Since opening, the Jinling Hotel Nanjing has hosted distinguished guests from all over the world. Acclaimed for its graciousness, authenticity and “Golden Touch of Hospitality,” it offers an ideal setting for travel, business meetings, and special events.Jinling Hotel Asia Pacific Tower now is fully operational to create the largest luxury hotel complex in Jiangsu province, China. To complement the guest rooms and functions of the original tower, the Jinling Hotel complex contains over 100,000 square meters of international-standard offices and an upscale shopping area. The hotel has various types of rooms, over 4,000 square meters of modern and well-equipped meeting venues as well as 13 small meeting rooms, and includes an advanced health club, and standard swimming pool. The hotel also features fine dining restaurants, at which discriminating diners may enjoy authentic Huaiyang Cuisine and international cuisine. Fascinating, elegant, and inviting – the Jinling Hotel Nanjing demonstrates its profound understanding of Chinese hospitality to its guests in an understated but luxurious fashion.

"A perfect family-friendly oasis in Nanjing's scorching summer – once you stay, you'll understand what 'home away from home' truly means. In August, I bravely ventured to Nanjing with my two 'little monsters,' and my biggest worries were the humid heat and the hassle of getting around. But after choosing the Jinling Hotel, all my anxieties melted away – this trip was truly a 'textbook experience for traveling with kids.' Boasting a prime location, getting anywhere felt like 'cheating.' The hotel is nestled in the heart of Xinjiekou, with a subway station right outside and taxis readily available in seconds. In Nanjing's sauna-like weather, we primarily relied on the subway and taxis to 'commute.' No need for endless walking with the kids, which meant we saved all our energy for exploring and eating. This sense of ease was incredibly precious. Nanjing's flavors, from morning till night. Upon check-in, I specifically booked the Jinling Building's Shuangxin Twin-Bedroom Family Suite, which offered ample space and privacy. The biggest surprise, though, was the dining. The Huaiyang cuisine at Jinling Meiyuan and Jinling Fanzhuang was exquisite and authentic, even delighting the children. I particularly have to praise the large meat buns; the dough was fluffy, and the filling had just the right balance of sweet and savory – my child devoured two in one sitting! The hotel's own bakery and cafe also became our 'energy replenishment stations.' After a tiring afternoon of sightseeing, a slice of cake and a latte instantly recharged us. Heartwarming service made traveling with kids stress-free. From the moment we walked in, every staff member greeted us with a genuine smile. Seeing us with children, they proactively helped with our luggage. While dining at Meiyuan, my eldest suddenly felt unwell, and the staff promptly provided warm water and fresh orange juice. These thoughtful details radiated warmth, allowing the adults to completely relax and making the children so happy they didn't want to leave. This feeling of 'being taken care of' was truly wonderful. Although Nanjing in August was hot and humid, the hotel's seamless transportation connections made it completely manageable. Upon check-out, my child reluctantly said, 'I want to stay here again next time.' Indeed, a good hotel isn't just a place to rest; it's a source of security during a journey. The Jinling Hotel, with its location, delicious food, and human touch, transformed the summer heat into a wealth of warm memories. I highly recommend it to all families traveling with children – come here, hand over the 'worries' to them, and keep the joy for yourselves. We've already secretly added it to our 'revisit list'!"

Hotel near Confucius Temple/Qinhuai River Scenic Area,Nanjing
The hotel is located in the heart of the Confucius Temple area in the center of Nanjing, enjoying a prime location within the Qinhuai Scenic Belt. Oriented north to south, it showcases a style of "blue bricks, small tiles, horse-head walls, and corridor railings with flower-lattice windows", presenting an ancient and elegant atmosphere that is both charming and radiant. The hotel has been awarded the titles of "Famous Trademark of Jiangsu Province" and "Famous Trademark of Nanjing City" by the provincial and municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce on multiple occasions. It is a distinctive foreign tourist hotel that imitates the architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Currently, it offers nearly 70 types of guest rooms, most of which are built along the river, arranged in a staggered manner, allowing guests to enjoy the serene river views directly. The guest room design follows a courtyard layout, which is both novel and unique. The hotel's catering services consist of four parts: Qinhuai Family, Wanqing Lou, Taste Family, and Han Yixing Halal Restaurant, providing a total of 600 dining seats. The meticulously prepared "Eight Delicacies of Qinhuai" snacks have become a representative of Nanjing's snacks. When the lights are just turned on and the moon rises over the eastern mountains, dining at Qinhuai Family's restaurant will enable you to experience the ancient charm of "the lights and oars on the Qinhuai River". (The hotel's parking lot is located at the intersection of Xiaoshi Dam Street and Pingjiangfu Road, to the west.)

