"On a short trip to Nanjing after returning from Kuala Lumpur, I focused on Xinjiekou based on online reviews, and Jinling Hotel consistently ranked high. After checking in, I was very satisfied with the service, location, and dining. I highly recommend choosing the Asia Pacific Tower for its superior amenities; the Dyson hairdryer was a definite plus. Located in the heart of the business district, it's very close to Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) and the Presidential Palace, with plenty of local snacks like soup dumplings and duck blood vermicelli soup nearby. It's an old-established hotel even local drivers recommend, making it the top choice for a short getaway."

"Traveling from Nanjing South Railway Station, it's just a few minutes' walk to the hotel. From the moment I stepped in, the front desk gave me a warm welcome. Hui Siying was especially friendly and processed my check-in quickly. The hotel lobby had a cozy ambiance, and my room was well-equipped, clean, and very hygienic. The soundproofing was good, and overall, I was very satisfied with my stay! Five-star rating!"

"We are a family of three with one child, and we stayed at this hotel for four nights. When we first arrived, we had a little difficulty finding the hotel because the entrance looks like a traditional Chinese architectural building, making it easy to overlook. However, the moment we stepped inside, we were amazed by the stunning lobby. The interior is magnificent, featuring elegant Chinese Ming Dynasty-style architecture that creates a luxurious and authentic atmosphere. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of the Fuzimiao Pedestrian Street. Although the area outside is lively and bustling, the soundproofing inside the hotel is excellent. Our room was peaceful and quiet throughout our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, and the amenities were complete. We especially loved the shampoo and body lotion—they smelled wonderful and were of excellent quality. Every day, the hotel also provided complimentary fresh fruit, snacks, and cold drinks, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel offers a self-service laundry room with ironing facilities, as well as a small gym, both of which were very convenient. The only thing we missed was an AI room with the Xiaodu voice assistant and delivery robot, which some modern Chinese hotels provide. The staff were warm, friendly, and always greeted us with genuine smiles. I found myself taking countless photos in the magnificent main lobby because it is truly breathtaking. Besides being located on Fuzimiao Pedestrian Street, the hotel is also within walking distance of several famous attractions, including the Confucius Temple and the China Imperial Examination Museum. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nanjing."

"Lovely stay at this hotel. The room was very big and comfortable, although the walls are a little thin so can clearly hear people talking. For pet owners: note that the Laomendong pedestrian street is not pet friendly (even though there was no sign at the street that we walked through) but the area behind the hotel was lovely and quiet and great to walk the dog. We could also walk past the old city walls which was beautiful. Parking is nearby and quite convenient."

"Stepping into the room, I was immediately struck by the full-length windows. Being on a high floor, 30+, the view was completely unobstructed. In the evening, watching the sunset paint the entire city of Nanjing in gold, and then later overlooking the myriad of city lights at night – that feeling of 'seeing all of Jinling from the clouds' was truly breathtaking. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, even had a scenic bathtub. Soaking in the tub while admiring the city view was incredibly relaxing. The front desk service was excellent; a special shout-out to SXR at the front desk for arranging such a great room. The hotel was also flexible and accommodating to guest requests, which I really appreciated. The room was clean. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance."

"Visiting the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing, the most delightful surprise was staying at the Atour Hotel (Zhongshanling). The entire complex exudes an antique charm, with its grey brick arched corridors intertwined with ancient trees, blending the elegant Republic of China aesthetic with the lush greenery of the mountains. It's a tranquil retreat amidst the bustling city, incredibly soothing. The 'Chocolate Service' throughout my stay was excellent; the front desk and room service were attentive and thoughtful, proactive yet unobtrusive. My room was clean and smart, and the view of Zhongshan Mountain from the window was breathtaking. With direct access to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and the Sycamore Avenue, it's perfect for both sightseeing and relaxation. I wholeheartedly give it five stars – truly the top choice for a Nanjing getaway!"

"The hotel's location is great, and it has all the amenities you'd expect from a star-rated hotel. There are even EV charging stations in the underground parking, and the service is excellent, including late-night snacks delivered to the room. For this price point in Nanjing, it's really good value for money. They even upgraded us to a themed room, which was fantastic!"

"On a business trip to Nanjing, I specifically chose the newly opened Atour Hotel on Shanghai Road 3.6. The hotel's overall style is simple yet sophisticated, and the room layout is very well-designed. The bathroom is equipped with high-end Jo Loves toiletries, which feel very luxurious. The lighting in the room is soft, and the smart touch controls are very convenient. What I liked most, though, were Atour's bedding – the mattress offers great support and resilience, and combined with their Deep Sleep pillows, sleeping became exceptionally comfortable. Additionally, the hotel staff were very warm and attentive; they'd actively greet you in the hallways. It was a pretty good travel experience overall."

"The location is convenient, close to Xuanwu Lake, Nanjing University, Gulou Hospital, Gulou subway station, and Xinjiekou. We booked a family suite, but it only came with two breakfasts for four people. The front desk kindly arranged two more for us. Everything else was great, apart from the decor feeling a bit dated."

"A huge thank you to the front desk staff for the complimentary upgrade to an Executive Lake View room! Standing by the floor-to-ceiling windows on the 68th floor, we enjoyed panoramic views of Xuanwu Lake and the Ming City Wall, sometimes shrouded in morning mist like a wonderland, other times bathed in glorious sunshine. With our favorite music playing on the in-room Bluetooth speaker, our hotel getaway was completely untouched by any 'pandemic blues.' It was absolutely beautiful! The breakfast and lunch on the 45th floor were incredibly varied, especially lunch. The sheer number of options was so vast, I can only describe it as the dining area practically circling more than half of the floor – there was no way to try everything. My only slight regret was that dinner on the 47th floor was a bit less impressive, but that didn't diminish our love for the InterContinental Hotel one bit."
