Location is good, some 400 mtrs distance to bahnhof. Just past rive you will see the polybahn sign and campari hotel sign. Coops store is nearby except on sunday. Room is clean, size is ok. Bathroom had shower curtain to segregate toilet bowl and shower area, either way still wet. You can get utensils plates and kitchen towels from lobby area if you need to eat inside room. No kettle but hot water is available from lobby to fill up and thermos flask is provided there too. Coffee tea also there. You have return the utensils once done.
Luggage storage is avaiable. Extension of check out time is available only if you book thru their own website. All ok and acceptable.

The room was a bit small, but! The transportation was incredibly convenient. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's just a short walk to ETH Zurich, literally across the street. The hotel is also near the train station, just one bus stop away. The guy at the front desk was super nice! He helped us store our luggage, provided us with hot and cold water, and even re-stored our bags when we needed to grab something in between! Super nice~

We stayed at the Swiss Chocolate Hotel by Fassbind from 5/21/25 - 5/24/25 (3 nights). We are a family of 3 adults and booked 1 room that has (3) twin beds. Our room was on the 6th floor. It was clean and surprisingly roomy. The only problem, there's no AC (Europe hotels for most part don't have air-conditioning). We opened the window and let cooler air to come in. I am sure it's a lot less comfortable in the summer due to the heat.
The most enjoyable part were the staff at the front desk. Shout out to Yosie, Katia and Martina. These ladies were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The owner, Mr. Fassbind, should give these ladies a 8% raise.
The price for the room was also ”reasonable” for Zürich (~ $400/night). Being able to have 3 people in one room is a bonus. Most hotels will show ”sold out” when trying to book 1 room for 3 people.
I really had a very positive experience at the Swiss Chocolate Hotel in Zürich and can highly recommend it. I definitely would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

The location was fantastic, perfect for us as we only had a short layover for a half-day trip.
It was super convenient to get to the hotel from the train station in the evening, just a few minutes' walk. Perhaps because it was so popular and fully booked that day, they mixed up our twin room with a king-sized one. Since there were no other rooms available to switch to, as compensation, they allowed us to take whatever food and drinks we wanted from the self-service area in the lobby for free.
We hadn't had dinner yet that day, so we picked out a few items. Prices in Zurich are really steep, so it was a relief that this haul didn't cost us anything – definitely a testament to their thoughtful service! The breakfast the next day was also very generous!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just over 200 meters from Zurich Main Station. Turn right out of the hotel, and you're directly on Bahnhofstrasse, with all Old Town attractions easily accessible on foot. If you're planning a visit to ETH Zurich, simply turn left out of the hotel, cross the bridge, navigate to the Polybahn, and it's a quick 5-minute walk to catch the red funicular uphill.
We booked for two nights. A nice perk: if you opt out of daily housekeeping service for your second day, you can redeem a complimentary drink from the downstairs bar, one per person.
Our room was clean and tidy. The 'Wow' room type offered decent space, allowing us to comfortably open two large suitcases.

The location is very good, very close to the lake, walk for about 10 minutes. There is a yard where you can park, but you have to pay 15 Swiss francs for parking. Breakfast is relatively monotonous, bread, sliced intestines, milk, juice. We have two children, one is 5 years old, and the other is two years old. We booked a family room with a big toilet. There are two single beds and a large double sofa bed. The heating is too hot.

The hotel facilities are good. But I can't praise the service. We are foreign tourists, but they didn't provide us with the tourist card provided by the local government for foreign tourists, which can get free public transportation and special prices in museums. As a result, we spent hundreds of francs more. One of their front desk staff, who was probably a supervisor, also argued that when you checked in yesterday, there were other tourists checking in together. I thought you were together. We asked you and they didn't want it, so we thought you didn't want it either.

The hotel's location and views are fantastic. The staff are very welcoming, and the breakfast is abundant, which my child absolutely loved. The Executive Lounge dinner is served from 5 PM to 7 PM.

I took a car from the airport to the train station, and then it was about a 10-15 minute walk to the hotel. I arrived around 11 PM. Fortunately, I had received an email beforehand with the entry code, so getting the key and checking in was very smooth. The location is excellent, quite close to nearby attractions.

No hot water provided in room, like most hotels we stayed in Switzerland. Tap water is drinkable tho.
You can request for room slippers & they have a free sauna & gym on the 7th floor.
Definitely no children allowed to stay here. The bathroom has a transparent glass🤭
Migrolino (similar to 7-11) is located 200m away from hotel. Can easily pick up snacks, dinner & drinks.
Would love to return for a stay next time I'm in Zurich.

The hotel's elegant decorated rooms provide a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city.
This hotel places emphasis on healthy sleep, hence they have worked with a Swiss family company, Roviva for the bedding (there’s a small card information on the benefits of roviva bed provided). The room also comes with a pair of arm chairs and coffee table and amenities, including free Wi-Fi, Nespresso machine and movable flat screen TV. Lastly they have also provided an umbrella and grocery tote bag in case you need it which was very thoughtful on guests needs.
The breakfast buffet comes after booking the room (optional), offering a wide selection of fresh fruits and delicious hams, bread and yogurt options to start the day.
All in all, my family and I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel.

It's a convenient 10-15 minute walk from both the train station and the long-distance bus terminal, which is reasonable given the town's small size. The hotel itself is very quiet and spotlessly clean. I opted for the cheapest room, an attic room, but surprisingly, it didn't feel cramped or oppressive at all. Just a heads-up though: extending your stay might come with a price increase!

Near to Zurich HB about 10 mins walk from station. We were carrying 2 large suitcases only had 1 challenging point where we needed to carry them up a flight of stairs on the way to the hotel from the train station.

GGuest UserThe first day when we arrived on the 13th of August , the guy at the front desk was very friendly and polite.The hotel is located near tram and train station and bus station so it is was very convenient to go anywhere. Tram is 4mins walk away ,10mins walk to supermarket and train station. And 15mins by tram to the Zurich airport .
Hotel cleanliness is an issue, very dusty floor,dirty sink,and dirty toilet bowl. I even asked twice the receptionist the guy on duty if they can clean our room and put a fresh towel but no one came to clean.Room service is not 24hrs. Air conditioning doesn’t cool the room down. No tv channels. Hotel service is below standard.

GGuest UserHotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable.
Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep.
Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered.
If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.
