"A wonderful new hotel! The best we've stayed in in Japan so far. The rooms are clean, beautifully designed, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the room is spacious at 23 square meters. This wasn't easy to find within our budget. The receptionists are very nice and helpful. 👌 The room has a great hair dryer, perfect for styling. There's also a fully equipped kitchen and a great coffee machine. The train station is a 20-minute walk away, and the city center is a bus ride away. But the hotel is in a cozy, quiet residential area. The supermarket is a 7-minute walk away. We're very happy! 😊"

"The staff at the front desk was amazing and let us check in ahead of the specified time which I am so grateful for, we went to drop off the luggage but were informed that the room was ready so we proceeded to check in. Be advised that Kyoto charges a tourist tax to be paid in cash only. The room was spacious and very cozy, however the bathroom had a must/moldy smell. I didn’t let the staff know because they were gracious to let us check in early and I didn’t want to be a nuisance also it wasn’t a deal breaker for us but might be for some people. Laundry was complementary. Also this is the 4th hotel that we checked in into in Japan in a week span and is the first hotel not to offer basic necessities as in lotion, razor, moisturizer for face and body among others; for the price paid I expected more. We did get a super cute reusable bag."

"I had a wonderful stay at Tanimachikun HOTEL Kyoto Station Higashi 29! The location is very convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby facilities, making travel around Kyoto very easy. A special thank you to Yusaku and Kai for their kind and enthusiastic help ❤️ They patiently assisted us with the luggage delivery process and helped us fill out all the necessary forms smoothly. Their service was incredibly thoughtful and truly appreciated! One very important thing for me was how exceptionally clean the room was ✨ As someone who is sensitive to dust, I usually have trouble sleeping in hotels, but I was able to sleep comfortably and peacefully here. That alone made the stay perfect for me. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto!"

"Here's a breakdown of my stay: **Location:** To get there, take bus 208 or 206 from Kyoto JR Station and alight at 'Hakubutsukan Sanjusangendo-mae' (Museum Sanjusangendo Front). It's about a ten-minute walk from there. **Price:** I paid HKD 1590 for two nights in a two-bedroom suite, which works out to HKD 265 per person per night. Excellent value for money, highly recommend booking this place. **Facilities:** The room was quite spacious, with enough room to open two 26-inch suitcases. The kitchen is cleverly tucked away under a counter, you just lift the countertop to access it. It's fully equipped, though the only downside is the lack of a full-length mirror. **Bathroom:** The bathroom isn't huge, but it has a separate wet and dry area. The bathtub allows you to control the water volume and temperature electronically for a soak. However, if you turn up the shower's water pressure, it starts running cold, so the water temperature can be a bit inconsistent. **Lobby:** The lobby is spacious and offers complimentary disposable toiletries. There are also two washing machines with detergent pods and a dryer function. The only drawback is that check-in times are limited, so be sure to check those details. Additionally, you can find a luggage delivery service at the guest services center, but that also has time restrictions."

"Great apartment style accommodation. Having the washing machine and dryer in the bathroom was very convenient and time saving. Kitchen and bigger fridge is very convenient also. As for location it was close to the bus stop which was very useful during our trip. Check-in was very easy and the rooms were very tidy and clean"

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The environment was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day of traveling. The room was well maintained, and all the facilities I needed were available and easy to use. The atmosphere was peaceful, and I was able to sleep very well. Overall, it was a convenient and comfortable place to stay. I would be happy to come back again and recommend it to other travelers."

"It’s a 15-20 minute walk from Kyoto station in a pretty dark alley. The place was very clean when we arrived. There nobody at the counter and we checked in late around 8pm. The staff were kind enough to email us the pass code to our rooms and allow us to check in pass the usual operating hours. We were in Kyoto for 4 nights. The location is convenient and it was clean when we checked in however the room wasn’t cleaned on a daily basis, probably only cleaned once before check in. It’s not ok if you’re someone who expects the room to be cleaned everyday or every couple of days, otherwise it’s fine The reception is located around 20-30 min walking distance from the inn(near Kyoto station). we wanted to leave our luggage at the reception for awhile after we check out, so we had to travel down to the reception with our luggage after checking out. We had our luggage transferred from Narita airport to the the inn. We had to email the staff for assistance as the reception is not located at inn. We overall had a good experience but do take note of the cons if your schedule/requirements are not as flexible. Staff replied to my emails very quickly and were very friendly and flexible."

"All are great, until the day we checkout, the lady bring a ton of dirty tower each floors, causing the underarm smell spreading out from 1F to guest room, we should have better hygiene to the air indoor. Thank you"

"The room is very clean and big with a kitchen, and the environment is really quiet. However, there was not room service everyday even I stayed there more than two nights and you need to spend around 10 mins to go to/ return from the train station every times. I recommend this room to the one who looked for a room with kitchen."
