"The hotel's interior is beautiful, perfect for photos on a sunny day. The in-room amenities are high-end, like a Dyson hairdryer and LELABO skincare products. The bed was also very comfortable. We stayed in a newly renovated room with a large terrace overlooking the inner courtyard. The travel photographer and butler both requested a positive review, so I'm giving five stars, but I still want to provide an objective assessment. I believe the core issue with the hotel's many negative reviews lies in the details. For example, there were only facial tissues available at the vanity, which was quite inconvenient. The TV couldn't cast, and the bathroom lacked an exhaust fan. When I requested two bath sachets, only one was provided (though they did send another when asked). At the restaurant, when I was packing a breakfast to go, one staff member offered me cutlery and perhaps an extra napkin. Another staff member immediately interjected, saying ”just a pair of chopsticks is fine, no need for these.” I felt really awkward being there. The service is good, but you consistently get a subtle feeling of pettiness. While it's good for staff to be economical, they should also consider the guests' experience. I hope this objective review helps future guests and encourages the hotel to improve its details for a more comfortable stay."

"I happened to be there during a typhoon. The hotel offered many conveniences, though my stay was short. It was cloudy and I experienced heavy rain and strong winds. Despite all that, I still fell in love with Ningbo, thanks to the hotel restaurant's amazing food. They are excellent cooks, and the solo meal was incredibly good value. The hotel was very clean, and being on a high floor wasn't uncomfortable. I did have to turn off the room's AC though, as it got a bit chilly. I still think the 'Three Rivers View' room is the best choice."

"My overall experience at Crowne Plaza Ningbo City Center was extremely satisfying, and I must commend Guest Manager Nancy. Her service was attentive and thoughtful throughout, and you could feel her dedication in every detail. Before my arrival, she proactively upgraded my room and patiently assisted me in registering for the IHG Rewards Club, explaining the member benefits. She also helped me pre-register my car's license plate information, saving me the hassle of doing it upon arrival. Additionally, she prioritized our check-in, significantly improving the efficiency of the process. During my stay, there was a minor issue with the room. After I reported it to Nancy, she responded very quickly and immediately arranged for us to move to a brand-new room. Her efficiency in handling problems was excellent, and it didn't disrupt our rest. The hotel is located in the city center, offering an excellent location with comprehensive dining and shopping options nearby, making transportation very convenient. From the initial communication and check-in to handling unexpected issues, every step made me feel at ease. The service is commendable, earning a five-star rating. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone."

"Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, the room is spacious and comfortable. I especially loved the separate small room ✌️. The gym equipment is also good, quite large and sufficient. Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well. Stepping into the room felt like coming home. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Ningbo. Environment: There's construction across the street, but it didn't affect anything at all; there was no noise. The hotel even provides earplugs, which is a nice touch. It's also conveniently located right next to Banji. Service: Miya, my apartment manager, was incredibly dedicated and responsible – thumbs up! 👍 The breakfast at this hotel is also delicious, especially the scallion oil noodles 🍜. "The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to visit Tianyi Pavilion, Moon Lake Park, Chenghuang Temple, Old Bund, and Ningbo Museum—all just a short taxi ride away. As an older Marriott, the decor, facilities, and service standards are still up to par. Although it's an older property, it's well-maintained, so don't compare it to brand new hotels. The upgraded 37th-floor executive room and the 39th-floor executive lounge offered fantastic views of the Three Rivers at night, which was very enjoyable; it would have been even better without the rain. The bayberry juice in the minibar was delicious. Directly opposite the hotel is Dingding Malatang, and their baked seafood is a must-try! The breakfast selection on the first floor is a bit limited but sufficient for basic needs. During peak hours, the auntie at the noodle station seemed overwhelmed, leading to some disorganization, which I hope they can improve."

"I stayed at an Intercontinental Hotels Group brand for two consecutive nights. The first night was at Voco Dongqian Lake, and the experience was just okay. The rooms in a scenic area should ideally have a view to match, but my window just looked out at a building, which felt very jarring. The breakfast had a lot of variety, but the quality was mediocre. The second night, I stayed at the Indigo in Wenchuang, and the design was much more impressive – walking into the lobby felt like a W Hotel, I wonder if it's the same designer. The service was fantastic; even when I returned to the hotel at 2:30 AM, the doorman still helped me open the door and press the elevator. The butler service was incredibly thoughtful; perhaps they guessed I'd sleep in 😏 and proactively offered me a late check-out. I didn't get to try breakfast, but I'll definitely experience it on my next stay. Highly recommended!"
