The room is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the location is very convenient. I particularly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious, with options like milk and steamed buns. It's only a 5-6 minute walk across the crosswalk to the subway station, which I really liked. The room facilities at this hotel are quite smart, featuring a smart toilet and a smart 'Xiao Du' (AI assistant).

I stayed at Huanggang Intercity on this business trip to Shenzhen, and my overall experience was pretty good. The location is excellent; the hotel is right near Huanggang Village Metro Station, making it very convenient to get around by subway. It saved me a lot of time getting to Futian Station and the Convention and Exhibition Center. The room had enough space, a simple and modern decor, and was quite clean. The bedding was comfortable, and it was quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were enthusiastic and generally responsive to any needs I had. The breakfast offered a good variety, so I didn't have to go out looking for food in the mornings during my business trip. The hotel also has a laundry room, which is especially practical for those on multi-day business trips. Overall, the location, cleanliness, service, and amenities were all well-balanced, making it a very suitable choice for business travel.

STAFF APPRECIATION: Simply wonderful. I encountered many staff members during my stay, working in the hotel itself, the various cafes and restaurants, and on the beach. Every single one was professional and kind and so very warm. Several of the young people working there also spoke English, which was an unexpected pleasure and convenience for which I was grateful. However, I owe a special thanks to the lovely little sisters at the front desk, Catie and Xiao Kue. Especially Catie. This sweet young woman took exceptional care of me during my stay, seeing to every need, answering every question (in English, no less), and patiently guiding my drivers to the location when I arrived or chose to go out and explore. I am getting older now and often require clear instructions and visual aids. 😅 She kindly offered both. 非常感谢。🙏 HOTEL REVIEW: There are multiple warnings given before and during the stay about ongoing construction next door, but it had minimal impact on my stay and, if you're out exploring and playing, you won't even notice it by the time you return in the evening. As promised, it started at breakfast time and concluded by 6pm in the evening around dinner time every day. I choose this hotel deliberately because, while a little more expensive than its competitors and a bit off the beaten path, it seemed to offer more convenience and privacy. I was so relieved to see that this was true. Their beach is small, but well-maintained and private, which meant no crowd and plenty of opportunity to take people-free pictures and simply sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea. There was also no shortage of dining options on the resort itself as well as nearby. Several fun, beautiful places to visit are also located a short drive away. However, if you're looking for a retreat, a place to simply rest and be close to nature, away from crowds, this place offers that as well. It was a welcome respite. I saw couple, families with children, and even a few other foreign guests all enjoying their time here. 🏖 Because I was on a budget this time, I chose the lowest priced room and was prepared to sacrifice my view of the sea. Unexpectedly, I didn't have to. This was a very happy surprise. ☺️ Though, I'll definitely try and splurge on a room on a higher floor next time as being near the entrance could sometimes be a little loud when guests arrived. Overall, I am completely satisfied with my time here and hope to return someday. TLDR; Wonderful, attentive staff; private, convenient location; stunning views; and several dining options all offer a very pleasant, worry-free getaway during peak season. Well worth the price and the journey. Every kind of traveler will find something to enjoy here.

This business trip, I stayed at Atour. The room's soundproofing was excellent, so it was quiet throughout my stay, and I got some great rest. My room was windowless, which meant I couldn't see the weather outside, which was a minor inconvenience. The transportation was quite convenient; it's close to the subway station, and ride-hailing apps pinpoint the location accurately, making commuting hassle-free. Overall, it's very suitable for business travelers looking for a temporary stay.

The room was great and very comfortable. The front desk service was excellent; they were very helpful with everything, even assisting with express delivery and lending me a charger. It's also very close to the subway. I originally booked for 3 days but ended up extending my stay by another 5 days.

The laundry service was convenient, and the buffet was delicious. However, the soundproofing in the room was poor; there was a clanking noise in the hallway late at night. My biggest complaint was that there was only one type of pillow available, with no choice between high and low pillows, which negatively affected my sleep.

The room price was incredibly good value for money. When I booked, I thought I wouldn't find a good room in Shenzhen for such a low price, so opening the door was quite a pleasant surprise: it was clean, tidy, and cleverly designed. The towels were thick, the pillows comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a great night's sleep! The lady at the front desk even gave me a complimentary breakfast: definitely a five-star review! The ingredient quality was excellent, especially the rice noodle station – so many fresh toppings to choose from, and delicious 😋. This will be my go-to hotel for business trips! Such great value.

The airport pick-up was also very prompt; no need to share a ride, I could go straight to the hotel as soon as I arrived. Once at the hotel, the room was very spacious and even included a massage chair. As it's a sleep-themed hotel, there were many thoughtful little touches, like music and sleep-friendly lighting. Overall, my stay was a great experience, and I'll likely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen.

Overall, it was decent. The room environment was fine, but the location isn't ideal for families with strollers, a bit of a hassle. The service was very good. I accidentally left my earphones, and the staff found them and mailed them back to me. Their service attitude deserves a big thumbs up! We didn't get to take the scheduled photos, which was a bit disappointing as we missed out on a family portrait. While the sea here didn't have the rumored 'glassy' effect, it was at least clean and suitable for kids to play in, which I really liked.

Having stayed in many hotels, I often find a disconnect in Shenzhen, but this one truly delivers on value for money. The lobby on the first floor is grand, and the overall architectural style is excellent. The room's decor and quality are great, and having a washing machine is very convenient for business travelers. There are also many dining options nearby, including numerous Japanese restaurants and yakitori spots, and it's a popular area for international visitors. The breakfast is very generous. My only suggestion is that the hotel's location is inaccurate on Didi (ride-sharing app). I recommend coordinating to adjust it to the lobby entrance, otherwise, pickups and drop-offs are inconvenient.
