A very beautiful seaside resort that very suitable for couple especially the room is facing the sea. You can just sit on the bed to vet a very awesome seaview. The staff is very friendly and I got a free upgrade to the big room with both sewview and mountain view room Awesome! The room is very big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast canchoose Chinese style or Western style, its not a buffet but good enough. The taste is good too for Chinese style breakfast. 这家民宿真的是太漂亮了，非常适合打卡旅拍，非常的出片。这里的员工也很友善和有礼貌。我得到免费升级去海景套房，可以有海景和背面的山景，房间非常大，干净，舒适，非常适合情侣，也适合亲子住宿。我们的房间做在床上就有无敌海景了，露台也有个大水池，只可惜私密度比较低，如果可以加个窗帘，那么要私密有私密，要公开也可公开。有机会一定会在住这里。对了早餐也很好吃。

I came here for a change of scenery during the Mid-Autumn Festival and stayed at this hotel – what a pleasant surprise! The hotel ambiance is cozy; they had some lovely Mid-Autumn and National Day themed decorations, which my partner absolutely adored – we took so many photos. The room was meticulously cleaned, and all the facilities and equipment were brand new. The front desk staff were polite and easy to communicate with. There's a self-service laundry room, so you can wash your dirty clothes, and if you have time, you can even hit the gym. They offer a great selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the afternoon tea has a wonderful vibe, and they even provide late-night snacks, plus warm milk before bed. If you need anything, you can call a robot to deliver it to your room, which is very efficient, and the hotel can also accept courier deliveries for you. All these little details are so thoughtful, making it perfect for a short trip with your partner.

The hotel environment is clean and elegant, with a very comfortable overall atmosphere. The room facilities are complete and new, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom configuration is very comprehensive. All public areas are very tidy, and the breakfast is abundant, a self-service breakfast combining Chinese and Western styles. There's also free late-night supper with a wide variety, including sweet soups. The stay experience was excellent, and Evelyn's service was satisfying. I will choose this place again for my next trip.

Here's a detailed review of my stay: 📍 **Location:** One of the hotel's best features is its location. It's close to the metro station, and the public beach is about a 5-minute walk away. However, it's often crowded, not a private beach, and lacks any water sports or activities. It's also right next to the Outlet Village, accessible in just 2-3 minutes via a bridge, which is a great perk for shopping enthusiasts. 🏨 **Arrival and Reception:** The hotel entrance is beautiful and modern, making a great first impression. Upon arrival, the reception area was busy, and unfortunately, we had to carry most of our luggage ourselves. Only one small bag was assisted, while we pushed the rest of our suitcases up to our rooms. We had booked two rooms and were kindly upgraded to a pool-view room for one of them, while the other remained a mountain view as booked. To be honest, the pool-view room was smaller than the original room we had reserved. 🛏️ **Room:** The room was modern, elegant, and high-tech, with everything looking brand new. The toilet (excuse the description) was smart, and the hotel provided a Dyson hairdryer and special, high-quality outdoor slippers. Our room was approximately 50 square meters, making it spacious and comfortable, with two air conditioners providing excellent cooling throughout our stay. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, ensuring a peaceful sleep. Sound insulation within the room was excellent, and the integrated sound system with the projector/TV was fantastic with great quality. However, when walking through the corridors, you could hear TVs from some rooms. 🧹 **Cleanliness and Service:** Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was on the last night after the typhoon. During room cleaning, they only cleaned the balcony and emptied the trash, while the room floor remained wet, the bed wasn't made, bathroom tissues weren't replaced, towels weren't changed, and basic amenities weren't refilled. Overall, the service didn't feel like that of a five-star hotel. Most staff members were either busy on their phones or rushing around the restaurant unprofessionally. One surprising incident was when I went for breakfast about 45 minutes before closing, and when I asked for boiled eggs, I was told they weren't available, even though there was still plenty of time before the buffet ended. On the other hand, I'd like to thank the receptionist who checked us in; he spoke fluent English and was very helpful. I also appreciate the staff member responsible for the WeChat service, who was very quick to respond to all our inquiries throughout our stay. 🍽️ **Breakfast:** We stayed for 5 days, and the breakfast was the same every day with no notable variety. For us as Muslims, the options were very limited, mostly consisting of toast, eggs, and fruits. I hope they add more options suitable for international guests. 💡 **Facilities:** * Curtains and lighting are electronically controlled. * There's a robot for room service deliveries, which was a nice touch. * Customer service via WeChat is very quick to respond. * Upon check-in, we received free vouchers for Wish Tower entry, as well as mini-bar drinks. * The pool operates from 2 PM to 10 PM. I think the opening time is too late, especially for those who want to swim in the morning. * The pool is about 120 meters long, with a lifeguard present at all times. * Pool towels are not provided at the pool area; you have to bring them from your room, which I found surprising for a five-star hotel. * There's a small but functional gym. * The pool view is more vibrant and appealing than the mountain view. 📶 **Wi-Fi:** The internet speed was moderate, sufficient for daily use, but not the best. 🛗 **Elevators:** There are only two elevators, but during our stay, the waiting time wasn't long. 🚿 **Bathroom:** The toilet has a heated seat feature but lacks an electronic bidet, which I would have expected in a hotel of this caliber. 👕 **Services:** There's no iron in the room. Instead, there's a laundry room with a steam iron available for use. Frankly, I was surprised that room ironing service wasn't available, especially for a five-star hotel. 🌪️ **During the Typhoon:** Our stay coincided with a typhoon, and the winds were extremely strong, making the balcony door shake frighteningly. Credit to the hotel for securing the pool area and closing it to prevent items from flying around. However, guests were unfortunately not informed of any instructions or warnings; we discovered this ourselves. I would have appreciated a message or notice to reassure guests and explain safety procedures.