"Our overall stay was fantastic! The front desk staff were so kind and efficient with check-in. They even gave us some thoughtful recommendations for local sightseeing. The room was meticulously cleaned, and the bedding was super soft, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The on-site restaurant served authentic Qinhuai snacks, which was a real treat. For a hotel located in a tourist area, the price was excellent value for money. The Ming and Qing dynasty-style courtyards and corridors were perfect for photos, whether you're a couple or traveling with family. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Nanjing."

The InterContinental also offers foreign currency exchange for those travelers coming from outside of China.A fitness center is available for guests looking to stay in shape, while those who want to do so while cooling off can take a swim in the indoor or outdoor pool.

"The hotel's scenery is truly breathtaking, especially at night – it's absolutely stunning. However, the facilities are a bit dated, and the room decor feels a little old-fashioned. On the bright side, the service is excellent. I'm not sure why, but the bathroom and toilet area had no lights, making it very dark. Aside from that, it was still good. The bathroom reminded me a bit of the Conrad in Hangzhou. Breakfast was decent, pretty standard."

The Yihe garden provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Nanjing will find that the Yihe garden is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is only 6km from Nanjingnan Railway Station and 36km from Nanjing Lukou International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. In addition, Wudingmen Metro Station is just a short walk away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Bailuzhou Park, Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) Qinhuai River Boat Tour and Wang Dao Xie An Memorial Hall all nearby. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Nanjing hotel features parking on site. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"Location: Situated within the Old Dongmen Pedestrian Street, this hotel is a renovation of the former Jieziyuan Garden. Given the immense popularity and high foot traffic of Old Dongmen, I recommend getting off at the Lawson store in Old Dongmen and walking the approximately 50 meters to the hotel. Alternatively, you can park at gate 5 of P3 parking and take the elevator directly to the hotel. Architecture: The hotel features a garden-style architectural design with a staggered layout, boasting four courtyards from the lobby to the restaurant. Winding through halls and alleys, it perfectly embodies the typical Jiangnan architectural style. The design is antique and elegant, and even the room key cards are adorned with a copper key, which seems to be a signature touch of the Yihe brand, as seen in the Songmao Bureau on Pingjiang Road in Suzhou. Room: The room was impeccably clean and smelled wonderfully fresh. It beautifully blends traditional and modern elements while preserving the ancient building's ambiance. The bathroom is spacious, and the bathtub is a good size. The non-slip bathmat is the trendy, extra-wide plush type favored by many popular B&Bs. However, the vanity was missing hand towels and a shaving kit. Service: The front desk staff was very accommodating. Hearing that I had trouble finding the hotel, they not only arranged a room upgrade but also proactively acted as a concierge, helping me with my luggage and showing me to my room. Furthermore, the waitstaff (or perhaps manager) at the Wanguochun restaurant was incredibly warm, polite, and attentive. Food: The deliciousness of Wanguochun is undeniable. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast presentation could be improved, but I was pleasantly surprised to find bayberries on offer. The set menu I booked for Wanguochun's lunch was supposed to be a 'four-piece set,' but in addition to a soup, a meat dish, a vegetable dish, and a dessert, it also included rice, fruit, and a pot of tea, making for a truly bountiful spread. According to the in-room guest handbook, the hotel also has a whiskey bar called 'Zui Tianxia,' which I unfortunately didn't get to experience this time, so I'll save that for my next visit."

