"This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel was spotless, and I loved that the disposable toothbrushes were already in the bathroom, no need to pick them up at the front desk. The room was spacious and well-designed. This is definitely my go-to hotel every time I visit Beijing! A special shout-out to the bathrobes and slippers – they were incredibly comfortable! Breakfast was still mostly Western, and aside from the milk, everything was perfectly to my taste!"

"Traveling to Beijing alone for medical treatment, the Regent was fantastic! It's definitely the top choice for patients going to Peking Union Medical College Hospital; it's just a 5-minute walk, right across the street. My flight landed at Capital Airport at 10 PM, and I needed to take medicine late at night. The Hainanese chicken rice I ordered was deboned and delicious! They even rushed the order for me, and it arrived in my room very quickly. I specifically asked the front desk to wake me up at 7 AM and then again at 7:30 AM. They successfully woke me up for my 7 AM appointment at Xiehe (Peking Union Medical College Hospital), allowing me to be on time for my consultation. All the room service meals were delicious. Since I'd lost weight and was a bit weak, I didn't want to go out, so I ordered room service several times and was very satisfied. The food was great, so everyone can feel confident eating at the hotel! The male duty manager was excellent; he promptly explained and resolved a few minor unpleasant service issues. The front desk staff were also serious, responsible, and enthusiastic, which made for a very pleasant guest experience. The housekeeping auntie was also very warm and attentive to guests. The room service staff and floor managers were all very polite. Truly a top-tier InterContinental creation, the Regent! Worth coming back to!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, situated on Qinian Street, within walking distance of the Temple of Heaven and Qianmen scenic area. It's also very convenient to take a taxi or subway to other major attractions. I had a great conversation with Harris at the front desk during check-in; he professionally introduced all the hotel's facilities and services, which I really appreciated. The executive lounge also offers exquisite meals, and the service staff are very enthusiastic. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again on my next visit to Beijing."

"To leisurely visit two major art exhibitions in Beijing that were about to end, I decided to stay overnight in the capital and give JW Marriott another chance. The #JWMarriottBeijingCentral, located opposite Xiaochangkou Hutong, has a convenient location, right next to Zhaosheng Plaza, and is less than a ten-minute walk from Xuanwumen subway station. The hotel's overall decor matches the standards from its opening in 2014. This time, I booked a twin room with executive lounge access. The hotel lobby and room interiors are somewhat similar to the #GrandHyattBeijing, exuding a timeless, old-money charm. The executive lounge is on the 15th floor and includes breakfast, afternoon tea, light dinner, and evening cocktails. The variety and quality are significantly better than the JW in Taiyuan, especially the breakfast. Moreover, the hotel service was impeccable. Since we were going to visit exhibitions, we arrived at the hotel at 10 AM, and to my surprise, we were able to check in immediately. The next day, because we wanted to enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea, we were granted a late checkout until 3 PM, which was another pleasant surprise. All in all, this is probably one of the most value-for-money hotels I've stayed at in Beijing."

"The room was spacious and the location near Wangfujing was super convenient for getting around, even walkable to the Forbidden City. I was a bit worried before booking because of some reviews mentioning old rooms and poor service, but my actual experience was completely different. As soon as we arrived at the entrance with our two suitcases, a staff member guided us in and helped with our luggage. The front desk staff were all very polite, clearly explained everything, and proactively asked if we needed toothbrushes or other amenities. Once in the room, it really didn't feel like a hotel built in '09. The basic facilities were very well-maintained; perhaps the decor was a bit dated, but it didn't affect its usability. My favorite parts were the walk-in closet and the bathroom. My family and I really loved our stay at the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing."

"This was such a great stay in Beijing, and I will be forever grateful for the patience and kindness of the staff members, Xiaozhao and Xiaopan. They went above and beyond to help me recover an item I lost during a Didi ride. Firstly, the room we stayed in for three nights was the “Deluxe Family Suite (Open Kitchen+Washing Machine+Lefen Hair Dryer).” It felt very much like living in an apartment, complete with a comfy living room and a breakfast nook beside a small kitchen space. The bedrooms were perfect for the three of us to have our own personal space and get a restful night's sleep. Overall, it was a great, comforting space to come back to after a long day of dealing with crowds and sightseeing! As a testament to their amazing customer service and care, I had ordered a TON of things from Taobao ahead of time, and all the packages were waiting for me at check-in without any issues. Furthermore, some nearby construction caused a city waterline pipe to burst, resulting in a loss of running water in our room one morning. However, the staff were incredibly quick to address the issue and provided us with loads of bottled water until the city fixed the line that afternoon. The absolute highlight of their service came after I accidentally left my earbuds in the back of a Didi ride. I tried to navigate the recovery process with the driver but found it really difficult since I don’t speak Mandarin and didn’t have a Chinese phone number to coordinate the driver's suggested solutions. When I reached out to the front desk for help, Xiaozhao and Xiaopan were incredibly thoughtful and handled all the logistics to get the earbuds back from the driver. Thanks to them, I didn't have to forfeit my planned trip to the Great Wall. I came back at the end of the day to find my earbuds waiting for me! I am so incredibly grateful to them; they saved my trip from souring and were so patient with me through the ordeal and my anxiety! 😭👍💕 All in all, this is a great place to stay in the heart of the city with easy access to the metro, shopping, and local attractions within walking distance. While the comfy room might one day fade from memory, the kindness and patience shown by Xiaozhao and Xiaopan during a highly stressful time will remain a fond memory of my time in Beijing!
