This trip’s hotel pick turned out to be an absolute delight—every detail from check-in to checkout felt thoughtful and well-executed, making it a stay that truly exceeded all expectations. As soon as we pulled up by car, the doorman was quick to greet us, help with our luggage, and guide us to a parking spot. The parking lot was spacious and neatly organized, with staff on hand to assist with directing, so even new drivers could park without stress, no need to circle around searching for a spot. Checking in was a breeze too; the front desk staff had warm, welcoming smiles, verified our info efficiently, and even asked if we preferred a specific floor. Knowing we wanted a quiet stay, they promptly assigned us a high-floor room on the inner side, while also walking us through the hotel’s key facilities and service times—breakfast is on the 4th floor from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, perfect for early risers rushing to catch a schedule or late sleepers who don’t want to miss a hot meal; supper is served daily from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, ideal for refueling after a late night out; afternoon tea runs from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, a cozy spot to unwind; plus, there’s a self-service laundry room and gym in the same area, taking care of both laundry and workout needs in one go. They even reminded us about the temperature difference between morning and evening nearby, suggesting we bring a light jacket—this small, thoughtful touch won us over right away. Stepping into the room was a pleasant surprise—there was no stuffy odor, just fresh, well-ventilated air, and the lighting was fantastic, bright and airy even without turning on the lights at noon. The room was much more spacious than we’d imagined; the twin beds had plenty of space between them, leaving room for suitcases and a small stool without feeling cramped. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, fluffy yet supportive, and the mattress had just the right firmness—after a long, tiring day of traveling, lying down made all the soreness in our backs fade away, and we slept soundly both nights without any aches. The cleanliness was impeccable too—desktops and windowsills were dust-free, there was no grime in the depths of the wardrobe, the bathroom glass was spotless without water stains, the floor was dry with no puddles, and even the gaps around the sink were wiped clean, right down to the inside of the toilet. We felt totally comfortable walking barefoot on the bathroom mat or sitting on the carpet. The toiletries came in sleek pump bottles with a light, non-irritating fragrance—they lathered well and rinsed off easily, and there were extra cotton pads and swabs, covering all the essential needs for female travelers. Each side of the bed had two USB ports and power sockets, so we could charge our phones, tablets, and power banks all at once without tangled wires or scrambling for outlets—such a humanized design. The service during our stay was warm and reassuring through and through.

It was my anniversary with my partner. We had a good time and we were treated right. The hotel organized a nice romantic setup in our room. I enjoyed my stay. There are few things they can sort out like removing the carpet from the corridor it smells bad. I'd like to give a high 5 star ✨ review to Michelle she made every easy for us. I love how the water bottles are placed everywhere. The workers are everywhere cleaning the place.

A pretty perfect stay! I am traveling a lot around the globe and stay in 5* hotels. There are plenty of high-end luxury hotels in the Futian area. I am happy that I chose the Ritz-Carlton. Not just that the location is ideal - from the moment I entered the property until I left I felt a true warm hospitality. Especially Miya (reception) went above and beyond to make the stay memorable - always with a warm smile, very responsive and kind - it almost felt like having a personal assistant. Also helpful was, that her English is very good. Having a big outdoor pool is fantastic to have after a busy day, and for me it was also a perfect start into the day, after having a gorgeous breakfast (good choice also for Europeans). I appreciate the barista-coffee. The room might not be the newest (Scandinavian-like) design. However, it was in an immaculate state, perfectly clean, spacious, with plenty of well-positioned international plugs (no adapter needed) and very comfortable. And most important to me: with a very quiet A/C. So all in all: I truly can recommend this hotel, and when coming back to Shenzhen I for sure will stay here again.

We were very satisfied with our room, which had a balcony and sea view. The room was large, with comfortable bed, and modern bathroom, and very clean. The beach is easily accessible and has many facilities. We ordered drinks from the coffee bar and watched the sun set over the beach. The food we ordered from the Western style restaurant was very delicious. The service was good. We needed help to cast a movie onto the projector screen, and staff came up to our room to help us. Overall we very very impressed, and will come back in summer when we can swim, and will stay longer.

I’m staying at this hotel chain for the second time — really good quality as always. About this particular hotel: it’s not far from the metro station, about a 20-minute walk to Shenzhen Bay Park. There are cafés and shops nearby. The room has a coffee machine and all necessary toiletries. You can also do laundry on the 4th floor (it’s free, and the hotel staff does it for you). The staff are very friendly and checked me in earlier than the official time. I’ll definitely come back. Many thanks to William for his help!!

We choose the hotel so our daughter could enjoy the pool after a day out in the city. Great pool, only the fun rubber ring were a bit expensive to rent. Room was clean and spacious. We booked breakfast only but ended up having dinner there on the weekend. We had the buffet option that was amazing for our family as everyone could enjoy what they liked from Chinese food to more international cuisine. We would rebook. Location just next to the subway was very convenient

Amazing High Floor Views and Exceptional Service! I recently stayed at the UrCove by Hyatt in Shenzhen Bay, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The highlight of the stay was definitely the room location. I was placed on the 41st floor, and the views were simply incredible. Looking out over the Shenzhen skyline from that height was breathtaking, especially at night—I spent so much time writing with breathtaking view. The room itself was modern, super clean, and very comfortable. What really made the stay special, though, was the hospitality. The staff at reception were all lovely and made me feel welcome the moment I walked in. I want to give a huge shout-out to Kian at the front desk. He was exceptionally helpful, professional, and went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect during my visit. 🤍 If you’re visiting Shenzhen, I highly recommend staying here—just make sure to ask for a high floor! I’ll definitely be back.
