"Stayed here during the Qingming Festival and I'm so glad I chose this hotel! It was a perfect experience and really took a lot of pressure off me as a first-time solo mom traveling with a child. A special shout-out to the housekeeping staff – their thoughtful service was an absolutely huge plus! I highly recommend upgrading to a room with a night view; the scenery outside the window is truly amazing. AAnitawongThis was one of the most beautiful memories I shared with my best friend. First, I really loved the hotel's design. The overall space is simple and natural, yet feels very premium. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with no cramped feeling at all. Every day, they replenished fresh fruit, instant noodles, drinks, and mineral water in the room. It's clear the hotel is very generous with the details, not stingy in the slightest. What surprised me most about the hotel was the extensive activity schedule. From morning to night, there were different experiences offered, many of which were free, including: - Yacht experience - Shell painting workshop - African drum class - Singing bowl healing session - Evening fireworks display The entire stay was never boring, making it perfect for families, friends, or couples on vacation. The service also deserves praise. Upon check-in, we received a thoughtfully prepared small gift, and all the staff were very enthusiastic, showing that the hotel truly values its guests. For dining, the Chinese restaurant was an absolute delight. The prices were much more reasonable than many resort hotels; two people could eat very well for around 250 RMB, and the food tasted excellent. It offered fantastic value for money. The freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast was exceptionally fresh and delicious, and the congee was surprisingly good—the kind that makes you want to have an extra bowl. Overall, Shanye (苫也) not only boasts beautiful surroundings and comfortable rooms but, more impressively, provides a very complete resort experience, allowing guests to truly slow down and relax. Here are a few small suggestions, hoping for even better improvements in the future: - Housekeeping in public areas could be more regularly patrolled, for example, in areas like the library. Timely cleaning and tidying would enhance the overall experience. - Used towels by the pool should ideally be collected and organized promptly to maintain the aesthetics of the environment. - Designing a unique hand-drawn map to be given to guests upon check-in would be a nice touch. It could help them explore the hotel and its surroundings on their own, adding an element of fun. - Some equipment (such as speakers used for class activities) should be regularly maintained, and their functionality confirmed before activities begin. - The service is already excellent, but if staff could offer more natural smiles, guests would feel even more warmly welcomed. - The hotel is built into the mountain with beautiful views, but there are many uphill paths. Luggage transport relies mainly on staff carrying it manually. In the future, adding more convenient transport channels or auxiliary facilities would not only reduce the burden on employees but also further improve service efficiency. This is a hotel that perfectly blends a sense of 'seclusion' with a 'resort feel'. I look forward to visiting again.

TTingtingAs a hotel enthusiast, I'd been eyeing this newly opened St. Regis last year and really wanted to experience it. This time, I decided to take the kids for a weekend getaway. Upon arrival, the bell service promptly assisted with our luggage. The lobby is located on the 35th floor, mid-building. Perhaps because it was a weekend, there were quite a few people checking in, so we had to wait in line. The front desk attendant noticed our long wait and apologized, offering us two small bears for the children. After that, check-in was processed quickly, and our luggage was delivered to the room. The butler provided thoughtful service, introducing us to all the room's amenities and services. We booked a co-branded room with a skincare brand, and as soon as we entered, seeing the beautiful decor instantly lifted my spirits. The room's view was also exceptional, offering a high-altitude bay view and the Happy Harbor Ferris Wheel – truly a feast for the eyes. The room facilities are brand new, which I, as a hotel enthusiast, absolutely loved. The room size was perfect, and the layout was well-designed, with a kind of Nanyang light luxury decor that felt very photogenic. After a short rest, my fatigue vanished, and I was in great spirits, so I decided to explore the hotel's public areas. The design of the hotel lobby and other public spaces truly felt like stepping into an art gallery, and the restaurant views were simply stunning. It's a bit of a shame I didn't get to experience the hotel's evening ritual or the rooftop bar; I'd definitely go back if I get the chance. The hotel is surrounded by various shopping malls and restaurants, very close to One Avenue and Happy Harbor, just a ten-minute drive away, with plenty of dining options. Transportation in the area is also very convenient. When we returned after dinner, the turndown service had already been completed, and thoughtful sleep amenities were provided, including a wide selection of pillows and a sleep spray. I must say, the hotel's bedding was incredibly comfortable. This is truly the advantage of choosing a major brand hotel – a good night's sleep is guaranteed. There's one more thing I have to mention: while the room was luxurious, the amenities seemed a bit substandard. Although the packaging bore the St. Regis brand, the toothbrushes, combs, etc., were quite ordinary. Of course, the towels and bath towels were new and felt very hygienic. However, I was grateful that the butler prepared children's bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries for our little ones, which was excellent. The late check-out was also very convenient; we were able to enjoy a good nap after exploring in the morning the next day. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Shenzhen.

