The room was tiny, I mean, really, really tiny. No breakfast and no windows. This week was the air show, so hotels were hard to come by. This place was barely better than a youth hostel. I paid over 6200 RMB for 4 nights.

Service: Since I was traveling alone and don't speak English, I relied on my phone translator to check in with the front desk. They didn't inform me about breakfast times, nor was there any sign at the front desk indicating breakfast hours.
Facilities: Pretty good, all facilities were great. The room had toothbrushes and cups, which I really appreciated. What I liked most was that after cleaning, they would proactively replenish my slippers and even gave me disposable makeup sponges.
Hygiene: When I was brushing my teeth, I noticed the transparent cup was a bit dirty.

Perfect stay experience — fully deserves a top score!
I was in a rush and didn’t get a chance to exchange Singapore currency. While paying at a nearby store, I was short by over 6 SGD and felt really embarrassed.
It was already 12 a.m. Luckily, the handsome night-shift receptionist was incredibly kind and warm-hearted. He offered to cover the amount for me without hesitation and saved me from an awkward situation.
All the staff are gentle, professional, attentive and reliable. The hotel truly cares about its guests with great humanity, making travellers feel welcome and comfortable far away from home.
This hotel is now on my must-stay list. I will absolutely book here again for my next trip or business stay in Singapore, and I highly recommend it to all travellers!

I had a pleasant experience. I booked a room without a window, which was located in the basement, so there was some music noise coming from above at times. However, the room was clean and comfortable. The pillow was a bit firm for my preference, and the hotel did not provide an iron, which would have been helpful. On the bright side, the staff were very kind and allowed us to store our luggage for free when we arrived early before check-in, which was greatly appreciated.

The hotel is conveniently located opposite a mall, which has direct subway access, making public transport very accessible. We had lunch at the Chinese restaurant on the third floor, and it was decent. When I tried to check in at 1 PM, I was told rooms wouldn't be ready until around 3 PM, so don't expect an early check-in. The room itself was good and clean, quite nice for Singapore standards. The only downside was the slightly old elevator that closed a bit too quickly. Breakfast was crowded with limited options, mostly Indian cuisine, and the taste was just average. There are plenty of small restaurants nearby. The bedding was a bit too soft for my liking. Overall, it was an okay stay, and the price of 1300 per night is on the higher side of mid-range.

The hotel is good except sound insulation facilities. I encountered awful things which annoyed me. There was a baby next to my room always screaming,crying on the late night lasting about two hours. It made me crazy to go to sleep. I complained for hotel reception to help me solve the problem. I want to especially thank the reception staff Yusuf (If I remember correctly). He actively help me to negotiate with that room and require them to comfort their baby. Fortunately, it solved finally.
As the hotel room, it is not very big but clean. It spend about 15min from the MRT station on foot and very close to Haji lane. It is convenient for food because there are many restaurants near the hotel.

We were two girls traveling together and stayed at Tai Hoe Hotel for a short trip. The location is quite convenient — close to Mustafa Centre, City Square Mall, and public transport, which made getting around easy.
The room was small but manageable. It was clean enough, but nothing fancy. Some parts of the room felt a bit old and could use an update. The bed was okay, though not super comfy, and the air conditioning worked fine.
One thing to note — the walls are quite thin, so we could sometimes hear noise from the hallway or other roosms. As two female travelers, we felt generally safe, but the environment was more functional than cozy or relaxing.
Staff was polite but not overly warm or welcoming. Check-in/check-out was quick and smooth.

GGuest UserThe hotel room was average, a bit small and dated, with a really poor view. Honestly, it felt worse than a typical Hanting Hotel back home. The service was also just okay. I saw online that they offered Chinese-speaking service, but when I checked in, the front desk attendant, who was clearly Chinese, specifically said she didn't speak Chinese. I've stayed at Conrads in China before and had a great experience, so this was a huge disappointment in comparison. I definitely won't be staying here again.

The design is fun and colorful, not your typical hotel vibe. The room is compact but works fine, with a private bathroom, and the sink is outside the bathroom which is actually quite convenient. I stayed in a standard room—it’s okay for couples or friends.
The hotel has more of a co-living feel. There’s a shared kitchen, dining area, and even a small workout corner, so it feels more social than a normal hotel.
Breakfast was a bitsimple with limited options, just a few simple dishes and some bakery items. I’d recommend skipping it and eating outside instead.
Location is definitely a big plus. It’s inside Funan Mall, super convenient for shopping and food. You can also easily walk to places like Fort Canning Park (right across the road), Clarke Quay, and Merlion Park.
Overall, nice stay if you like modern design and a lively vibe—just don’t expect too much from the breakfast.

Service was excellent throughout our stay; staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful whenever we needed assistance. The amenities were also impressive, and everything felt modern and comfortable.
Overall, a wonderful experience and very family-friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, were very polite and enthusiastic. The room is on the smaller side, but clean, and probably best suited for one person. For two people, you'd likely struggle to open your suitcases. The downside is that there's a restaurant on the first floor, and the corridor on the second floor gets quite smoky during dinner time.

I'll definitely give this a 5 star rating for peace, comfort and joy at a decent price.

AAnonymous UserI wouldn’t say the hotel is at tip top condition given it is just a 2-year old hotel. Curtain hooks are falling off (I fixed it myself). Only two pillows for in the room we stayed (isnt it normally 4 pillows for a hotel room?). Asked for extra pillow and duvet for the sofa bed, got extra towel and didnt get extra pillow, too lazy to fix it so I gave up… towel is a bit worn off too…
Aside from that, I love the location! Close to changi village hawker for all the good food, close to changi beach for an evening stroll and morning exercise.
Overall nice experience but maybe not for the picky humans.
I was going to give 3.5 stars initially. Gave 4 stars because the nice staff voluntarily helped to load our luggages onto our cab!

First off, I chose this place because it's super close to Universal Studios, and I figured a chain hotel wouldn't be too bad. But the price wasn't exactly cheap – I paid over 480 for a queen room. I know hotels in Singapore are pricey, so this was within my expected budget; I'd already come to terms with the cost. The front desk staff were all really nice. However, my heart sank when I opened the door. The room was tiny, and they don't provide slippers, toothbrushes, or cups, citing environmental reasons... though if you ask the front desk for a toothbrush, they'll give you one. For cleanliness, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 – not terrible, but not outstanding either. It's a small room but has all the essentials, though you definitely can't fit two suitcases in there; it felt really cramped. On the bright side, the soundproofing seemed pretty good. I'm not sure if there were no other guests or if everyone was just incredibly considerate, but I didn't hear any noise. Plus, I was so exhausted from sleeping at the airport the night before that I slept like a log. It was the best night's sleep of my entire trip, and I was genuinely shocked that I slept best in the smallest room... Oh, and the shower gel and shampoo are all-in-one, so if you're particular, you might want to bring your own.