First off, the check-in time was indeed quite long, but it's understandable given it was peak summer season. They even offered drinks while we waited, which was a nice touch! As an InterContinental member, I also received two complimentary drinks at the bar. The hotel's facilities are excellent. I went for a spa treatment while my child and husband went swimming – a perfect arrangement. As soon as I finished my spa, the butler notified me that our room key was ready! There was also a welcome fruit platter in the room. The room's view was absolutely unbeatable! We truly felt at home and enjoyed every moment. However, I actually found the breakfast to be even better than the dinner buffet. The oil-splashed noodles at breakfast were delicious 😋, and the chef who made them had such character, clearly demonstrating his passion for food. I really admire him! Thumbs up to him! 👍 For dinner, the seafood wasn't very fresh; the oysters and crab meat were quite loose. Plus, on the second night, we wanted to try the Southeast Asian restaurant, but upon arrival, many dishes were unavailable, which was a bit disappointing, so we left to eat elsewhere. Also, the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM. Overall, having stayed at this hotel over 10 years ago, returning now with my child, I still highly recommend it! The pool and beach are amazing, offering great privacy for guests! We will definitely be back 😊

Excellent stay – very pet-friendly and convenient! The front desk service was excellent – the staff were very accommodating and genuinely pet-friendly. We are extremely grateful for their supper late checkout ! Breakfast offered a good selection of Western pastries options to choose from. The swimming pool was very clean, and the housekeeping staff were extremely friendly. Requests were handled promptly and efficiently. There are also plenty of self-service washing machines and dryers with large capacities – you can wash and dry a lot of clothes at once, and the dryers work very efficiently. The hotel layout is incredibly convenient. The car park, rooms, and laundry area are all on the same level, so you can get everything done without changing floors. The location is great too – about a 10-minute walk to a small pet-friendly beach where you can generally swim with your pets during the day. We'll definitely be back!

What truly surprised me was the thoughtful care provided by the Guest Relations team. The staff member I interacted with was warm and considerate. Being unfamiliar with the local area, I asked her for directions and she provided detailed guidance on unique and authentic places to visit and eat. She also efficiently arranged for my luggage to be stored temporarily, making the communication easy and comfortable without any awkward distance. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and consistent quality, and staff throughout the dining area were polite and attentive. While standardized hardware is readily available everywhere, this kind of meticulous and heartfelt service is truly rare. On my next visit to Shenzhen, I will prioritize staying here again and will gladly recommend it to friends and family traveling to the city.

Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen truly lives up to its reputation as a service supreme hotel. Not only is it the highest Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen, but the service throughout my stay was impeccable. I was thrilled to find out on this business trip that I was staying at the same hotel as my idol, Mr. Andy Lau! Enjoying breakfast on the soaring 78th floor felt like being in a fairyland. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the turndown service was as thoughtful as ever. Room service was very responsive. The welcome fruit was fresh and seasonal, and knowing my child enjoyed it, they sent another portion early the next morning. The family-friendly setup was warm and appropriate, and the kids' activities were a lot of fun. Finally, the checkout staff were very polite, escorted me all the way downstairs, and had a record of all my previous requests. I'm sorry I didn't catch their name, but I want to give them a big thumbs up here! It truly is my favorite hotel. While there are many luxury hotels, I particularly adore this one with its oriental charm. Mandarin Oriental will always be my first choice from now on! My only regret this time was that due to limited availability, I couldn't get an upgrade, and also, the welcome music was no longer ”Kangding Love Song.”

For tight business schedules, this saves a lot on commuting time. After adding Joy on WeChat, many minor issues didn't require a special trip to the front desk. If I needed to confirm information or coordinate simple requests, I could handle it directly online, without having to take time out of a busy schedule to go to the lobby, saving me the hassle of running back and forth. The room maintenance is quite good; it's always clean and tidy each time I check in. For short business trips, it's just a temporary stop for rest, and a consistent room condition helps avoid many unexpected small problems, allowing me to relax peacefully after a long day. The entire check-in and check-out process was simple and smooth, with no unnecessary or complicated procedures.

Hisoar doesn’t feel like a 5-star hotel. The hair dryer is very old, the washer/dryer doesn’t dry, the elevator is very slow, and the floor creaks. Sound proofing between floors is poor. There was a huge black bag of trash left in the elevator lobby on my floor for the entire day. There are design issues like unusable windows that would open to another room? and awkwardly placed refrigerators that force you into the kitchen corner, behind the door, to use. Service and location are good.