WWurenzhishixigualaiMy stay at JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai at Tomorrow Square was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the metro station, which connects to 4 different lines, making getting around super convenient. Especially handy is the Line 11 airport express, getting you to the airport in under an hour. Plus, there's a shopping mall right next door, so shopping is a breeze. I stayed in an executive room this time; the layout and flow were well-designed, and the room amenities were thoughtfully detailed. Room service was also very prompt. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the dining experience was great. The rice noodle rolls and ramen were made to order, and they even had tabletop cards to prevent long queues and crowding. The guest services team was warm, attentive, and responsive. Both the gym and swimming pool were quite clean. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

GGuest UserPros - Both our rooms at level 10 were relatively close to each other facing the Wong Tee Plaza. It might be a way of the said front desk staff allocating these rooms to us to compensate for our unpleasant check in experience (see below). Spectacular views and we managed to spectate the night light show on Saturday without needing to go to the Civic Centre. - Facilities are great including 24-hour well equipped gym and sauna (best of all hotels in China we experienced so far). - Rooms are relatively new and fully equipped with necessities, has a dyson air dryer, Toto automatic toilet, automated curtains and a steamer to iron the clothes. - Breakfast had a lot of varieties to offer (personally loved the oden and sushi section), good service too. - Housekeeping was amazing. As I was leaving my room, Joy asked if we were interested in their laundry services and we declined as we do not have much laundry to do. After the first day of housekeeping, she noticed we did simple laundry (1-2 pieces of undergarment) and offered us a complimentary mini laundry detergent. We appreciate her thoughtfulness despite the fact that we initially declined her services. - Check out was relatively seamless, I believe it was the front office manager that managed our check out and explained the deposit refund procedures accordingly. - Concierge was decent too as they suggested we are better off getting a Didi to transfer our move to our next destination, and helped us load our bags to the Didi. Cons The only downside experience was check in. We requested if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms (all good if not, at least as close to each other as possible within the same floor). We were advised that given interconnecting rooms are not available for the same type of rooms: 1.The staff provided an offer (upgrade to one of the bigger rooms that has interconnecting room with free 3 days hotel breakfast for 2 out of 4 pax). The quote/offer was outside of our budget hence we declined the offer and we just accept our original booking via Trip.com with no interconnecting rooms. 2.After we declined, the staff informed us that she miscalculated the price (from RMB 31k down to RMB 20k) for the same offer. This is very odd/confusing to us especially with the price difference due to miscalculation, and she was trying to push this offer to us again which we declined. At this point, whatever price quoted to us of this offer lost its credibility and we proceeded to stick to our original booking. 3.The staff said that she will notify us via WeChat (she added us on WeChat) once the room is ready. Understood at that time it was before check in time (i.e. before 3pm) hence we decided to grab lunch and come back after the check in time. It was past 3pm and we heard nothing from her upon returning to hotel and had to approach the front desk to ask for an update. The same staff managed to provide us key card for one of the rooms while the other room is still not ready (it was past 3:20pm at that time). She said that she will arrange one of her coworkers to deliver the keycards to us once that other room is ready. Around 3:50-4:20pm, we heard nothing (I walked past the other room and noted the housekeeping has finished cleaning up the room and left). I had to go to the front desk to request an update and eventually obtained the keycard. I am not sure if the above stems from the individual's motivation or if this is part of the hotel's standard procedure to aggressively upsell (even if we already said no) or if the front desk is pressured to meet monthly KPIs, but that left us an unpleasant check in experience and obviously did not represent the check in hospitality standards of the hotel itself. Aside from the check in, we loved everything hence we had to give 4 out of 5.

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel. However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at Langham. The hotel room was beautiful. The service was prompt and courteous. The location was great for us that we could easily go to the mall where lots good restaurants were.  The only not so pleasant surprise was we asked the breakfast server on the second floor where we could get coffee. She said although the cafe next to the restaurant was not open until 10 am, she could get us 2 cups of coffee. After the 2 small cups of coffee, she charged us ¥111.90. Definitely the most expensive Americana coffee I ever had. Live and learn, people. Lol

Jjessca1978This is a landmark hotel. The front desk staff were very welcoming and arranged for an upgrade to a high-floor corner room. We had a great view of the New Territories of Hong Kong on one side and the Shenzhen cityscape on the other. Even the separate work area had a view, so the entire room offered a 270-degree panoramic view. The service butler was attentive, proactively bringing our luggage to the room and providing complimentary coffee, tea, and other drinks. They also offered robot delivery for takeout, which was convenient and quite fast. If you're driving, you park in the underground garage, then need to take an elevator to the first floor, switch to another elevator to the front desk, and then take yet another elevator to your room.

TTenajestOverall experience is satisfactory even though there is some issue happened where the front desk has made immediate compensation. The hotel is near the fairy wheel and outdoor shopping mall that is very connivence. Hotel executive complimentary is the best, where I can enjoy the most in the hotel with tea, wine and late check out. The suite they compensate is very spacious and nice. However, due to the construction site next to hotel, the standard room is comparatively noisy and there are multiple flying ants existed in the room, which annoyed me. Hotel should be more cautious while they are cleaning and balcony should not open to avoid insects fly in from construction sites.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is grand and luxurious. The lobby is on the 57th floor, so you have to transfer elevators there to go up or down, which is a bit inconvenient. However, the rooms are very spacious and clean, and the staff are all very enthusiastic. The area around the hotel is a bit quiet, but there's a subway station about 200 meters away, and it's a short taxi ride to nearby shopping centers and attractions.

2203993****The location is good, right next to Lianhua Mountain. Downstairs there's a restaurant, and across the street, there's a small supermarket and other dining options. Cross the pedestrian bridge and you're in Meilin, so it's very convenient for food. Subway: It's about 600-700 meters from Lianhua North Station (Line 4), a 5-6 minute walk. Hotel Environment: It's a bit older, so the facilities are a little dated. Service: The service was very good, and they responded quickly. When I checked into my room, I found the door lock was broken, and the hotel immediately upgraded my room. That was excellent!👍🏻 Overall, the value for money is pretty good, considering the price and the advantageous location.
