swallowed that. But then they insisted I provide my infant child's household registration or ID? My kid has been on planes and high-speed trains without needing an ID, why is it different here? I even endured that. The worst part was the staff member's even more atrocious attitude. She threatened me, saying if I didn't show the child's ID, she'd call the duty manager!! Are you kidding me? Am I here to be threatened by you? I've stayed in 95% of five-star hotels all over the world, and none of them have such unique requirements. If your rules are different, can't you just explain it properly? Why threaten guests???? Why don't you just call the police and accuse me of child trafficking??? What a joke!!!!!!!!!!

AAnonymous UserTraveling with my child, I found the lobby grand and the room clean and hygienic. The disposable slippers and toiletries were great, and they even provided children's lotion, which was a thoughtful touch. The kids' club was also quite clean; although not very large, it was perfect for an hour of fun to let the kids burn off some energy. What impressed me most was the Le Wei restaurant. The buffet allows one child under 120cm to dine for free, which is very practical and considerate. The hotel is right next to the Rainbow Boardwalk and the beach, and the beachfront restaurant even has live music, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Overall, it's an excellent family-friendly hotel. My child had a fantastic experience and said they want to come back again.