"This time I took my children to the newly opened Hampton by Hilton on Digital Avenue of Nanjing South Railway Station. The overall experience was full. The reception in the front hall, the room environment, the health details to the breakfast package were particularly outstanding. The front desk staff was particularly attentive and thoughtful. When we checked in, we learned that we took the children to travel. Not only did we turn on the air conditioner in advance to ensure that the temperature of the room was suitable, but also placed fresh fruits in the room. The children also received a small gift when interacting with the front desk. They were very happy. When checking out, the staff also took the initiative to ask about the check-in experience carefully. , the whole process is warm and gentle and very good; the hotel is a new store all facilities are brand new and intact, the room layout is reasonable and comfortable, the hardware experience is very good; the whole house is cleaned very meticulously, the rooms and public areas are clean and odorless, and the hygiene standards are very high. Living is particularly safe; The hotel's breakfast is rich in taste and taste. The whole family's dining process is easy and pleasant. Whether it is a parent-child trip or a short-distance residence, it is very suitable. The location is close to Nanjing South Railway Station. It is convenient to travel. "Traveling to Nanjing, one of China's 'Four Furnaces,' with my bestie, I carefully selected this hotel. It topped Ctrip's 'Stylish Hotels,' 'Design-Focused Hotels,' and 'Luxury Hotels' lists, and the reviews were great. Upon arrival, the staff helped with our luggage, thoughtfully asked about our room preferences, and even escorted us to our room, turning on the AC and reminding us to close the screens. The hotel has lush greenery, and since it's spread across three buildings, the staff kindly offered complimentary laundry service, including washing, drying, and delivery back to the room, so we wouldn't have to brave the heat. For food deliveries, the front desk staff would personally bring them to our room, saving us the trip. The attention to detail was truly impressive. On the day we stayed, the hotel also hosted various activities: an intangible cultural heritage exhibition, robot dancing, folk music performances, parent-child basketball and soccer games, and a small scenic swimming pool. They had it all, from intangible cultural heritage lacquer fans and sugar paintings to sachets – the experience was absolutely fantastic! I've stayed in hotels in many cities, but this is the first time I've encountered such a rich and diverse offering within a hotel. You really don't need to leave! Discovering the voco Nanjing Xuanwu Lake made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!"

"I highly recommend the Pudin Yanxuan Hotel (Nanjing Tongshan Metro Station)! ✅ [Location] The hotel is located 800 meters south of Exit 1 of Tongshan Metro Station and is very close to Lukou Airport, making it perfect for catching flights. ✅ [Front Desk Service] Our family of three stayed here, and the front desk was incredibly thoughtful. They proactively upgraded our room for free, providing a much more spacious bed, which made our experience fantastic. ✅ [Airport Shuttle Service] The hotel offers an airport shuttle service. Before departure, they call to wake you up and remind you of your departure time, so you don't have to worry about oversleeping. The shuttle driver was warm and attentive, helping us with our luggage, and the ride took about 15 minutes directly to the airport. It made traveling hassle-free and efficient. This is my top choice for early morning flights and layovers. The overall service is thoughtful and excellent. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm catching a flight!"

Booked this place for a business trip to Nanjing and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, with a large bay window offering excellent natural light. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the shredded radish pancake was absolutely delicious! The lounge on the first floor was also very convenient for business meetings. My foreign colleague traveling with me also spoke highly of it. If I return to Nanjing, I would certainly choose to stay here again.

