"RANZ Lanzi hotel is just beside Dongmen Liaojie with lots of eateries around and it's super convenient to travel via MRT. The room is big and comfortable with the new towels sealed in plastic bags after every room makeup. In fact, it will be great if you want to go to Hong Kong for a day trip cos it's just 2 stations away from Luohu!"

Like an old friend, she softly asked if I was tired and if I'd like some hot tea. As she processed my check-in, she thoughtfully informed me of the breakfast times and the gym's location. At that moment, the city no longer felt so rushed. The room was on a high floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a view of the Shenzhen skyline. The sunlight streamed in, making the entire room bright and inviting. After dropping my luggage, the first thing I noticed was the makeup mirror on the vanity. It wasn't large, but the lighting was soft, and the angle was just right, making even someone like me, who rarely wears makeup, want to sit down and take a closer look. Next to it was a small magnifying mirror – a thoughtful touch in the details. In the bathroom, the smart toilet sat quietly in the corner. Sitting on it for the first time, the warm seat was a pleasant surprise, like a gentle embrace. The wash function and warm air dryer – every button was so considerate. I thought, this must be one of life's little joys – it doesn't need to be extravagant, just perfectly right. The room's amenities were also comprehensive. The bedding was so soft it made me want to linger in bed, and the TV, audio system, and coffee machine were all perfectly arranged. I brewed a cup of coffee and sat on the sofa by the window, watching the endless stream of cars below, yet my mind felt surprisingly calm. In the evening, I visited the gym. The equipment was new, the space was spacious, and the night view outside was mesmerizing. After a short run on the treadmill, I felt all the fatigue of the day being carried away with my sweat. When checking out the next day, the front desk asked again, ”Did you sleep well last night?” I smiled and nodded, thinking to myself that this hotel truly offers great value for money. Not because it's luxurious, but because it handles every detail with warmth, making guests feel comfortable and at home. If you're in Shenzhen and looking for a place where you can relax both your body and mind, Pengnian Wanli is definitely worth a try."

The hotel's location is its biggest highlight, approximately one kilometer from Dongmen Old Street and Luohu MixC. It offers full coverage of shopping districts, making it a one-stop shop for all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs, and its proximity to Grand Theater Metro Station makes getting around very convenient. The environment and hygiene were reassuring; cleaning left no neglected corners, the toilet and washbasin were sparkling clean, and the carpet had no dust or odors. The service was attentive and thoughtful; the front desk was staffed 24 hours, online calls for room service were answered promptly, and small issues were addressed by staff immediately upon arrival. The room facilities were brand new, with smart voice control for lights and curtains, a spacious shower with stable water pressure, and ample storage space with tables and chairs. The public areas were clean and tidy, the lounge area was quiet, and the soundproofing was outstanding, ensuring a peaceful night's rest free from external disturbances. Overall, the value for money is exceptional."

"Actually loved this hotel. Its is in an amazing location. Exit 32 in Futian Station is a few mins walk away and it makes it great to get to places all over Shenzhen. The staff are excellent and always at hand to help. It has amenities close by such as Starbucks (personally would recommend LuckinCoffee ) and Family Mart . The garden is amazing and love the fish! The only thing that I feel may need improvements is the breakfast . For the price I expected more of a variety especially for those travelling from the west. An iron for the room would be great too, I brought a cheap one while in china for my stay. Overall I would stay again and highly recommend it."

"The hotel's location is great, though the entrance isn't very obvious – it's actually right across from Huaqiangbei Road. You'll see a lot of international guests coming and going, many of whom are clearly young people visiting from abroad for business or travel. The geographical location is excellent, less than a few hundred meters from Huaqiang Station. There are plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop nearby, making it convenient for exploring various parts of Shenzhen. It can't compare to a grand hotel, but it's clean, which is a major plus. Try to avoid lower floors, as you'll experience vibrations from the subway passing by, basically from day to night. I was assigned an end room on the second floor, and the subway vibrations were constant throughout my stay, which definitely affected my sleep."