I was initially asked by the hotel to leave a five-star review, but after my full stay I can’t do so in good conscience, and I have since adjusted my rating based on the second half of my booking. This was a two-part stay (two separate bookings of five days each), and while there are genuinely strong positives, the overall experience was significantly affected by ongoing service and cleanliness issues. There are still clear strengths to highlight. The location is excellent—quiet, safe, and surrounded by good restaurants, convenience stores, and a pleasant park nearby. The rooms are also very well designed: spacious, comfortable, and equipped with useful amenities such as a washing machine. The layout and overall setup make it a very livable space. The staff were, for the most part, kind and helpful. One staff member in particular was consistently warm and welcoming. When issues were raised, the team did attempt to respond professionally, and I do appreciate that some solutions were offered, including a discounted rate for a future stay. However, there were repeated concerns that affected my experience, particularly during the second half of my stay. Cleanliness remained a consistent issue. Even after rooms were serviced, dust accumulated very quickly—so much so that items like my laptop would be visibly covered overnight. This raises concerns about the overall level of cleanliness and ventilation. In addition, housekeeping services felt inconsistent. On multiple occasions I had to specifically request basic essentials such as bottled water and fresh towels, rather than these being proactively restocked daily as would normally be expected in this type of accommodation. Service consistency also varied. Some days staff would check in or ask whether I needed room cleaning, while on other days there was no such follow-up at all. This lack of routine made the experience feel unpredictable for a stay of this length. There were also concerns regarding pricing and communication during an attempted extension of my stay. I had initially paid approximately 268 rand per night (already at a discounted rate). When I asked to extend for one additional night during the May Day holiday period, I was quoted around 800 rand. While I understand that rates fluctuate during peak demand, this felt inconsistent given the earlier discount offered due to the significant issues experienced in the first rooms. The handling of this request also felt quite rigid initially, although the pricing discussion changed once I indicated I would be leaving a review. By that point, however, I had already made alternative arrangements in another city. I also noticed a change in overall tone and attentiveness from staff following my initial complaints, particularly on the day I was trying to extend my stay. In that instance, even basic housekeeping services were not offered, which contributed to a feeling of inconsistency in service. Ultimately, I think this hotel has strong potential. The location, room design, and general setup are genuinely excellent, and there are staff members who are clearly committed and welcoming. However, the inconsistency in cleanliness standards, basic housekeeping expectations, and service delivery means I cannot recommend it as a reliably high-quality stay at this stage. With more consistent attention to cleanliness and service fundamentals, this could be an excellent hotel experience—but in its current state, it falls short of that standard.

Last May Day, we visited the Club Med in Taicang, and the GOs recommended the newly opened Club Med in Nanjing. This summer, I brought my child here for a weekend (three days, two nights) during the school holidays, and the experience was fantastic, definitely a full five-star rating! **Accommodation:** The rooms were clean and tidy, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The cleaning staff were very friendly and patient, always refilling our drinking water. The resort grounds are spacious and comfortable, with excellent natural surroundings. You can overlook the lake from the balcony, offering a wide and open view. **Activities:** There are plenty of facilities for play, both indoors and outdoors. We happened to be here during a heatwave, so we mostly opted for indoor activities. The indoor sports area includes basketball, badminton, table tennis, billiards, and rock climbing, as well as a 'parkour' area (similar to an adventure course) that my child loved, which we visited for two consecutive days. You can also book KTV sessions. When it's hot, you can also sit at the U Bar and play cards, which is very relaxing. Outdoor activities are also abundant. You can cross a bridge to 'Explore Park,' where you can try archery, kayaking, windsurfing, or even the 'flying trapeze.' However, the flying trapeze requires training, and you need to be able to hang from a bar with both hands for at least ten counts. Neither of us had that much grip strength (we could only manage up to five), so we just watched other 'experts' try it. Kayaking was quite nice; the lake water was clear, and there were little ducks swimming around. It's best to go in the late afternoon, around 5-6 pm, to avoid the intense sun for a better experience. My sister and I kayaked together, and circling the large lake wasn't tiring at all. It's suitable for mothers or older children with moderate physical fitness. **Service:** The butler service was online throughout our stay, with quick responses and smooth communication. Whether it was booking activities or requesting supplies, they responded and handled everything promptly. When we wanted a clothes drying rack for our swimwear on the balcony after swimming, it was provided very quickly, which was incredibly thoughtful and professional. Being peak summer holiday season, the restaurant entrance traffic was also managed efficiently; just stating your room number allowed for quick entry, which was very user-friendly. Here, you can shed your fatigue and quietly enjoy your holiday. I'm already planning to come back when the weather isn't so scorching (the 'furnace city' reputation is certainly well-deserved). **Two additional points:** There's an external food delivery pick-up point near the entrance, which is very convenient. I also loved the hotel's lighting fixtures; they were very artistic. Finally, a big thank you to our butler, KIKI Angel, for the excellent service!

This hostel changed the idea I had of a great hostel! SEE OTHER REVIEWS FOR COMPREHENSIVE UNDERSTANDING CHECK-IN/STAFF: Simple & easy. There is a language barrier with most of the staff, but it's nothing a little patience, on both ends, and a translator can't fix. I was helped to my room with my bags. I personally enjoyed the staff and especially one of the cleaning ladies. She was truly a joy to see every day and seemed like she genuinely liked seeing me. They helped when my food order had issues, twice. I was helped getting I was running late for my train on check-out morning. ROOMS/FACILITIES: Comfortable, clean and curtain for the beds. I the rooms are reasonably spacious. The average person follows the general quiet in the rooms so you can sleep peacefully any time you want. The blanket is thick, some beds have extra little hooks. (Would be nice if they added them for all beds) Pillows are decent, towel and locker provided. Beds have North American & Chinese style plugs. The entire outlet system of the building seems to be that way. AMENITIES/GOOD TO KNOW Laundry detergent, toothbrush/toothpaste individually wrapped units and earplugs provided at no cost. Towel/bed sheet change upon request is offered if stay is 3+ days. The main lobby toilets are used buy restaurants guests from next door. The is security at night (not personally for the hostel, for the alley) Private homes are across the way so keep the volume low to quiet after 10pm. OVERALL/PERSONAL THOUGHTS ” I would recommend staying here for a short or long period. Excellent valut for dollars. I felt very welcomed, comfortable & overall relaxed. My only real complaint is the lack of fridge, microwave and a sink area. As a budget traveler it can get costly having to order or go out for every meal is super inconvenient. To be fair, you can ask for your items to be placed in the staff fridge at the bar. The downside is having to wait and ask for staff to get it for me. This was super frustrating when I wanted my food and had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to finally be able to do it. Not to mention the general inconvenience of not being able to go to a fridge at will. Even though there's a laundry area upstairs, many people will do laundry in the sinks leaving the bathroom floors constantly wet and countertops soaked. Not management's fault but could possibly be addressed in the rules. There are days where a gentleman will come sit outside the hostel or the general alley area with Barky McBarkerson his incredibly annoying dog that's constantly barking at everyone and everything. When they're directly on the property hanging out infront don't even think of enjoying the fresh air peacefully . I think there's a way for management to address bothersome behavior to their guest. IMO if management could somehow provide a common fridge and a microwave, they would be close to top tier hostel all things considered. Review based on multiple stays. Enjoy

The hotel is super convenient for transportation, it's only about a five or six-minute walk to the subway station, which is incredibly friendly for tourists! I arrived quite early because I was on an early train, and the front desk staff proactively helped me with my luggage. Their service attitude was excellent, and they even arranged for me to check in early! The price is economical and affordable, and the environment is very clean. It's incredibly good value for money!

The hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of Xinjiekou, not far from the subway station. Downstairs, there are numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The room was nice, clean, and well-equipped. The mattress had just the right firmness, and I appreciated trying out the memory foam pillow, which was quite comfortable. The only downsides were that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, the soundproofing of the room was average, and the swing-out bathroom door sagged a bit, making it difficult to close. Overall, it's a decent hotel, and considering its location, facilities, and price, it offers good value for money!

Five-Day Stay in Nanjing Check-in Experience We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee. Accommodation We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit: Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property. RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games. **Ratings** Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities. Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout. Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days. **Things to Consider** It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center. If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include: - ATV rides - Fishing area - Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter) - Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry) - Train ride (30 RMB) The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car. **Challenges We Faced** My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available. However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.
